It seemed as if we were buying those things for free. True those products are at wholesale prices but there the difference isn't poles apart. Maybe a few dollars. Atleast you get a lot more variety and most importantly good bedside manners when you go to another makeup store like Sephora/ulta/Mac. Today I called them to check if they had a certain bbcream shade. she said they didn't have it. I asked her if she could tell me how much it costed. said she couldn't tell me. She claimed I have to come down to her store just to find out the price. What in the world!? Are these people for real? I just hung up. Although the store clerk, Ada, was very attentive to me and enthusiastic about the products, she was not candid when I asked her why some candles in the classic 22-ounce glass jars had white labels on the bottom while other jars had white labels. She replied that she had been told what the tan labels meant but could never remember and therefore could not tell me. Two days later, while I was at another Yankee Candle outlet store, an HONEST store clerk told me that the tan labels designate IRREGULAR candles. It is a serious violation of state consumer-protection laws to misrepresent whether merchandise is irregular or second-quality. For this, I am deducting two stars from what would have been a five-star rating.
