Today and yesterday, I worked with Batteries Plus to get a new battery for my mobility scooter. Kendrik was so helpful! I went in there and told him the symptoms of my faulty batteries. I brought the batteries in, he measured their voltage and tested them. He also found You Tube videos of how to access and remove the old batteries. I would give zero stars if I could... horrible customer service and horrible communication. My phone was dropped and screen shattered, squaretrade (insurance for my phone) recommended just replacing the screen at this local repair shop. My husband called on a Friday night to see if the part was available and if they could hold it or order it and make an appointment to fix it. They said they didn't have it in stock but another store did so they could have it Sunday at the latest, but hopefully Saturday. We called back Saturday hoping it would be there and they said no it wasn't in stock so they would order from the manufacture and I would have it Monday or Tuesday. My husband gets a call from their store about an hour later letting us know our iPad was ready to be picked up, ummm we didn't drop off an iPad, they apologized for the mistake and said the screen for my phone would be in Tuesday once he explained the situation again. Already having a not so great feeling about this I call Monday night to verify that the screen for my phone, model verified for the 5th time, would be in Tuesday, they said yes and verified the model. Tuesday... walk into the store and they can't find my order and they don't have any on hand. Finally they find it, but they ordered the wrong part! It's for the older model of my phone, so the store manager who is hiding in the back and won't get off his a$$ to come talk to me and make this situation right tells his minion through their paper thin walls that I should try again tomorrow. Round of applause to the minion who said I'm just the messenger and in no way has any responsibility in the situation so I shouldn't be upset. My time is just as valuable as yours and taking time out of my day to deal with this stores continuous communication errors and lack of brain cells is ludicrous to say the least. Maybe I should send them a bill for the hours I missed at work or the time spent away from my family, or the miles, gas and wear and tear on my vehicle to return to your sad excuse for a store to hopefully have my phone repaired. *Final Result* Phone screen finally repaired after a week of run around and to no avail - they crack the back of my phone - I'll just keep my case on it at this point and upgrade it when the thing finally gives out. It's not worth the hassle of my time and energy any longer. read more

Today, they replaced a cracked screen on my iPad in four hours and when they were finished it was as good as new. Others I called would not repair it or wanted days to do it. After my car was not used for 5 days, the battery was completely dead. Since it was purchased 2 years ago in Roseville, I got a jump start and headed to Batteries Plus. I was promptly greeted upon arrival, and soon learned that the replacement battery needed was out of stock. A call to Folsom confirmed 2 units were at their location, so one battery was put on hold. Once in Folsom, I explained the situation and secured the battery on reserve. Aaron found my information in the system, and confirmed the warranty was still in affect. After load testing the faulty battery and verifying the purchase date, the battery was replaced and a warranty receipt was presented for future reference. Installation was thoroughly completed by Aaron, who provided exceptional service and was extremely personable. I was directed by the Greenback store to go there for my ipad battery. They nicely called ahead to see if the battery was in stock and if they had the technician on site replace it. When I got there after a frustrating ride I was told yes they had it and yes the technician was there but it is a two day job. After going to the Apple store and having an awful experience trying to get our batteries replaced, my mom and I decided to go to Batteries + Bulbs. Doug helped us and was so nice and helpful from start to finish. The replacement took an hour for both our phones, which is much better than the overnight replacement that Apple wanted to do. Although it is more expensive to get the battery replacement here, it was 100% worth it to not have to deal with the "geniuses" at Apple. Now our phones stay charged like they should! I contacted this company a couple of weeks ago about replacing the battery in my tablet. The person who took the call told me they would order the battery and give me a call. I called this morning to ask about the status of the order and was very put off by the response. The person who answered the phone demanded to know if they had called me and told me somewhat rudely that they would call me when the battery came in. He didn't ask me my name or even make a pretense about caring. I won't do business with companies that don't want my business or who lack the ability to be polite and responsive to customers. I had my cell phone repaired 3/3/19. My experience was unbelievable! My mistake was I didn't get the tall young male employee's name. So my son dropped my cell off for repairs, not sure exactly what happen between the service that was asked for and the time I picked up my cell. My son said I would rec'd a call letting me know when it was ready for pick up, just make sure you pay for it Mom. Okay... So we get the call, I go in to pick the cell up. I get my credit card out & he said it was paid for. I said how much was it? He showed me the invoice over $100.00+. I said no my son made it clear I needed to pay for this. He paid for it. Okay, I left still puzzled I call my son he tells me I paid for the part only. I call the store, I told him I just pick up my cell and my son only paid for the part. Please let me know If I have to go back I don't want it to be a issue for him and get anyone in trouble. He said well thanks for calling this has never happened to me. He honored the lifetime warranty on the cell phone battery ,even tho he couldn't find us in the system. Then he registered us in the system. So much more helpful than Greenback. After searching other businesses for my particular car battery this location had it in stock and the price was even something to smile over. I show up and a store associate Aaron greets me, tests my battery, answers all the questions I had without getting annoyed in the slightest. Once inside againi see the store is FULL of people. The phones were ringing almost non stop but both Aaron and his coworker were calm and collected working very well together to meet everyone's needs. Them Aaron met me around the back of the building and told me exactly what he was going to do and again answering all my questions without getting frustrated. He installed my new battery safely, quickly, professionally, and with a great attitude. I walked away with nothing to complain about. Top notch service from Aaron. More businesses need employees like this guy. And hats off to the business for being so competitive! They were near as makes no difference matching the price of Costco. But Costco only had a 2 yr warranty on there batteries where I got a 4 yr warranty. So if it's up to me I would absolutely continue to give this location my business. read more

NEVER GO TO BATTERIES PLUS MORE!!! I shattered my phone and took it there, which cost $180, when I picked it up the coloring on the phone looked super pale. When I asked the guy he just told me that he didn't see anything wrong with it. Then my phone started to freeze and turn off and half of the screen went black. I took it into apple to hopefully get a new screen and they told me that the third party (batteries plus bulbs) melted my battery and ruined the display. I had to buy a whole new iPhone which cost 400 dollars so I just wasted almost 600 dollars because of this place. Wish I could score it lower than 1 star. read more

They created a new plug-in electrical cord and tried four different times to make the lamp remain on. All their time and expertise effort for this lamp was free.
