I normally don't have much luck with people at parts stores but Austin is very knowledgeable and is a great help.

I am happy about Batteries Plus record keeping. How often do you find having to replace something…read moreand you just can't find that receipt or warranty paper. The 12V Marine battery we brought to the store is dead. The storeclerk recognized the battery and after a few Q's and installed ID data into the store computer/POS it was quickly determined that, yes indeed that battery was from Batteries Plus and it can be easily replaced.... however... the warranty had expired by 3 months... Wow, all this information is in the database. We were happy for the service and we are now bringing home a completely new replacement battery with a warranty to November 2026. Batteries Plus continues to be a great source for our boating needs. Let's go fishing at Lake Lanier.

Batteries plus has many different options to help you get back on track. Whether you need a new…read morebattery for your watch or vehicle to a screen or battery replacement. Batteries Plus has it all. Or at least I thought so. Don't get me wrong, I've yet to see an attitude from any of the employees. They just don't have some simple batteries, or so I'm told. Three times I have been. Two I'm 100% satisfied. The other, partially satisfied. First time, a battery was needed for a key fob (not "touch to start" fob) just simple battery. In-and-out in 6 minutes top. Also wasn't expensive (maybe about $5 pre Covid). Satisfied. Second time. Watch batteries were needed. I was told by the specialist that they did not keep timed batteries in stock. Not sure the difference between timed battery and a watch battery, but the lack of stock for a battery place baffles me. No attitude, just not sure if it's laziness or not prepared. Last time. Phone screen replacement. Took about 40 minutes (ETA of 45-60 minutes was given). Once complete, inspection from the cashier was made in front of me and allowed me to inspect before paying or signing anything. The prices were also reasonable. Unlike other companies that charge $225-300 to change the screen, it only cost less than $150. They even left the film on the top of screen until I was able to get a screen protector. They said it's not much but it might give a small amount of protection. Guy was a little quiet but nice. So all-in-all. I would go back if I need to. NOTE: Just be advised, if you own an Apple iPhone, the screen may not be genuine. You will have a message pop up in settings and cannot be removed. It does work, but may void any warranties if you have any. If you own an older phone, this would work but may annoy any OCD people out there. Which is why I noted 3 stars but could be 4.

JAMES surpassed my expectations of a battery store. I had an urgent situation and was in need of a…read morebattery for my daughters Mercedes. I called to let them know she would be coming in and they had everything ready for her. James was knowledgeable and knew how to work with a foreign car. He changed out her battery and made sure there was no other underlying issues. He was kind and professional to my daughter and myself. A guy like him, that took all of my frantic questions, and completed this in record time should be acknowledged!!!

9 months ago, I left a 5-star review saying, "Knowledgeable and friendly staff ready to solve…read moreproblems to make the customer happy. I was happy when I left. Thanks!" But, today, with a dead battery, I have to change this rating to 2-stars and complain. They expect customers to somehow carry the dead battery back to their store where they say it can take anywhere from 24-48 hours for them to run tests to determine if the warranty claim will be honored. In my case, the warranty runs out in 3 more years, 2025. But, I am told by them NOT to get my vehicle jump started because that could interfere with their testing. Furthermore, they say that it would mean leaving my battery-less vehicle abandoned in their shopping center parking lot for 24-48 hours with no security. Since I have purchased vehicle batteries from other places and never run into such an arcane, inconvenient process to exercise the battery warranty for replacement, I feel I have no other choice but to write this as a warning to prospective customers. Do NOT buy a vehicle battery from here UNLESS you already have more than one vehicle. Because, if you only have one vehicle and their battery dies, it's not going to be easy to get a replacement. FYI, I also called the HQ of Batteries+ and they told me the same thing. In my opinion, this policy is designed to discourage customers from exercising their rights under the warranty and should be investigated by the proper authorities.

Awesome awesome job. I had three dead watches at home with three different size batteries. Couldn't…read morefind it at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, or Staples. I decided to go to this store as the one stop shop. Not only did I find all three batteries, they were offering a lifetime warranty on their parts and services for watch batteries for 15 bucks (I'm sure this is subject to change) - meaning any time your watch runs out of battery, you come in, and they replace it free of charge! So after getting a lifetime warranty on one watch, I replaced the second two batteries myself and saved ten bucks. We'll see how long the batteries last, I'm sure that warranty watch is the ultimate money saver in the end (assuming I don't lose my watch). The customer service was absolutely amazing. I came in, within 2 minutes, they asked if I needed help, it took me a while to find my battery size and they were finding it in 2 seconds flat, (it's like they memorized the locations of the batteries) then I asked a watch battery to be replaced, it took them 3 minutes to replace it. The service member was back before I could even browse one of the shelves! A+ service.

Although when she finished the install, she asked "does that look right?" ...& then her coworker responded with "I have no idea." ....not the confidence you want as a consumer. Additionally, it's kind of ridiculous that you would pay almost $300 for a battery, and then have to pay an additional fee for installation. Not only that, but they tripled the price of install installation because it's "hot out". I work outdoors, and it would be ludicrous to triple the price of what I do because it's summertime. That comes with the territory of doing a job. Save yourself time, and go somewhere else where your money will go further.
