Bath & Body Works was a quick stop for me while waiting for our table at Yard House. The store felt a bit smaller than other locations I've visited, but it still had a solid selection to browse. My boyfriend redeemed his birthday freebie after picking up a few sanitizers, and he grabbed me a cute sanitizer holder to clip to my keychains -- super practical and adorable! We weren't in the store long, and our only interactions with employees were at the checkout and with the group that greeted us by the door. Corinna. This girl was having a bad day and we paid for it. We walked in and were greeted right away by two sales people. Polite, smiling, offering help but we were there for the soap sale. Of course we looked around and the two up front offered help. We selected our items and went to the cashier. We were met with Corrina. Sour face. Could care less we were there. Barely said hello. I asked about an item and was met with a flat 'yeah, they are all on sale'. Never asked if we needed validation for parking (and I did and didn't get it), never asked if found every thing alright. This girl was so rude and dismissive we just left the store fast. I did stop to ask the other two employees if Corrina was having a bad day. I said to be nice to her, she seemed like something was wrong. Sadly, we will stick to the location at the mall. read more

The Pasadena location of Bath and Body Works did not follow official exchange policy posted on official Bath & Body Works website. (Please see attached screen shot of official site for reference.) I also happen to have access to internal sale associates training information. Per official training memos, floor staff is supposed to have specifically been trained for these exact scenarios in the past week(s). This branch has failed to comply with corporate-set policies. Now, the specific details: In store, instead of offering a gift "even exchange" based on ticket price of merchandise, the sales associate at the register forced the patron to obtain a refund at lowest sales price. This is not the correct course of action. (Again, please reference the attached image for supporting evidence.) When inquired about the specific policy posted on website, the personnel simply answered, "The policy has changed. Everything, regarding exchange and refund, will reflect sales price, not ticket price," albeit nicely. This is, however, NOT the official and correct stance of the parent company. It's becoming a problem that each store is following an arbitrary version of policy they choose to adhere to. There is no longer any standard and consistency across the brand. It has undoubtedly affected customer satisfaction in recent history, especially among the frequent and outrageous price hikes occurring in the past couple of years. In this specific store and specific incident, every staff member interacted was polite enough. Ultimately, a merchandise credit refund was issued and accepted. And the incident reached its unceremonious conclusion. However, due to lack of training and erroneous procedures performed, I will no longer recommend this store for others to make any purchases. As they say, speak with your wallet. Take your business to another location that honors the policies accurately and faithfully. If you, however, simply need to do any sort of refund, this store is still a perfectly good option. You will be offered your receipt-based monetary amount, or if you don't have a proof of purchase, then the lowest sales price in recent history. And hey, at least the store still smells nice. read more

Not really a fan of Paseo Colorado but if you do find me here, its because I am here for Bath & Body Works. I dont want to drive all the way to the Westfield Santa Anita and it was closed for the longest time due to Covid19. Anyway, this location is nice because its not as crowded as any other locations I have been to. Less people these days is definitely a great idea. Plus, seems like the staff is taking a great cautious measure to keep everyone safe by having people line up outside the store and limiting number of people inside. Yes, it can take a little while for your turn to shop inside but this is absolutely necessary at times like now. I only had to wait about 10-15 minutes to go inside and I made sure to grab what I needed and walked out as fast as I can for others and also for myself. Hand sanitizers are no longer hard to find and plenty of various scents are available. I just bought a few 3 wick candles that I came for since they were on sale. The girls working here were amazingly helpful and they go out of their way to offer assistance to every customer who needs it. A little smaller than most stores, but they have a big selection, which gets the job done. The staff is kind and they also validate parking. This BBW is located in Pasadena's Paseo center. There is parking underground and the store will validate. This is a much smaller store so it definitely won't have as much stock as a mall location would. I've never really had any issue on finding anything I need in stock except in December when the Christmas candles come out. The employees are all super helpful. This is a nice location for BBW. We went into this location a few days ago, after downloading the app and seeing that there was another sale going on for lotions. Their men's collection of fragrances is really great. I like almost all of the different scents save for Teakwood and those coffee/leather scents. They also happened to have another sale on one-wick candles, just a few days after they have that yearly big candle sale. So I grabbed some candles and more lotions. Glad I got the app, because I can go on there and keep up with the sales. I have plenty of stuff now to last for a whole year, but these also make great Christmas gifts, especially if you know the scent profile your recipient likes and can catch those sales. Also, this time I tried the room deodorizers which really work well. The candles last a long time and fill up the room with good fragrances. Nah. I don't usually review these types or places bc they're pretty cookie cutter. Greet you when you walk in, ask if they can help, etc. I'm here w one star bc that was the EXACT opposite of what I got today. Had ordered online and a couple things to return. Knew the semi annual sales going on so I figured I'd browse. I don't buy here like I used to after switching to handmade, organic washes, soaps, creams, etc. But they still carry a few things I enjoy, so I figured I'd stop by. I'm HUGE on customer service. It's the biggest thing that sets a place apart, besides an amazing product. No surprises here so customer service should be routine. NOT TODAY! Talk about phoning it in!!! I walk in, no one acknowledges me. There's 3 employees to the left, talking amongst themselves. Ok. I start browsing, still no one breaks from what they're doing to speak. I see some of the employees w the navy mesh shopping bags. I go to the back to look for them. I'm normally asked if I want a bag when I pick up one or two things. I had about 5 in my hand and went to ask for a bag. Brenda said they don't have them anymore but give shopping bags. Most would say here, and open the bag. NOT TODAY! I had to ask if I could have one, like that's your main job!!! Finally go to check out. Candice was on register. Asks who's helping me. I say no one. In fact it's the worst experience I've had in the store. She replies, ok. No, it's nowhere near ok!!! I returned something sent to me with no lid. She apologized for that, so clearly she knows the words! I'm becoming increasingly agitated and ask for a manager. Julissa (one of the girls who ignored me coming in) comes back. I tell her the service is off today and tell her my experience. She literally gave zero f**ks! She was so flippant and apathetic. I get it, you're not paid great, you probably go to school or are trying to better your life outside of this, but it was total disregard. I'm trying to let you know, as a customer. When I'm dismissed it's infuriating. I know none of them care for the aforementioned reasons but it def makes me think about returning to this location I've otherwise been good with. Came to this location today. They're having their semi annual sale so I had to cop some items especially when Fathers Day is tomorrow . Let me start off by saying that this location is in The Paseo. There is plenty of parking but I highly suggest coming in the morning because it's not as busy & packed. Make sure to bring in your parking ticket because Bath & Body Work validates. I was greeted right away once I walked in. Their signs regarding masks to enter was misleading. It stated that a mask must be worn to enter. I asked one of the staff if masks are required and she said it's optional for those who have been vaccinated. So if you're vaccinated and feel comfortable not wearing a mask, now you can smell all the scents of their products. I sure did! Everything here was very well organized. Every turn I took there were staff ready to answer any questions. I like this location a lot and will continue to come here. The staff are always so welcoming and helpful. read more

One of my favorite stores especially for last minute gifts. They always seem to have some kind of sale going on. I frequently get emails with coupons and coupons in the mail which I love. This location seems less busy than the one in the Glendale Galleria. It's also smaller than the Glendale location, but I am always able to locate what I need. This place is neat and organized. The Bath & Body Works that's located in the Pasadena Paseo is worthy of a 4 star review. The store is organized, clean, well staffed, and has a good assortment of bath, body, and home scents, fragrances and other hygiene materials. The bath and body products have definitely increased in prices as well as changed their signature scents since buying them years ago. Gone are the days of $8.50 lotions and shower gels and gone are the days of Country Apple and Cucumber Melon. Even so, this is still a great place to stock up on loads holiday and birthday gifts for the men and women in your life. I'm getting stocking stuffers from this place as well. They usually have some great holiday sales, so be on the lookout for newsletters online. Parking is convenient here. 2014 YELP 100 CHALLENGE - 85/100 Really nice and big Bath & Body Works! My friend and I just happened to stop by here the other day for the first time to walk off the food babies we got at YELP PROM that night! This B&BW is really big! There are tables EVERYWHERE with products and the space is both wide and also pretty deep (TWSS...heh). My friend and I automatically gravitated towards the Sweets Shop collection that is out right now -- might just be my FAVORITE collection so far! I think we went in RIGHT when they were closing because we were probably the only customers in there. However they still let us browse and opened the front gate back up for us to leave. As we were leaving, more customers walked by and were like, "Oh, are you guys closed already?" *sadface*. The guy who let us out hesitated for a sec, and then he was like, "Nah, you guys can come in" and let them in! I'm starting to feel like Bath & Body Works is getting... boring. Went in there today to see if there were any possible gifts -- but yet... ehhhh... I'd seen it all before... and I'm sure everyone who may receive said possible gift had gotten it all before. Okay -- so, despite that, this store is a little smaller than some of the other ones (Arcadia is a flagship store). It still has the same smell wafting out of the doors, so when you walk by, you think, "wow, that smells good, I want to smell like that!" and then you go in and the determination is lost.. I have a hard time justifying spending $10+ on body wash... unless it's on sale. I am still in disbelief with the Black Friday deals. I literally bought five of their large candles for $54 and I am the happiest camper because I bought four of the holiday Party Girl scents AND the Buttercream Mint candle. THEY SMELL SO GOOD! I can honestly say I had a pleasant experience this year with Black Friday and this deal topped it off!
