However, this location was so nice because the lovely guy who helped me wasn't pushy or overbearing. We had a nice conversation about what products I like and he made a wonderful suggestion when they were out of the mask I wanted. I was given space but was attended to if needed. That was SO refreshing. The customer service at this location was fantastic. And I found multiple new products that I love. More of this please, LUSH! I will now be a regular at the Annapolis Mall location because it was the most relaxed experience of any LUSH store I've experienced (and I've visited many across the US).

I went to the Subway at Sunrise Shopping Center because the one at Rivertowne only took cash. I…read morenoticed that there was a beauty supply place next door and it had signs that said "Black Lives Matter" and "Black Fathers Matter" so I went in because a lot of hair groups have been talking about finding black owned beauty supply places and buying black owned hair products. I even made a blog about how hard it was to find black owned beauty supply places with black owned products. When I stumbled onto this place, I saw a black woman at the front working on some things. She greeted me when I came in, I asked her if it was a Black Owned business just to be sure and she said it was. I had just come from another beauty supply place so I didn't need anything but I got some sheen. The I proceeded to go on Instagram and Facebook to talk about it. I think she said they have been there for a year and a lot of people didn't know about it. Likely because the gym that was there is gone. They are a small business and I think we need to support them so that they can get more products, preferably black owned products. There are SO many beauty supply places around here that are Korean owned and we need to do better to support our people since we spend so much money on our hair products. So lets do this yall.

This was my second time making a perfume here. I made one in February 2026 and April 2026. Both…read moretimes were great and were pretty much the same experience. It can become a little crowded and loud. I do wish it was a little more less overstimulating, and a little more on the personal level. But, we managed both times. When you arrive you are seated at a bar like set up. You are instructed to smell some base fragrances. From there you have maybe 6-8 crafted scents to smell from there. Let me tell you it is hard. Going outside to smell and giving it time to rest on the paper or your skin is best. The whole process takes about 1 hour or so. In October we made a signature scent for the fall/winter time frame and this recent visit in April we went for a spring/summer scent. All the staff were amazing. They really paid attention to us the whole time and engaged in some nice chit chat and enjoyed our time. The cost is under $100 which is very reasonable for what you get. A lot of higher end fragrances cost around that or more. My friend and I really enjoy this experience/ So much that we may do this often.
