I finally found an awesome lighthouse paint by numbers that I snagged for my sister in law. Though it was a bit pricey, I felt good supporting a local business vs Michaels. While I was shopping I could hear the owner on the phone with a customer assisting them and not rushing to get them to hang up which is very nice. Once I checked out she offered to wrap it for me with no extra charge. I thought it was such a special touch. She also has an adorable dog that was behind the counter who was a friendly old lady. As an animal lover this is always bonus points in my life. It seems as she hosts some type of events, has some space in the back not sure if it's for crafts? But worth checking out! The beauty counters were attractively set up and there was plenty of help on the sales floor. I went over to the Lancome counter since I was getting low on some of the products that I usually buy from that company. The saleslady was very helpful and got me the cleanser and eye cream that I was looking to buy. I am happy with the service that I received and look forward to frequenting this Nordstrom store again.

I also liked that they allowed me to choose which free samples I'd like when checking out (the last place I visited, stuff was simply thrown into my bag on the assumption it was items of interest to me).

I started off with 1 product which is the oil eliminator and now I own 5 wonderful facial products. Amy & Monica have been very helpful whenever I am visiting. They took the time to listen to what I need and showed me what to get. Those girls never once tried to up sell nor put the pressure on me to purchase their products. They are very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. It's rare to find a store with the type of hospitality those girls have offered. That is the main reason why I keep coming back to here!

Cashier told the manager "these are all ringing up a penny." Manager told him unfortunately he has to sell to me, then proceeded to berate me in front of 2 lines of customers, saying "Oh, you're one of those Penny Queens. This store is notorious for penny shoppers like you. Well, I'm the new manager now, and that's going to change now that I'm in charge." I told her I guess they'd rather have perfectly good product sitting in a landfill. I let her know that I donate all the items I find for a penny, asked if the store does the same or whether they toss it. She claims she herself donates to veterans. I said GREAT! Not sure why she took issue with me donating perfectly good product to my local women's shelters and food pantry. The female was taking her time and saying no I don't like that one OH I LOVE THAT ONE. I asked if I could leave my dollar on the counter with tax and clerk said NO! I asked if she was going to blow up all thos balloons before she waited on the people in front of me and she said NO I WILL RUN YOU THOUGH first. The female came up to me and SAID I AM FIRST IN LINE NOT YOU SO WAIT YOUR TURN! I put my dollar item down and left and said to the 3 elderly people in front of me, sorry I tried to help. I will never go back to that store. As there is no customer service or ethics.

A worker started following him around, saying don't touch that ball, and said " I wanna smack him" to someone else. The worker picked up a toy nerf gun that wasn't in a box, held it in his hands as one would hold a nerf gun and moved it from one area to another while following my son around. Then said "do you want to leave the store" and my son said no and he took the ball from him. My son told me after I drove away, I feel he targeted my son for bouncing a ball and picked up the nerf gun to almost intimidate him. If you are a mom and you think your child is safe browsing around, while you shop, be extra careful of this worker.
