For the past two years I drove around with a watch that needed a new battery, thinking that one day when I had some time I would take it to get fixed. When the battery in my other watch died, I knew it was time to bite the bullet and take them to get fixed. Less than ten minutes after entering, I walked out with two working watches with lifetime battery warrantees. They even set the watches to the correct time. AWESOME. If I had know it would be this fast/cheap/easy I wouldn't have waited TWO YEARS...I spent more time THINKING about getting my watches fixed than it took to ACTUALLY get them fixed! read more

So went there two days later and they replaced the charger port for free since they mis diagnosed it and replaced my iPhone 5s frame and under an hour for free do t remember the repair mans name but awesome place thanks guys read more

Horrible customer service experience. Manager was on the floor, but super annoyed to be bothered by customer of all things. Was fidgety and short with me, then went in the back where I overheard him say to his coworker "Where are you? Every time I try to get something done, I get interrupted." He came back out, and I apologized for interrupting him -- great opportunity to turn the situation around, but instead, he made it worse by saying "I just need to know why my employee is not out here!" I think he tried to be nicer but it may not be possible! Got my batteries (not even sure what I paid, was so mad) and got out of his way, won't ever go back. Glad he's not my boss! Ick. read more

My battery has been giving me issues for a few weeks. I had gone to both Auto Zone and O'Reilly's to check my battery and alternator. Though each place had helped me out by installing my wipers or tightening the battery connections, neither identified the problem or helped me fix it. Batteries Plus, however, not only confirmed I was not going crazy, I did in fact have a bad battery, but they replaced my battery for me without charging me the regular installation fee. I had an iphone 5s with a bad screen and a bad speaker. I took it in to get fixed and everything was fine until it died that evening and wouldn't restart. I took it back in and had a bad experience with one of the employees. It went through a big headache but since, that employee is gone, and the two younger guys working there are very sharp and took the time to do right by me. read more

I can't believe how helpful the staff is at this Batteries Plus! I purchased a car battery that has been great, but my old beater car has been draining it for some reason and not re-charging it. The people at Batt+ have helped me out more than once by installing a loaner battery while re-charging the one I bought. Poor Customer Service!!! Went to BP to get a battery for my laptop. There were 3 workers there. Worker 1 was occupied with a customer. Workers 2 and 3 were looking at a piece of paper and their computer screen. Worker 2 helped me, while worker 3 continued to look at the computer screen and piece of paper. As soon as worker 2 started helping me, the phone rang and he proceeded to discuss battery options with the caller for 5 minutes. The customer that was being helped by worker 1 even commented that I took the time to come in to be helped, but worker 2 devoted time to the caller despite me being there. Worker 1 finished with the customer and asked me if I was being helped. I told him that worker 2 was helping but left to answer the phone. He replied that "we have to answer the phone". Worker 3 was still looking at the computer and paper. Worker 2 came back to me and put a new battery in my laptop and it didn't work. He then told me "oh, it's not a battery problem". I told him it absolutely was a battery problem since my battery worked and the one he put in did not. I put the old battery in to show him. He seemed annoyed and then said "ok, kid". I told him I was not a kid and not to call me that again. He replied that he didn't say "kid", but just "ok". 2nd battery he found worked, I paid and I left and almost forgot the new battery. I probably should have left after I had waited 5 minutes and the guy called me "kid" (I'm 41 by the way). Just BAD ATTITUDES, BAD PRODUCTS, unreasonable policy and high prices at this store. The two employees that I encountered need to find another line of work in a secluded cubicle somewhere. Can't understand them on the phone and horrible attitudes and customer service in the store. The store would not warranty my Duracell car battery that is about two years old. They said you cannot leave a battery unused and expect to claim a warranty when it dies. This battery was in my daily driver from the day I bought it at this store. How "unused" is that? DEFECTIVE battery for sure and no hint of any effort of relief from these guys. DO NOT shop here and DO NOT buy a Duracell car battery. There are many other retailers in this business that will go the extra mile to try to remedy these types of situations. Support our other local businesses that care about their customers, products, reputation & customer service! Shame on you for not even trying to help. when they opened several years ago I thought GREAT, unfortunately as time and business goes on their service has declined seriously. I bought motorcycle battery about four years ago and it went bad but warranty was border line so I bought another one which also went bad in less than a year I sold the bike and bought another the new bike has a battery that is still in warranty but they need a day or so "check it out" (battery declared bad by 2 other businesses) one told me to go to batterys plus because of warranty. several times I had needed their service been met with less than good attitude I just ordered a new battery from someone else as I do not give a 3rd chance for BS service I will not be back read more

This store and its employees are a prime example of how customer service should be modeled around. I have never felt the need to actually go and write reviews, but there needs to be some recognition for the help that I received and hopefully they might see this. I went into batteries plus needing help with my laptop battery since it was no longer holding a charge. I called and asked if they could test my battery and they told me it would be no problem and to also bring my laptop and charger as well so they could make sure to find the proper solution. At the store I was greeted by a man named Chase? (Sadly no one there wore a name tag), He took my battery and put it on some machine to test it and while that was happening he tested my charger and port it goes into. That is where he found my problem. it was loose and was not properly charging my battery. Unfortunately that made my battery go bad over time. He could have left it there but was nice enough to point out a few computer repair places in the area. He also said that if they could fix it he would set aside a new battery for me and on top of that he informed me there is a $10 off coupon online for it!! I really did appreciate all his help and patience with me. I had plenty of questions and he had no problem trying to answer as much as he could for me. I asked him if there was any kind of way to recognize him for his help or if there was some kind of commission i could help him make but he said that they do not go for personal accolades like that and that they just appreciate people spreading the word about them and coming back. That will be happening for sure. If there is any way for Chase to get some recognition for this that is all I really want. Thank You!!!! Just a side note for anyone who has never been here just know that they alliterate have batteries for anything you could think of.. Stay away!!!!! I went in to have a watch battery replaced and it was a pain. They were unable to get the cover back on and worked on it for an hour. They waited for the owner to come in and worked on it and "think they got it on." I paid my almost $10 for it and went on my way. No more than 10 minutes later it popped off. I then had to take it to a jeweler to have it put back on and it cost me another $21.00 and another 20 minutes. We will never go back!!! read more

They botched the battery replacement in my iPhone twice -- two different techs. The first time left me with a working phone but with a battery that was not physically attached internally. It began to rattle inside the phone case within a day. The second attempt, to fix the non-adhering battery, left with the first problem fixed but with the home button on the phone almost non-operational. After living with that too long, I finally went to another phone repair shop. They easily fixed the problem and reported that whoever had opened the iPhone case before had slightly bent the pressure plate that pushes back against the home button (and gives that click feedback to the user). Two failed attempts to complete a seemingly simple battery replacement makes me think Batteries Plus stores have techs that either do not care or are improperly trained. In either even I'll never use Batteries Plus again for electronics "repair". read more

This place was awesome. After looking up the store location and hours (8AM opening on Mondays) I showed up on 12/26 a little after 8 AM to find a sign on the door: "Opening at 10AM 12/26". Oh man! However, Ron (owner/manager I believe), opened the door as I walked back to my car and asked how he could help. He allowed me to enter the store and helped me locate a laptop battery replacement, despite not being open. He had just arrived at the store himself (with his father who was visiting for the holidays) and without having a cash register or computer look up help available, found my battery and rang up my sale. When I apologized Ron said "Oh sir, please don't every apologize for being a customer." This man took the time to allow me a sale when he could have just ignored my standing outside. All this AND my laptop battery was $10 cheaper than Best Buy and Radio Shack. AWESOME service and experience. Please visit Ron and his store if the need is ever be. My elderly mother is confined to a wheel chair and the OEM batteries lasted about 2 years. We took the power pack to Batteries Plus and had them replace the 2 batteries in the power pack. The technician was a young kid and didn't seem to know what he was doing, but after an hour, we were on our way. The batteries lasted 3 months. So back I went for the warranty and had to leave the power pack over night, "for the manager to evaluate." The next day went back to batteries Plus and the manager hadn't looked at it yet. But, they ultimately said the batteries were bad and replaced them for free. However, also stated that the new batteries would not have a warranty extended on them. They inferred that we were doing something wrong and that something we did reduced the life of the wheel chair batteries. The new second set of batteries last 3 months. So before you jump to conclusions, the first OEM set lasted 2 years and the Batteries Plus wheel chair batteries lasted 3 months times two sets. I'm not sure why they would not last other than they are using low quality wheel chair batteries. I really want to stress that we do know how to care for wheel chair batteries and the OEM lasted 2 years! If you are dependent on your wheel chair batteries to work, do NOT get them from Batteries Plus, or whatever they changed their name to recently! read more

Have been going to B+ for a few years. They have batteries we need for everything from the home alarm backup to small electronics and everything in between. They even have the right batteries for my Roomba! They have all the different kinds of lightbulbs we need, too. They almost always have what we need in stock and are always helpful. They also have lots of handy "gadgets" and for families doing lots of gift shopping you can find all kinds of cool stuff here--that's actually useful and practical. B+ also recycles batteries and CF bulbs, so we don't have to fill up a bag in the garage to recycle once a year at the city recycling drive. Keep your neighbors (especially the useful ones) employed instead of shopping at the discounters that have no customer service (and no recycling services). These guys also cary quality products--not the cheap knock-offs that last 1/3 of the time. I'll pay double for something that lasts 3 or 4 times as long. I'm glad they're there. read more

I needed to replace a broken screen on my son's cell phone. I called a battery store closer to my house and was quoted $234, they explained that it was more expensive than most screens because on my phone the digitizer is attached to the screen and both parts have to be replaced. They don't keep the parts in stock so I have to go drop off my phone and pay for it THEN they'll get the parts and fix the phone. I don't know, there was something about them I didn't like, I decided to call around. Second phone call in search of a cell phone screen repair: Google led me here to Batteries Plus Bulbs. I checked out their website and saw that you could make a reservation for the phone repair (Yay!) and that they had the price on their website (Yay again!) and that they were significantly cheaper than the other place (Interstate Batteries at 1890 Ranch in Cedar Park). I called to find out why their price was so much cheaper, maybe that didn't include the digitizer that Interstate says is necessary to replace. Well, the man who answered the phone was so nice and so helpful. He explained that their price is just for the screen and that although the digitizer and the screen are attached, they can take them apart to replace the screen and then put it all back together without having to replace a part that isn't broken. He told me about how I could save $10 by scheduling the repair on line. Told me the best time to bring it in to be fixed. I didn't get his name but he was AWESOME!! I took the phone in the next day when he said to, after I'd made the reservation online. I dealt with Brad to drop off my phone and get it checked in. There was also a younger guy there, early twenties maybe who was possibly new and being trained. He was very nice and helpful right up to the point where Brad griped at him unnecessarily rather harshly right in front of us. All the kid had done was point out where something was on the phone and Brad clearly didn't appreciate the help. If you're new kid, good luck, Brad seems like he's going to be miserable to work with. I also heard Brad on the phone with someone when we came back to pick up our cell phone, he was rather rude and condescending to that person too. Their repair guy did a great job on our cell phone repair, I would definitely use them again. Although on any future returns to the store I will try to avoid Brad. read more

My iPhone 6 screen was broken so I took it here. Well the man sold me a hard plastic stick on screen after he fixed my screen. I noticed my phone was less sensitive but I figured it was due to the screen being replaced. Before he put on the extra screen protection he said it would work with my Lifeproof case. Oh no, it did not. I could barely swipe my screen when pressing as hard as I could . I took it out of the case and the extra screen cover still made me have to press hard on my phone . I had them take it off and could only get store credit . I researched my screen replacement and the Internet said I needed it to be repositioned due to the insensitivity and the fact that I couldn't have my Lifeproof case on because I couldn't type . Then I noticed my screen started making a funny sound when I pressed on it , the new screen was coming off . I could see the light underneath . Then the top broke and it cracked all the way down the middle AFTER I even got a case that protected the outsides . I'm obviously getting a new phone later but I spent about $170 here and have a credit of maybe $30 to buy batteries or light bulbs . I can't go back because I moved a week afterwards . read more

Rude people here let me tell you I waited in line for 20 minutes I was 2nd person in line all I needed was to have a watch battery put in which takes 5 minutes or less, Ive had it done at other battery plus locations many times with no problem after i waited for 20 min., in line they said we cant help you drop your watch off and come back later, i said why I waited my turn all I need is a battery put in my watch which is real quick to do this guy was so rude, Never go here take your business somewhere else, autozone or advanced auto parts has better service on installing car batteries and other places do watch batteries with no problem these people are idiots! read more

Was too lazy to go to the Domain Apple store to fix my screen. Went here. Mistake. The new screen they put in changed the tint on my screen. Then it turned yellow. Now it occasionally will just go black. Don't use for iphone repair. read more

Horrible experience! Went in to get my 18650 battery's re-wrapped....well they ruined both my battery's. They broke my insulator on one of my 18650's.....I allowed them to try and fix it. They came back with cardboard as an insulator on my battery! Extremely dangerous. Well I allowed them to try and fix the issue, and it just got worse. They told me they weren't willing to help me any further. I had to call Corporate to get this issue resolved. Thats when, I received a phone call from the owner of the store. Well lets just say he used extremely fowl language with me. The customer service was terrible, I had my 2 month old son in their with me while being cussed at. DO NOT COME HERE for anything. I was nothing but nice and willing to get the issue resolved in an easy manner, but no he had to slander me on the phone, and in front of my son. Not to mention they were going to give me extremely dangerous battery's without a second thought about it. They are rude, and obviously have no idea what they are doing. I've brought my iPhone 5c here for screen repair 3 different times within the past year. My screen cracked within a months time after each repair, without me dropping it, as well as having a good case and glass grade screen protectors on my screen. I recently went back to see if they would accommodate me by repairing my screen correctly and the young man who was helping me offered me $10 off another $90+ repair and told me that I was wrong about the quality of their repairs. He was not customer centered and did not communicate with me in a respectful manner. I've seen the employees work hard here, however I do NOT recommend spending hundreds of dollars (sometimes for only one repair) here. If you're able to, invest in apple care or with insurance if your phone company. It would be much more worth it than living my mistake of wasting nearly $300 at Bulbs & Batteries who do not adequately repair screens in a long lasting way. Decided to leave this review since a few friends have mentioned similar experiences here. read more
