Long Beach Towne Center is probably my least favourite shopping center, because of all the people and the chaotic parking lot, but I do love Bath and Body Works. I am not a girly girl by any means. I don't wear much makeup, and I don't lust after purses and high heels. But if I'm going out where people are gonna be close enough to smell me, I wanna smell good. Bath and Body Works carries so many scents, and each scent has it's own line of fragrances, sprays, lotions, soaps, etc. It's fun to walk around the shop, testing out your testers, and choosing a signature scent for yourself. The prices are reasonable, and on top of those reasonable prices, they also have big sales a few times a year. I wear Japanese Cherry Blossom, which smells fresh and sweet and gets me lots of compliments... But my favourite thing about it is the absence of pain I've had since I began to wear it. A few years ago I began getting terrible migraines, and I had to do away with all the expensive perfumes I've been given over the years. Now, I can smell good, feel good doing it, and it won't affect my budget much. Thank you, Bath and Body Works! I love you. Note: After my recent change to cruelty-free cosmetics, I was happy to know I could keep all of my Bath and Body Works products. NONE of their stuff is tested on animals, which means you can use it all without a smidgeon of guilt. Love it even more now. read more

Just bad business. I came in to buy some candles. Specifically a particular scent, but ended up not getting it. I asked the employee for the candle and we were on our way to get it but we were stopped in our tracks by another customer. She stopped and helped the lady in the middle of helping me. No big deal. But of course the lady was looking for the same scent. And the employee actually gave her the LAST candle that I felt was promised to me because we were literally on our way to get it, right in front of me. She said, "let me check in the back." Why didn't she check in the back for the other lady? I was beyond irritated because I made the drive for that particular candle. If it was just sold out I wouldn't have been mad, but the fact that it was just given to someone right in front of my face when we were literally going to get it. I also wouldn't have been mad if she was actually helping the other customer first and she ended up with it. It's just bad customer service and business. read more

Shopping at Long Beach town center can be a headache because of the exit eastbound being so scary! I like coming here to The Town Center for a few reasons, Edwards Theaters and Bath and Body works! I have a small collection of body sprays and lotions which I've had a hard time figuring out which one is my favorite. At this time I think The Coconut Lime breeze is my personal favorite. I am due for some new items, I love shopping here. I recently received a gift of Rio Rumberry which is also pretty nice, it came with a candle too that lasted a good day or so. I receive great service here too, it isn't as crowded as The Cerritos location. The lip products and hand creams are great. Thank you! read more

Poor service. I was in the store this weekend and service was poor. Slow service and no one ever attempted to assist me. The lady running the rear card only check out told me she was only pulling from the line of 6 guests before me. However the lady up front assisted all 6 guests and my shopping partner walked right up to her and was assisted. Not my first time this has happened here. read more

I was greeted warmly and advised of a promotion just launched today through the app. I found a gift set I wanted but requested something very specific. The associate asked her manager who said they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. The associate made another great suggestion to help me out. Ultimately, I asked approached the manager and she met my request with a smile. Shopping is not therapy for me so when I find something I like, I've got to have it. Bath and Body Works is our favorite store to buy wonderful scented products for the home and body! Specifically, we have always seen Amalia, and sometime she has checked us out. Today I took my daughter to bath & body works. With all the sales and coupons it was a no brainer and good deal. Sales all over the store and my daughter got plenty of what she wanted. All plenty for men. I recommend the this store as the lines are always short. Store associates are friendly and always eager to help. I give this store 5 stars. read more

This was my second time coming into this store, the first time I had a great experience, everyone was friendly and helpful. However this time I was unfortunate enough to have a girl named Giselle ring me up. I was with my son and 2 of my friends. We had asked her to scan my rewards app with our separate purchases, she gave us nothing but rude attitude telling us she's "not allowed to scan it multiple times." I had tried to explain to her that no one has told me that before and that I have had other employees scan my app multiple times for me before. With it being just past Christmas, I had shopped at bath and body works MANY times with no problems before. Giselle kept rudely implying that she can't do that, that ALL of the previous employees, this store, and other stores, were NOT allowed to scan my app more than once. Plain and simple, nice people but I'm finishing off my supply of Bath and Body Works stuff, and I won't be buying anymore of them. Their body cream just isn't enough to keep on skin moist throughout the day, and I don't ever have dry skin. The body cream wears because clothes leaving my legs dry. So it's not the shop that I'm rating. The shop is wonderful with everything that a Bath and Body Work patron would love. This is my second favorite Bath and Body Works. I love that it is stand-alone and not inside a big mall. Parking wasn't terrible outside and I was greeted right away. I had a HUGE haul for Mother's Day and they offered coupons and double-bagged everything. They also helped me to find a scent I was looking for, but couldn't find. I love coming here! read more

Our visit today reminded me why I haven't been to bath and body in 10 years!!! Women at the register have the worst attitudes!! I know it's the holidays but can you at least smile?!?!? The lady that tendered our purchase was so soft spoken we had strain to hear her!! Then she had no personality!! We were easy!! No small conversation!! Then she didn't know where the gift cards and seemed put out when we asked for an envelope!! I thought that was customary!!! I won't be back!! Came in with a friend on Wednesday (6/1/16) around 7ish looking to get some candles. No one was in the store besides two associates who were busy chit chatting. Made eye contact but was never greeted not told about current promotions. Was literally the only customers there and it went till a good 7-8 minutes one of them decided to stop their important conversation to say "hello" and went back to talking to the other associate. Thought to myself umm ok and told my friend lets go! Work on acknowledging customers and keep the side talk to a minimum especially if customers are present. You need to retrain those to about customer service. read more

I want to acknowledge an employee named Colleen who really helped me today. As the entered the store she was quick to greet with a warm smile and asked if I needed help. I told her what I was looking for and she prompted me to that spot that I knew would've taken me a little while to find. As I continued to browse the store she checked up on me a few times to make sure that I was doing great and if I had any questions. Dora is AWESOME!!!! She has thee BEST customer service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly 'Hello' and if there was anything in particular I was looking for. She asked the type of scents I like and gave me a couple of scent to try. Not only does she know here scents, her up sale is amazing. I had zero intentions of buying any wallflowers(didn't think the scents would be strong enough) but she guaranteed if they didn't work to my liking I could exchange any of their products no questions asked. Came in for Semi annual sale.. Was greeted by a very nice female, didn't seem snooty or in a hurry to rush off. I couldn't think of the name of the spray all I said was "its blue and smelled amazing and was on sale last Semi sale" she somehow knew what it was and reunited me:) A girl walked in and dropped off an app, very unprofessional like, I commented to tell manager no way and the girl who had been helping me was the manager and I never knew! I'm am standing in line OUTSIDE of BBW because they are not letting people in. 8 people have come out and they haven't let anyone else in. When the women working the door was asked why, she said that the line helps attract business. Well, they are wrong. Many people have come by and have decided not to come in.
