They took Scarlet, my Chihuahua/Corgi mix with 10 minutes notice. Everyone was friendly and I wax told 30 to 90 minute to complete (it was her first visit & they weren't sure how she would like the dryer). I walked around Montrose & got a call in less than 30 minutes. She looked great, smelled wonderful and was happy to see me. I was happy enough to schedule a future appointment. Just a followup: We took our doggie named Capri to Danielle again and we always wonder if the first experience will compare with this one--it did! Danielle is a very nice woman who was grooming a beautiful poodle when we arrived and dropped off our Capri. Our dog was a little reticent to walk in but seemed happy after Danielle took her and put her in a holding cage. We took the 2 to Alvarado to MacArthur Park (is melting in the sun, the sweet icing flowing down) to Langer's for the largest pastrami sandwich we ever saw. Then we zoomed up the 2 to Bath & Biscuit and saw our sweet Capri being groomed by Danielle. She looked happy, Capri not Danielle. Capri was beautiful after her grooming. Wow! Our kitty, whom we adopted almost a year ago, had some distasteful tangles and stuff going on... won't gross you out here but we had recently noticed she was uncomfortable. We took her to Bath and Biscuit which had come highly recommended. When the queen bea came home she was gorgeous: all areas trimmed and freed up from tangles, clean, smelling great, and with that warm glow you feel after a great hairdo. It was Rally's first visit at Bath & Biscuit with Danielle. He had an ear infection so I waited a while to get him groomed and also enough time for me to find a suitable groomer. I was recommended to Bath & Biscuit by a friend and also read great Yelp reviews. Rally came in very dirty (straggly sandy hair where I can't hardly see his eyes and long nails). Danielle was very nice and bonded quickly with Rally. Rally came out looking so clean and happy. I am so pleased with Rally's new makeover (perfect all-around-haircut and so white, clipped nails, and clean ears. I can't stop giving him kisses and hugs! I am so grateful to have a place like this near my house. I have taken my puppy, Mimi, to many places but never once return to the same place twice. She was badly cut the last time. Anyways, I call last minute hoping they have an available appointment because it was urgent, and they schedule me for the next day. I believe the person who groomed my puppy was Danielle. She did an amazing job and listened to all my requests, but more importantly, Mimi came home happy and energetic. After the groomers, she's always depressed and wants to be left alone, but this time, she was totally herself. I am so happy I've finally found the right place for her! Took my little, wiggly yorkie here for the first time today for grooming. He looks great! They were friendly and took their time with him, but didn't keep him all day like some groomers. He didn't seem stressed at all when I brought him home, which he has with past groomers. The price was completely reasonable. PAULINA is the BEST groomer in the L.A. area. I know this because I went to MANY of them trying to find the right one. If my cat looks choppy & uneven & like I did it myself, then why am I paying someone??? Paulina is a professional! She does dogs & cats & makes them look fantastic! She is precise & will use a product you bring in if you have your own shampoo, she also offers several hypoallergenic shampoos. Most importantly, she LOVES animals & never does more than they can handle. If your cat is freaking out & terrified, she will send the animal home, instead of forcing them through a bath, blow dry and cut, just to take your money. We found Paulina at another grooming facility in Toluca Lake which was 5 minutes from our house. We now drive 30 miles round trip to Montrose to see her. It's worth it because my cat feels comfortable with her, she takes great care of him & he looks amazing after! read more

Recently started taking my dog here, Michelle groomed my dog and noticed that she had an issue. After I paid and left she called me to share the issue and recommended I call the vet. We went to the vet and he said the problem was going on for several months and if not caught sooner my dog would have surgery. She gets groomed every few weeks previously by another local groomer and no one said anything about the issue. I am so grateful to her for recognizing my dogs discomfort that only a vet or groomer would be able to notice and called to share the information. I know they treat him well too because he is in such a good mood after. Took my dogs here a few times and I love it, the women who works there is so sweet and kind to me two Maltese. They used to be terrified to go to the groomers and now they never have a problem. My old groomers on Foothill use to cut my babies eyes and I used to find little scratches on them but this place takes amazing care of your pups and I haven't found any cut marks. read more

My little ones were in need of major grooming. I had been taking them to a big name pet store, but I found Bath and Biscuit on Yelp and thought I would give them a try; seeing as they had great reviews. I took Minnie first, since she was the worst off. She's my little 5 pounder Maltese. She's particular about her left front paw, because of an old injury. And she squirms and wiggles like none other! Grooming is VERY difficult. I explained all of this over the phone when making my appointment and I was assured that it'll be ok. I dropped her off with Lisa (again explaining all of Minnie's tics). When I picked her up 2 hours later, she was a completely new pup!! I couldn't be happier! Not that Minnie wasn't a cutie before. Her "fur cut" (as I like to call it) made her 100x more adorable. I couldn't stop smiling! They did such a great job that I made an appointment to bring in my two others tomorrow! read more

We love Michelle, she does a very good job on my golden. He comes home luxurious like a tub of butter. She gave him a light trim under the belly and back side of the legs even we didn't pay for it. After many years, AJ still gets his haircut from B&B, despite moving away from the area. To avoid the drive I've tried a couple of other places, but groomers don't seem to have perfected the schnauzer cut, so we make the drive. I have been here a few times now. I bring in my dog to get her nails trimmed. The girl on Sundays is always friendly and super quick. I know that if I go there I can be in and out within 10 min. I went on a Saturday recently. The staff was as equally as friendly but I guess handled my dog a bit different. My dog was freaking out. Probably just a difference in how they put her on the table. They didn't hook her into the table. In the end I will definitely be back to this place. They are friendly and know what they are doing. I've seen them grooming dogs and they look so cute. read more

I doubt I'll ever be going there again. I really LIKED this place. Brian use to groom my dog. But when I called to make an appoinment they let me know he no longer worked there. Well the girl that groomed my dog today complained about her (my dog) and charged me more than Brian would. I never got a complaint from Brian about her so it came as a surprize how much she had to say. My dog ended up with a cut somewhere in her mouth and I understand accidents as do I understand a dog might miss behave but I would of rather gotten a call when it happened and maybe just letting me know my dog was to much to handle. I've been bringing my babies here to Shanda and Danielle for several years and they always give great haircuts and they are careful to not cut them. The only issue I have is that it can take several hours sometimes and I don't like leaving my dogs there for too long because they don't like being there. The last time when I told them that, they were accommodating and said they would do their best to have them ready within 2 hours. Other then that, I am very happy with this place and will continue to take my dogs there. read more

Love this place! I'm terrible at describing what I want for my Westie's haircut ("a combination of a standard Westie cut and a puppy cut?") but Danielle somehow did exactly as I'd pictured. She even called me partway through the first grooming to ask a question about exactly how I'd like the fur around her ears trimmed. I hate leaving my dog somewhere for long periods of time so I usually try to take the first morning appointment and my dog is back looking amazing within a couple of hours. I also like that Danielle will always call BEFORE she finishes my dog to give me a 10 minute heads up so I can be there as soon as she is done. Reasonably priced as well.
