I am happy about Batteries Plus record keeping. How often do you find having to replace something and you just can't find that receipt or warranty paper. The 12V Marine battery we brought to the store is dead. The storeclerk recognized the battery and after a few Q's and installed ID data into the store computer/POS it was quickly determined that, yes indeed that battery was from Batteries Plus and it can be easily replaced.... however... the warranty had expired by 3 months... Wow, all this information is in the database. We were happy for the service and we are now bringing home a completely new replacement battery with a warranty to November 2026. Batteries plus has many different options to help you get back on track. Whether you need a new battery for your watch or vehicle to a screen or battery replacement. Batteries Plus has it all. Or at least I thought so. Don't get me wrong, I've yet to see an attitude from any of the employees. They just don't have some simple batteries, or so I'm told. Three times I have been. Two I'm 100% satisfied. The other, partially satisfied. First time, a battery was needed for a key fob (not "touch to start" fob) just simple battery. In-and-out in 6 minutes top. Also wasn't expensive (maybe about $5 pre Covid). Satisfied. Second time. Watch batteries were needed. I was told by the specialist that they did not keep timed batteries in stock. Not sure the difference between timed battery and a watch battery, but the lack of stock for a battery place baffles me. No attitude, just not sure if it's laziness or not prepared. Last time. Phone screen replacement. Took about 40 minutes (ETA of 45-60 minutes was given). Once complete, inspection from the cashier was made in front of me and allowed me to inspect before paying or signing anything. The prices were also reasonable. Unlike other companies that charge $225-300 to change the screen, it only cost less than $150. They even left the film on the top of screen until I was able to get a screen protector. They said it's not much but it might give a small amount of protection. Guy was a little quiet but nice. So all-in-all. I would go back if I need to. NOTE: Just be advised, if you own an Apple iPhone, the screen may not be genuine. You will have a message pop up in settings and cannot be removed. It does work, but may void any warranties if you have any. If you own an older phone, this would work but may annoy any OCD people out there. Which is why I noted 3 stars but could be 4. read more

After getting my iphone battery replaced for the first time. It has been overheating white charging even when i'm not on it. It went bad after about 2 months and they put it a low-quality battery. Now it is bloating and the screen is coming off of my case. I don't recommend getting a battery replacement here because now I have to get a new battery in and my screen replaced. read more

I have been a good customer of this location for years, had my iPhone screen fixed there. Bought multiple batteries for all of my vehicles. Buy most of my batteries there. So let's get to how a very satisfied customer can give a review from 5 star to 1. I have a Honda Rubicon 500, and when the battery failed to hold a charge I went to this batteries plus and purchased the battery they recommended. Now a ATV battery has a hard life, but they last from 3 to 5 years on average. I bought a Duracell Ultra, because it has a warranty. 2 year. Was moving the ATV, seemed a little sluggish but it started. I went back to move it and nothing, and I mean dead. Grabbed the battery jump box, it clicked off immediately, the battery was a short. Thank god I did not try jumping this off something with no protection. Hey this thing is under warranty, from the place I have been buying all my batteries1! Lucky me, take the battery in and to my SHOCK was told that since it was under 10 volts they could not warranty it, But it shorted. It's dead, it's under warranty. Nope we will do nothing for you. Look at the screen, I and a great customer. Nope, it was abuse possibly. The battery is perfect, it's not abuse, something in this case failed. So buyer beware, Batteries Plus is just waiting to ignore your warranty no matter how good a customer you are! This is how you lose a good customer BP! By the way, the poor guy having to tell me this did his job well, your company failed! Update; The crazy was stopped and they replaced the battery. Much happier. This Batteries Plus Has the worst customer service. Bought a Motorcycle battery and it died. Put it on my battery charger and it would not charge so we took it in.They said their policy is to try and charge it first. They called the next day and said it was good. Took the bike to the Triumph dealership for a tire and they said the battery is dead. So Batteries Plus exchanged the battery. We took it to the Triumph dealership and they said the battery only had 6 volts.Went back Batteries Plus and they said they won't exchange it because they already exchanged & they need to try and charge it. Short story, IPhone 6, about six months old, under warranty battery dies. Phone is OFF and will not accept a charge. Contacted several APPLE authorized repair shops, not knowing BatteriesPLUS offered repair services for IPhones! Authorized service centers REQUIRED an appointments, days ahead to even look at the phone, BatteriesPLUS accepted a call right away, checked inventory and had an exact replacement battery in stock. Service fees were very reasonable! Amazingly, the Manager indicated they could replace the battery in about an hour ,(Great job!). Oh, APPLE service centers needed to send the phone to Apple and indicated it would take up to a MONTH, maybe longer due to the Virus.... BatteriesPLUS staff offered quick and amazing customer service, friendly and offered to help right away. Wife's phone is now fully repaired. As they say, happy wife, happy life! I cracked my screen on iPhone 10xr. Took it to batteries plus in Gainesville, March of 2020. Paid over 150.00 for repair. August of 2020 and within warranty time line my phone starts ( what they called ghost writing) sending text messages and pictures to contacts in my phone. Took it back to store to have screen replaced and then in December of this year, 4 months after last replacement, it starts the same thing again. Called store they said bring it in they would replace defective screen. When I arrived at the store I was informed that my 6 month warranty started on initial purchase date. Now they want me to pay another $160 to replace a defective screen that they installed and scratched the phone all the way around sides. Second time I've had bad experience at this store. Apparently, they assume they have a psychic link that tells them what my availability will be. Thankfully, I read the email before driving all the way over for nothing. Purchased multiple batteries here (car, motorcycle, central alarm, etc) and thought I would take advantage of new cell phone repair service. Run! They ordered a battery for me and I waited a week for it's arrival. Went by the store and they were bringing in a new shipment, found my battery listed on the Packing slip but could not find the battery. They said they would call the next day to follow up and they would overnight it the next day if they needed. Next day, nothing but crickets! I was told to go to Batteries Plus Bulbs because of their national reputation. Thankfully their corporate customer service is spot on, because their local store is definitely sub par. I took my iPhone 5 in for a battery replacement. While prying the battery out of my phone (in the incorrect direction) the tech destroyed the mechanism that controls the volume on the phone (as well as my home button and finally the lcd screen). They tried to give me my phone back at that point, as if it was ok to do so! Finally they admitted their error and said they would try to fix the phone...and would only charge me 1/2 price for the necessary parts. Are you kidding me? They broke my phone, but expect me to pay for the repair?????? No way. I was assured my phone would be mailed off asap, and today marks the 15th day without it. I have been told it was fixed in their Michigan facility, and en route to me now. I am only speaking with their corporate customer care employees as the guys at this store have zero idea what they are doing. A colleague called me over the weekend and said her granddaughter's phone went in for a battery replacement (same store) and she left with a broken home button. Zero stars isn't an option on here sadly. Took my phone here to get the screen replace and they did it the first time kinda. I brought it back in so they could fix their mistake. When I came back in later that day after dropping it off again. They said they have some bad news. It was more than bad news because they fried a wire in my phone and had it sent off to be fixed. I brought it in on a Friday and I'm assuming thats the day it was sent off. They told me it would be back around Thursday. I come back Thursday and its not there (big shocker...Sarcasm). Then I was told it would be there Monday. Today is Sunday and I've been without my phone for over a week not being able to easily communicate with my family or work.
