I did not know this location existed. We came here since we were in the area and it's by far, the most peaceful Bath & Body Works I've been to. The parking is easy, it's in a shopping center, away from the crowd and it's really clean and nice! No crazy lines, fully stocked and organized. Would recommend visiting this store versus one attached to a mall. read more

I took my time & sampled a few more scents, bought a few 3 wick candles, a couple more lotions & availed myself to a couple of lip balms/tints that cost only $1.99 due to the promos. I am a happy camper. Staff a little more friendly compared to last time & I waited only a few minutes in line. All in all, a pretty good experience. I had a bad experience buying a new Wallflower fragrance at Terra Vista location and told THERESA the MANAGER at COLONIES location...she asked why didn't I return for exchange(?) ....anyhow she took her busy time to walk me through some fragrances I would LOVE and, well, it was professional and delightful! This location is always a bit of a hit or miss, starting with the greeting at the front door. Most of the time, it's a pleasant experience -- especially when Marlene is there. She's consistently warm, kind, and professional. I wish she were always at the front or register because she truly represents the brand well. During my most recent visit, though, I had a disappointing experience that left a bad impression. My niece, who was visiting from college, and I came in to grab a few things before she headed back. After shopping, we got in line -- two registers open, two customers being helped, and no one else waiting but us. When one cashier, April, finished with her customer, she said, "I can help who's next." My niece and I were clearly next in line and started to move forward -- but April shifted her attention to a white woman who had just walked up into the second line after us. The woman mumbled something to her from that line, and April immediately chose to help her instead. Regardless of what the woman said, that wasn't handled fairly. We'd been waiting patiently, and it was very clear who was next. Watching April bypass us for someone who had just arrived -- especially when it involved a racial difference -- felt dismissive and uncomfortable. She didn't look our way afterward, which told me she knew it wasn't right. It wasn't the woman's job to do what was right, her concern was HER and she knew she wasn't next, but April did and THAT is the issue. I plan to reach out to corporate because this isn't about impatience -- it's about fairness and equal treatment. This stores customer service is horrible. I am a business owner and I would be embarrassed if my employees treated customer like this store does. I purchased over $500 of product prior to Christmas and didn't need a few items, so I returned. It took 30 mins. For the cashier to get the return correct and then tried to refund on a gift card. The cashier struggled and seemed confused as to why I wouldn't take a gift card, for something I purchased with my cc last week and had a receipt. I asked for a manager to fix the transaction. The manager couldn't be less interested and seemed irritated that I would dare ask for assistance. Once she figured it out, she told the cashier how to fix the problem. He went back to work on the return and ran into a new problem. He called over another employee who figured it out. When we were done, I thanked her, even though she should've thanked me. She didn't acknowledge me and just turned away. As I was standing waiting for the cashier to finish my return, none of the other 5 employees stepped up to help other customers. The line built up to more than 10 customers before the other employees, who were walking around the store finally stepped in. read more

These associates are RUDE! I walked in to get a few items that were on promo. My granddaughter and I had to search for the items ourselves, despite a few workers being present...because they were busy talking amongst themselves. I finally got someone's attention, only to find out they were sold out. I told my granddaughter that we would have to leave and go to another store, but asked the associate before we left if she could call a few stores to see if anyone had the items in stock. She let me know "that's not what we do." Apparently, by the looks of it, they don't do much. read more

A tiny little "standalone" branch of Bath & Body Works in a shopping plaza in Upland. Due to the actual location, it was a bit hard to find via my GPS. Probably didn't help in the darker environment of the night. During day time, however, you can see the BBW word logo quite clearly (a lot easily) as you drive by. Parking area is shared among many businesses, but there are plenty of spaces available, so this shouldn't be a big problem... SANS THE HOLIDAY SEASONS! Do your holiday shopping early, if you can, people. Once inside, a quick survey tells me this is a store of medium size. It's got pretty much everything you would probably need, but don't expect a fuller and more extensive inventory like bigger stores. My ex was able to experiment with some new Men's Line products, (shout out to the Canyon scent!) and I pretty much found all the candles scents I wanted that day. So it was a good trip. I believe I bought a total of 12-14 lotions as presents during a lotion sale, and the cashier, who was probably a seasonal hire, acted with professionalism and cordiality. Purchase process was smooth and took an appropriate amount of time, which was prompt. Each glass bottle of lotion was wrapped in tissue paper to prevent accidental breakage. I appreciated that. I also really enjoy the red and green, winter and holidays-inspired bottles they come in. And at the lotion sale's discounted pricing, they most certainly make luxurious looking, and yet affordable gifting options! Furthermore, in the same visit, I exchanged two jar candles (brand new, unused) with my original receipt without problem. The (same) sales associate did not give me a hard time or a lecture about exchanging merchandise bought over 6 months ago, which was both 1) nice and 2) expected since it's well covered by BBW's official exchange and refund policy. For that, I am so thankful, since the branch in Arcadia acted the exact opposite. Gosh, the Arcadia location really made my naughty this year. (A little X'mas humor there.) Well, once again, another glowing review of Bath and body Works in Upland. I bought a candle online and I burned it for two days a few hours each day. The next day I lit the candle, and it went out, would not stay lit. I brought it back to the store today to exchange it And I was told that I had significantly burned it so I could not exchange it. I said even though it won't stay lit? I'm not lying the candle does not work. She didn't want to hear it like I was trying to steal something so I told her to throw it away in front, all of her Christmas shopping customers. Unreal how greedy these people can be when I spend hundreds of dollars at a time buying candles. Normally they are fine but this one would not stay lit and somehow this is my fault? Strike three on this Bath and body Works. They suck. UPDATE: your corporate contacted me and guess what? They have already shipped my replacement candle with no questions asked. Now that is customer service out of the 13 candles I bought, one didn't work. They didn't need to hear the whole story after looking at my receipt. Had the worst customer service the other day! One "manager" had no experience another was old and grumpy while trying not to honor BATH AND BODY WORKS actual promotions and app rewards!! I have never had a bad experience all these years but that left a unpleasant feeling walking out. I will more likely go to the Rancho location or the Mills...I think they need to bring more seasoned experienced personnel to help or teach this location? read more
