If you're in Bath and want a good brew, this odd the place to go. Haven't had a bad thing in here, service is usually really good. If the day is nice, see if you can sit on the patio and enjoy your ale with a bite of the river.

We came here for a large event. I wasn't drinking so I got an iced tea. And eventually I ordered food. They have a large upstairs and a patio that was nice for the most part. Service was a bit chaotic. We ordered our drinks and food at the station upstairs. And then when the food and drinks were ready, the person with the food was often not the person taking the order and had a hard time finding where the recipient was. Not sure if there was supposed to be a different delivery system. I paid $3 for a rather small, plain iced tea. And because I wanted more tea with my salad, I ended up paying another $3. I ordered a strawberry fields salad. It was ok. I appreciate the portion of chicken and the strawberries were ripe. It did fill me up so happy about the food.

We visited Bath Brewing a few weeks back and it was a great experience. Our server, I believe her name was Brighid, was a rockstar. She was covering the whole main floor and the bar and was moving the entire time we were there. At the same time she was attentive and friendly. Most of our table got beer flights and really enjoyed all the beers. The favorites were the Traverse, the Bath Pale ale and the Special, Momotaro, blended farmhouse ale w/ peaches. YUM! We ordered the House Made Beer Bread which came with soda bread. The Beer cheese was one of the best beer cheese I've ever had and I'm a beer cheese fan! Even after we were out of bread we were dipping other things in the last bits of beer cheeses, french fries, putting some on the sliders etc. . . 10 out of 10. As I mentioned we got a bunch of other items, all which were very yummy and recommended; fish tacos, sundry sliders, fish and chips (with a huge piece of fish), wings and the cajun fried cauliflower. If I lived in Maine I would make Bath Brewing a regular stop!

Wonderful spot in Bath! Staff is so friendly and accommodated all my food asks. There was live music on the second floor that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious and beer was enjoyable. The buffalo fries were such a treat and I enjoyed my banh mi burger! Not a ton of banh mi flavor but it was still good. We were able to sub out the chips for the house salad and that Lilikoi vinegarette was DELICIOUS.

Stopped in yesterday after a short hike. It was a beautiful day so I chose to sit at a window facing the street. Not a good idea on a really sunny afternoon. It was hot even when I turned toward the bar and out of the direct sun. I'll pick a different seat next time. (100% on me, obviously) Nice local beer selections but I picked a Pinot instead. It too was good. I ordered two apps for my lunch. The ginger chicken skewers were perfect to pair with a small salad. The salad greens were very fresh.

Why a great little brewery. I stumbled across Bath Brewing by chance as I was passing through town. I arrived around lunch and had a flight and the crab and artichoke dip. The beers were great, as was the food. The bartender was also helpful and friendly. My flight included the following, which I'm listing in order favorites: Sea Trial Cream Grateful Red Bath Pale Ale Danger Zone I don't know when I'll be back in Bath again but this is spot is a great reason to return.

    Burned corn bread

HUGE disappointment. I called in an order and wasn't even sure that I was calling the restaurant because when the phone was answered, it was answered with Simply a gruff "hello ". I had to ask the person answering the phone if I was calling the restaurant. After I placed my order, I asked how long before it would be done and the person told me "soon ". I had to ask her to actually define what soon means. Not acceptable. I'm staying at the hotel across the street and arrived at the door to the restaurant at the exact moment they had told me the food would be ready. It was sitting on the counter. GREAT! But, no ...It took over 10 minutes before somebody came and helped the girl, learn how to use the cash register So that she could cash me out. I walked back to my hotel with the food. When I opened it, it looked like it had been dropped on the floor and jumbled around the container. The corn bread was burned and the cheese on the poutine had cooled to the point of solid cheese. AND they gave me no utensils. So now I have cold food and no way to eat it. I will not recommend this place to anybody unless they want cold food that isn't necessarily the tastiest. So disappointed.

It was my first try here on Friday night in December when the whole town seemed to be walking around after work engaged in local Christmas events. Inside, the brewery decor was fresh, clean and modern- in a very old brick building along the pedestrian friendly main street. High ceiling and big street side windows give it an open feel. To their great credit, the beer selection was not exclusively IPA s and sours. I especially liked the What the ..Helles, a light German style beer that hit the style right on. Flavorful and interesting. The pale ale was also great. I ordered fish and chips except with salad instead of fries, which they accommodated happily. Beer batter style fried fish, which is not my favorite, was still tasty. The starter sauce had dill - not so traditional! Salad was fresh and the greens were great, but in classic NE style you get lettuce cucumbers shredded carrots and truly flavorless tomatos:-) - if I had one suggestion it would be to invest in some decent tomatos, and the second to tone down the super sweet vinaigrette. The Cole slaw tho was excellent. And the burger that went by will be my next order. One TV at the end of the bar had the world cup on with the sound off, and didn't overwhelm the vibe. Lots of locals at the bar after work, a long high table in the middle and another across the windows, a few booths, and upstairs tables. All on all, great beer and well executed pub fare. And a dolla r off already reasonably priced beers for happy hour, with wine and limited spirits also available.

Our Pesto Caprese With Chicken sandwich was more than enough for two hungry people: Delicious, visually appealing, and arrived quickly. We included two on-tap beers with our order (P3, Hazy IPA) that were also delicious and poured ASAP when we placed our food order. There is ample parking and lots (and lots) of outdoor seating (some of it covered for Sun protection and for cooling off.) There was a misting fan running, too. Service was very hospitable, and no long lines for food or beverages. The cost of eating and drinking here (on a special event day no less) was very welcoming: Our tab surprised me, and I more than made it up on the gratuity (which I hope you do, too.) These people are working hard, and some of them are in front of a blazing pizza oven. My only regret: I forgot to purchase beer to take home. I will remedy this shortly.

Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

I took my wife and daughters here for cocktails to celebrate the holiday weekend. Despite a restaurant/bar that was fairly empty, it was impossible to get any member of the staff to acknowledge we were there. Once served, the drinks were excellent but it would be a very long time before anyone returned. Despite all four of us sitting with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes, the bartender and other wait staff or employees walked by us without even making eye contact. It almost became comical how we were being ignored. It didn't even seem like they were understaffed since we saw quite a few employees walking around endlessly but not seeming to accomplish anything... especially since the establishment was basically empty by the end. The final straw was when a lady who appeared to be an owner or manager arrived behind the bar. She walked by our empty drinks to have the bartender pour her a large shot of tequila (?) with a lime and down it in front of us and then proceed to chat with other employees who were doing nothing. When we finally paid our check and got up to leave, she looked at us and said something like, "thanks for coming, have a nice night!" Truly baffling. I have heard the food is good but I am having a hard time thinking of why I would put myself through that experience again.

I enjoyed the meal more than on the previous visit. I mean, it feels like pub food in a way, but the wings were tasty and the onion rings thick and crunchy, which I prefer to the thinner type with soft batter. The quesadillas -- well, it is hard to make those memorable, but they were fine. The dipping sauces, well, they neither added nor detracted from the meal.
