So it was a nice surprise to find Nocturnal Rose collection items. Smells like a Smokey Rose (Black Pepper, Wild Rose, and Cedarwood). Hope this becomes a regular fragrance in the Men's Collection. Just want to give props to BBW, I had an order of flower wall scents that the fulfillment just tossed in a box, so many showed up damaged, the customer service was great, replaced the ones that had leaked and no issues. This is the customer service and company that I can support. Issues happen, but how a company takes care of a customer, that says it all. Also, the BBW and the Tracy and Manteca CA locations are always awesome when I go in. Great in person customer service too. read more

Staff was very friendly and we were greeted right away and explained the new shopping process with Covid 19 and the process for sampling. Store was clean and not really busy as this mall is not really busy either. BBW seemed to be the busiest store in the mall. Great experience overall in a clean and organized store. I'm so completely obsessed with BB&W I must have about 3 years supply of body wash, lotions and body mist but it still doesn't stop me from coming here at least once a month to stock up on their ''daily deals''. The staff are really nice here and always happy to help if you can't find something specific. My favorite items right now are the Nourishing Hand Lotion and Fragrance Mist which they often have on special every month or two - $2.50 for the lotion instead of $5 and $6 for the Mist instead of $14. In addition to the coupons they give me on every visit they an absolute bargain and I can't turn one of those down. Probably the best reason to come to the mall! read more

2 Stars due to Celina actually being helpful; the other two store associates - Kelsey & Rocio were perhaps the worst customer service reps I've encountered in quite sometime. Both associates were blatantly rude about my gift wrap request (pulling teeth). 2 customers were in line, 1 register was open and 3 total active store employees. However, I was rushed out of line because they were "too busy" (comments by Rocio) to wrap my gift. I kindly stood aside until the customers were taken care of, however I still experienced reluctance and snide mannerisms simply as a result of my request. I by no means come from a place of entitlement, and I ALWAYS speak to everyone with the upmost respect - and I expect that in return. B&BW is clearly advertising an awesome courtesy wrapping service to its customers. Management, please touch base with your staff at the West Valley Mall retail store location. Great customer service is a vital KPI. Also, after speaking with corporate, I was also informed that "yes, gift wrapping is per request, and should not be dismissed." Stopped here to grab a few things while I was in the mall. I got excited at the sale, but the shelves were a bit bare and the items I could find I wasn't really interested in. Found the scent I like and of course it wasn't on sale :( I spent 20 minutes or so walking around but ended up leaving empty handed. I smelled A LOT of stuff in that time and I have to say, I don't really care for a lot of the new stuff they are putting out. The sales girl was fine; gave me a bag but wasn't pushy. The Tracy Bath and Body Works is just not up to snuff. The store is well lighted and appears clean. Social distancing is practiced, with a limited number of people allowed into the store at a time. You are also informed at the door that in spite of the fact that you cannot sample many of the scents, at this the, there was a no-hassle return policy in place. Sadly, the people in the store seem to arbitrarily adhere to this rule, stating that "the computer" disallowed them, at times (depending on who was attempting the return), from refunding the consumer's funds, in spite of one seven days having passed, in spite of having a receipt and in spite of the products not being damaged in any way. Most, and likely all, know today that a debit card purchase (after three days) is the same as a cash purchase and that because the funds spent have left your bank and were put into the merchant's bank, a refund for such a purchase would be a cash refund. This fact seems to miss Shift Manager Sharon at the Tracy BBW. An interesting scenario that begs the question, why? And does the Tracy BBW deal with some patrons differently from others? Sadly, the unavoidable answer I was left with was "yes." No, you cannot smell or sample many items in the store at this time, of which you are told before entering the store. However, you are also cheerfully told that if you get something home, smell it and hate it, you are free to return it for a full refund. This would seem to assuage apprehensions, particularly for those unlike me who don't abhor mall shopping. But does this policy apply to all in the Tracy BBW? Why and under what circumstances might it not apply? And is this what we want our stores to look like? This question is an interesting question and one we were forced to look at in the Tracy BBW in 2021. This question becomes all the more interesting inasmuch as the Tracy BBW refused to process the return of one family member, but another family member presenting with an identical fact scenario was, indeed, able to return items and get her refund at the Manteca store which, presumably, had the same franchised computer system and software as the Tracy store. Who could venture a guess as to why, in spite of the supposed no-hassle return policy, there was such disparate treatment of the two family members making returns at the Tracy BBW as opposed to the Manteca location? Interesting is the fact that the two young women appear quite different racially, though very similar in every other regard. The long and the short is that the Tracy BBW seems to have issues that just may pop up in the sales associates, making the shopping experience of some less than favorable. Shift Manager Sharon was congenial when queried as to the lack of honoring BBW's policy and why it was not being meted out in the case of the Tracy shopper; however, she still refused to process the return and give the cash refund, as was requested. As of today the refund for the items purchased at the Tracy BBW still has not been completed. One young woman must go back to the store to swipe a credit card to get her return; the other young woman had her money returned to her, as was proper. read more

I had recently been doing a lot of my Bath and Body Works shopping online but after a recent trip to the mall, the fragrance wafting from the space caught my attention. I ventured over and I was super impressed with the way things are being run during Covid. There is a line that is formed outside the store (velvet rope) and the employees do the shopping for you. The staff were patient and made great recommendations. I've read other reviews speaking to the staffs professionalism but I've never had an issue here. All the employees are usually always very helpful, talk about specials and make me want to buy more! They wrap everything carefully and make sure my experience is pleasant. I hope this store stays afloat. Its my little happy place. read more

I love Bath and Body Works! Unfortunately, BBW Tracy misses the mark. Their customer service is awful. Especially their store manager. I wish I knew her name so I could Yelp Blast her. It seems like every time I go in the "new" girl checks me out. Who has a million questions for the Store B, I mean store manager. Who has to come down from her Bath and Body Work throne to help the lowly customer. Ugh! Pass...i'd much rather go to Pleasanton. This location remains one of my least favorite based on customer service. I visited a Bay Area location of bbw yesterday but forgot to ask for the complimentary gift bag for the gifts I purchased. I asked the girl at the counter for one she said only if I bought something from the Tracy location could I get a complimentary bag. I thought this was completely wrong especially considering I dropped $80 at bbw within the last week whether it was at this location or not (and I had bank statements to prove it). Another employee was more than happy to hand me the complimentary bags I asked for. Consistency is key. It literally costs nothing to be kind people! read more

Today I decided to shop at the store in my city. For the last three years I have been shopping at the Stoneridge Mall BBW due to the consistent lack of customer service at the Tracy location. Everytime time I have tried to shop there the staff has been rude and confrontational. I have called corporate reporting staff for refusing to follow company policies regarding promotions, lying to customers about company policies, blatant acts of discrimination and failing to honor coupons sent out from the company. I visited the store today trying to take advantage of the semi-annual sale and after spending a total of $70 I found myself arguing with the person checking me out and the assistant manager over whether or not I could have a bag. I am obviously a fan of BBW; however, I am not a fan of the shopping experience here. It is clear that although this location is listed as BBW the employees that are allowed to manage this store operate outside of store directives (I hope?) and treat this location as if they are the owner. I am a nurse who commutes to the bay area to work,it is unfortunate that I am unwilling to shop in my city due to a few individuals who I hope are misrepresenting the company. I urge BBW corporate to work hard to clean up this location and monitor it often so that this growing city will not have to go outside the area to have a great shopping experience. read more

Another BBW store in the valley! A place where you can experience sensory overload from all of the different fragrances. Make sure to check out the True Blue Spa line. Love how it totally moisturizes. The C.O. Bigelow line is also really cool too. But my fave? Henri Bendel of course! A little piece of New York City in the valley. ;) read more

I frequently shop at this location and the customer service is always great. They have a very helpful and attentive staff. I went to the shop yesterday to purchase some gifts and the three items I was looking for were all out of stock. I understand the summer fragrance being out of stock (although we still have a month and a half of summer left) but the White Jasmine that I went there specifically to purchase which was just released was in very low supply (and no fragrance mists available). I thought it'd be perfect as a bridal shower gift. Tried to buy the Rose collection too and that was also in low supply. Hopefully they'll begin stocking up on the more popular fragrances. read more

I haven't shopped Bath & Body Works much in the last few years so I don't know the drill, the scents, or the sale cycle. These days I stop in for gifts rather than sales and when dropping by for a housewarming candle, I found the store inviting and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Rather than smelling all the candles, I was given suggestions based on type of scent and recipient. It was a successful trip and pleasant experience. read more

The last time I went in I was on a hunt for a certain candle that is going away and Celia was such a big help in finding the last one in the store for me. I have had nothing but amazing customer service here. I shop once a month or so, the girls seem to remember me and always want to show me the new goods! I never leave empty handed. If an item is sold out, I leave my number with them and as soon as they get more in stock the put it aside and call me to come get it. I am crazy about the candles. 2 for $22 is a great deal and I almost always have a coupon. They put one in your bag for the future sales! I know my friends have to drag me out of this store, not everyone can handle all the smells at once. I can't get enough! Try the soaps too! They go on such a good deal and they smell so great! It makes you excited to wash your hands more often!!! You are missing out if you don't shop here! Go early in the week, they are usually still running the sale from the weekend and you can avoid the crowds! Kim is my favorite associate shes always recommending new scents that I would enjoy and she is on top of putting me on the call list for those scents that sell out so quick! The assistant managers are super nice too since I usually always run into one of them, they know what scents I like and give me the scoop on all the news fragrances coming out for the season.
