This is one of my favorite stores in Elk Grove. It's always clean, well lit, and well stocked. The workers are polite and efficient. It's always a pleasant and fun experience looking for new fragrances. My only complaint is that they check in on each customer too frequently. We come here pretty regularly to shop or pick up orders that I made online when I needed something. I come here a lot during the holidays or anytime I need gifts really. Their gift sets are super easy for giving and everyone is always happy with them. I love that they have men's items as well and for the last few months have been buying my husband's deodorants from the selection. He smells so good and they are actually less than I was paying for his standard deodorant. I stopped in today to grab some lotion and ended up getting a body spray and cologne from the men's shop for my husband as well. The only caution I can offer is not to go wild buying lotions when they're on sale as the lotions here don't seem to last. I have done that a few times and after a few months of sitting, the lotions seem to turn yellow and start to smell bad. Now I just come for a new one once I'm almost out and that has worked well. They usually have good deals and sales though and I love their candles too. read more

This location is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of items in stock. Candles are towards the front of the store. They still had some Disney Princess soaps, sprays and shower gel left after a month from the launch. They only have the Aurora hand sanitizer left. Bath & Body Works usually has special offers and sales going on. There are so many different types of fragrances to choose from, and are scattered all around the store. But I haven't been able to find like items in one area to choose from, and the fragrances aren't favorable to me like they use to be, for ME. I was trying to find assistance in the store, since there were plenty of staff around, but i didn't find them very helpful. They would provide a quick vaguely answer and walk away from me. I ended up purchasing 5 soaps for the special price of $27.00, spending $29.36 for the 5 hand soaps with tax, for fragrances I'm not super thrilled with. Maybe be sure you are satisfied with your choices before purchasing, just for the sake of being enticed by " special offers" read more

I shop here often! Love this location - so close to my house. Everyone is nice and friendly and helpful - USUALLY! I'm giving 3 stars today because I was unable to pick up my cancelled order. There was a great sale going on and I placed an order online on December 10. Shortly after placing the order Online I had an emergency and had to go out of town. While out of town, I received an email saying my order was ready for pick up. I got back to town on December 16 and got to the store as quickly as I could to pick up my order. Before getting to the store, I received an email earlier in the day saying that my order had been canceled that same day, December 16. When I got to the store, I explained the situation that I had been out of town for a family emergency and asked if they could this one time honor my request for the order that had been canceled. I spoke to the manager Sophia and she told me that they couldn't honor the request even though the order had only been canceled earlier that same day. She said they had the items in stock but she couldn't honor the sale price so if I wanted to buy them, I could but it would be at eight dollars per item instead of $3.25 per item. It was pretty disappointed since I shop at this store ALL the time. At least once per week. I understand rules are rules, I had hoped they could make an exception this one time due to the circumstances. But no luck. read more

Wow! I cannot believe I've not written a review for Bath & Body Works! This location is a household staple in our household!!! They have the best holiday sales on all categories. We also watch the online sales as well. They offer body sprays, body soaps, hand sanitizers, body lotions, and much more!!! The staff has always been helpful and cheerful. We normally do not need help. We're too busy trying out the display bottles. We like to smell the latest trends. We like to buy some for our household. They also have the smaller sized bottles that are great for stocking stuffers!! We also like the small sized ones for traveling as well. Overall, a great place to shop! They have ample parking. the workers are very helpful & let me open a new tester for a pistachio fragrance which i really appreciate. the last few times i've went it's been pretty busy but not a super long wait in line. the prices aren't terrible but its very easy to go overboard in there. i love the bath & hand soaps. i wish they had strawberry pound cake in a bar soap! read more

I just went in to get my free reward and I saw that there was some remnants of the semi annual sale, so of course I picked up just a few odds and ends for just $3 each. They had also already put out some of the Halloween stuff and are now calling it summer-ween, and IM HERE FOR IT! I love shopping at this location because for the most part the store stays super organized, well stocked, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I also love that they don't follow me around and watch my every move! I placed an online order for the new Princess items at 8:00am, the store didn't open until 10. You would think that they would fill the online orders 1st before opening the store, knowing how high demand these items would be, but they did not. Instead at 1:20pm I received a cancelled order notification due to the items being out of stock. Terrible customer service! The online orders should have been filled prior to the store being opened since the order was placed 2 hours before the store was opened. What's the point of allowing people to ordered it online if they aren't going to fill those orders first. read more

While this location is close to where I work, they are usually out of my favorite items so I had to get them at the other Elk Grove location. First time visiting this location and wow it's one of the most aesthetically organized B&BW's that I've seen lol. I mean it does help that this one is fairly new. I was shopping today for the hand soap sale. I was happily greeted and told about the sales and given a basket to shop immediately. I found a hand soap I liked that I used at the handwashing station. But I couldn't find it on the wall of soaps. The employee who greeted me was busy assisting another customer. So I found a worker who wasn't busy blonde brown hair with glasses, to help me locate it. Since I was unable to find it. The worker said, It's on the wall, and pointed. I asked her, "Could you help me locate it? I cannot find it." She said, "If it's not on the wall, then we don't have it," and walked away without looking to help me. I asked someone else; they found it for me. But then I see the worker I had asked before going out of her way for another customer. But I wasn't helped to locate a product. Good customer service would be to help locate the product for the customer. Not have the customer be told to look on the wall yourself pretty much. read more

Love this new bbw location! I was greeted by a friendly employee and all of them were helpful whenever I had a question. Everything was so neat and organized! A little overwhelming with so many products all over the place but if you ask an employee what you're looking for they'll head you in the right direction. There's plenty of options and varieties from fine fragrance, candles, wallflower plugins and refills, and hand sanitizers and so much more. Unfortunately they don't accept expired coupons. I wish this bbw was closer to where I live but I wouldn't mind making the trip down here since I love the friendly/helpful employees as well as the endless various products they carry. Hello supervisors, managers and corporate. I went to this Bath and body. Normally they're nice are used to have a customer they used to work here. She's been management here. She was amazing. I had the most terrible walk and I walked in and I had my bags I don't drive I take a bus everywhere. I am so sorry that I do that I came in and I never got a greeting from neither nobody. I'm walking around and I'm looking around. No one's never offer me a basket or nothing I walk in already. I've been working in Elkgrove for like 17 1/2 years so it doesn't come that it comes natural. When your stereotype so I walk in walking around I'm grabbing things and then I run into a lady and I say excuse me can I get a basket or a hand basket she says sure still I get the basket and I'm walking around the store and I'm putting stuff in my basket no one ever tells me or says nothing to me. The ladies on the other side of the store are having a ball with everybody that's coming in no acknowledgment at all is very harmful. Coming in here and not being not be in greet or no nothing is really hurting my feelings, I get up to the counter when the lady at the counter was very sweet I don't recall her name let me grab my receipt in the bag and reserve I don't recall her name but I can tell you the time so it was 227 today's date 12 2323 register three I believe she had like Auburn red hair, reddish orange. She was very nice and very friendly. She told me more about the deals and allow me to put my stuff on the counter with no problem I love her customer service. My daughter's candle was not burning evenly so I went to the store to exchange since the other Bath and Body on E Stockton was closed. I was told that I would be able to exchange it by one manager but the manager at the new store said that they're policy changed. I don't typically exchange a candle but they did nothing, absolutely nothing to support customer service. No options, no discount on a next candle purchase, nada. Definitely disappointed!!!
