My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone's battery was getting worn out and wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours before I had to recharge it. I made an online appointment to have them replace the internal battery. I'm an I.T. tech and when I googled the battery replacement procedure, it's something best left to a professional. It requires a heat gun to soften the factory glue that holds the back cover in place. Then several modules held by some tiny screws have to be removed to access the battery. Christine was the technician that replaced my battery. I found the price to be very reasonable and they took $10 off the bill because I booked the appointment online. I broke the glass on my iphone. I was worried because I use my phone to clock in and out of work. Batteries Plus replaced the glass on a same-day basis, for a reasonable price. I dropped the phone off and picked it up a few hours later. When I picked it up, I realized that this is the place to get the battery in your car's key fob replaced. One of my fobs needed a new battery and the other fob was fine. They tested both. I bought one new battery. They installed it. I would not try to install it myself because that's the way to break your fob. I asked and they said they can sell me a new car fob and program it. You need an appointment and you have to leave your car there. It's a good thing Starbucks is next door. The price for this is considerably cheaper than at the car dealer. The people who work here are helpful and friendly. I'm glad to know that they are there. read more

I needed a new battery for my lawn tractor and ordered one online for pickup from them. I came in with the core and was told the battery I ordered had the polarity reversed from the original one. This was a great catch on their part and they set me up with the correct battery. This was greatly appreciated as it saved me the time and frustration from having to return after finding out I ordered the wrong item. I went in at 9:30 the guy said he could have it fixed in a hour came back in only had to wait 10-15mintues for them to finish up. I went walking out by 11am a happy camper new phone screen only spent $110. Saved me a additional $90 on a new phone thru insurance. So I went to open my garage door and the battery was dead. I drove up to battery and bulbs on Santa Rosa Ave. I brought up the battery with me, and they replaced it with a pack of two. Upon going home, I put it in and the garage door opener worked, for two days, and then put the other battery in the garage door opener and it was dead. So I drove back to Santa Rosa the next day and told them my situation and they said they would give me one battery and I would have to buy the other one so I did. Drove back home put the battery in the garage door opener and it's still working. In the meantime, my other garage door opener went dead and I put the battery in it and the new battery was dead already. So in my frustration I went on Amazon for half the price God for Duracell batteries and at this point they work very well. So if you go to batteries and bulbs, make sure they test the batteries before they sell them to you and how much life they have left. They will help you install the batteries in to whatever you have need of so on there customer service I give them an A+. But on their batteries it's very questionable. If you have a battery, that's not a normal size be careful they might have an out lasted their life. read more

This is such a wonderful store with all kinds of batteries, bulbs. phone accessories, they even have a generator and will repair your phone and put batteries on your watch. They also have LED lamp bulbs and kitchen lights that you can put under your cabinet and brighten up your stove or countertops. I have gone there a few times. It's decent service-wise. When I was in there awhile ago, I saw they did watch batteries for $11 total--installed. Not a bad deal. A fraction of the mall's price. So a few days later I brought in a watch. They replaced the battery. Yep. $11. Decent job too. Then I bought my other watch in a few days later. They couldn't replace it for some reason. That was okay, but both times I brought my watch (the first watch and second watch) in there, they were so unhappy and rude, and complaint they entire time. And they are common watches--nothing special or anything. They were complaining the entire time, and acting like they were doing me a favor. It was very uncomfortable. Need a specialty battery.....come here! Need some awesome LED's. Be sure and stop by! My kitchen light went out above the sink. It was an odd looking bulb and was the original light since we moved into the house. The watt of the old bulb had become so faded that I couldnt read it anymore. But the super ninji senior citizen employee was able to help me track down what I needed. I kindcof wantedto adopt him at the same time as my grandpa because he was that cute! So far worst service !!! Want a horror story. Phone screen cracked. Made appointment on a Monday Morning for same day. $10 off since making an appointment or so the ad on their website said. Show up for appointment and am told they don't have the screen , they have to overnight it. No big deal. Day two , show up for appointment. They fix the phone, and charge me. Should have been end of story. Upon looking over the receipt after I returned home I noticed they did not give me $10 off. No big deal I try to ignore that it was probably a mistake. Few hours later I notice separation of the back plate of my phone from the frame. Obviously the adhesive they used was not good or not meant for this material. Day three. I show up rather mad about the $10 and the phone. They give me $10 back and fix the back saying it is a simple fix and that the adhesive just needs to settle. So I literally turn my phone off to not cause any extra heating of the device and wait a few hours before turning my phone on. After examination of the 2nd adhesive job I realized they did a worse job on it this time around. Now the back is coming off on multiple areas on the back plate. Day 4 , now I'm pissed. Show up and am told tech is out sick ? Not sure if it's coronavirus but now I'm thinking ,....wait did the tech even use gloves when working on my phone ? They tell me to call tomorrow for resolution. So I think I am going to look into suing this company for negligence and for fucking up a rather simple job ! Not gonna let them take advantage of more people with bad service and unreliable fixes and repairs that they claim they can do. read more

Stopped into pick up some bulbs after remodeling our master bed & bath. All the new bulbs are a bit confusing and kind of overwhelming. As a result, in recent years our fixtures have ended up with misc bulbs of varying brightness and hues. We were in the store trying to figure what the difference between all the options when manager Mike came over. He educated us and helped us get all new bulbs which was the perfect finishing touch on our new room. He also told us that the "new" curly bulbs are going a way soon! I made an appointment online and I had looked at the reviews on Yelp and Google before making an appointment and I was convinced that this was the place to get my iPhone screen fixed due to I had dropped it straight down and the screen had not shattered but black lines were going straight through the screen, so I made an appointment they had a $10 off coupon online and I was able to use that as well and when I dropped it off it was very quick and easy and the owner was very efficient and friendly and he said that they approximate wait time would be about 30 minutes and I came back an hour later from doing errands and it was ready to go! My iPhone looked brand new like nothing ever happened I was very pleasantly surprised with this place, kind of a hole in the wall off the Santa Rosa Ave. but definitely worth looking into. I looked into the iPhone repair place off of Marlow Road and I looked into the Apple store and they were all easily over $100 more than what I paid here. I paid a total of $152 and some odd cents for an iPhone screen to be repaired. Not bad at all! ;) check it out!! read more

Five stars times two for Chuck and Paul at Batteries+! Chuck especially really went above and beyond to help me get my power situation resolved in my Roadtrek class B RV. I initially stopped in after seeing their sandwich board for free auto battery check because my battery terminals were corroded. They offered to check my house battery also which I knew is on it's last leg. Chuck explained at length different options, all about the batteries, and much more (he really knows his business) and he made me a very good deal on two golf cart batteries, the connector, and threw in the cleaning kit so I decided to go for it. He really worked hard trying to install the batteries I wanted after multiple measurements but they just wouldn't fit under the bed! He gave me another good option too but I decided to hold off. Meanwhile, my auto battery checked out good so Paul spent that whole time removing and cleaning the terminals and putting new conductor pads on. He also replaced the bracket that secures the battery because it was badly corroded. All of this he was doing for free with a cleaner kit they sell for $10. In the end I didn't buy the batteries so I said I better pay for the cleaner kit and Chuck still gave me ten percent off. There were three men in all who came out to help and everyone was extremely gracious. What great service! I think Chuck is a real asset to that store. read more

This was my go-to store for batteries and bulbs (as the name of the store implies!) until today. Usually, I'm helped by a kindly older gentleman who's always patient and very helpful. But today, I waked in and saw only one person, a 50-ish, tall guy, who was complaining to a previous customer that he had no life, because he spends all his time at the store. When I told him that I needed a light bulb that was brighter than an incandescent 100 watt bulb, he rudely dismissed me with the comment, "It doesn't exist. Anything brighter than 100 watts is illegal in California." I knew this is to be false, so I left and drove to Lowe's in Cotati, and found an array of bulbs in the equivalent of 150, 200, 250, and even 300 watts. A person who is either so ignorant or outright lies about the availability of lightbulbs shouldn't be working in a store called "Batteries Plus Bulbs." read more

When here to have my watch battery replaced. The employee I dealt with was great and so helpful. We also purchased an outdoor motion sensor light that was very attractive and inexpensive. We had been searching for one that was not ugly and found it here. It works great. Weeks later I went to the Petaluma location and did not like the service, personnel etc. Will always take my business to the Santa Rosa location even if is a longer drive. read more

I was in Santa Rosa one weekend when I dropped my iPhone 5s and the screen broke. I went to Batteries Plus in Santa Rosa to have it replaced. Paid $120.00 for repair. When I got it back I did not notice until a week later that the camera (front and back) did not work. I also starting to notice I was having problems with the touch screen as I would have to press hard to get it to react. Being I live two hours away from Santa Rosa it is not easy for me to go back. I called, they said I could take it to the nearest Batteries Plus to be looked at. I went to the Dublin store to have the person tell me to drop it off and he will look at it. When I came back he said everything was installed properly. Hummm, did he even open it and look???? I think not. I went on line and read how to replace the camera on these phones, simple. I opened it up to find the screen ribbon was not properly secured. I secured it properly and put it all back together. The screen now works prefect to the touch, the front camera now works but the rear camera still does not. Do not have these people work on your phone(s)! For the money they charge they should stand behind their work 100%. All Batteries Plus have lost my business do to this! read more

I'm very unhappy. I bought a new battery for my cell phone for $39.99. I could have gotten one much cheaper on the Internet but didn't want to wait to have it shipped. The brand name (Duracell) and lifetime warranty were also a plus, or so I thought. Well, I charged it to 100% but left my phone turned on all night and the next morning it was at 0%. So I tried to return it less than 24 hours after purchase and the clerk told me that in order to exchange it for another she would have to run it through a 4-hour test procedure - what?!? Since the store closes early on Sunday that would require leaving it overnight, plus I live 30 miles away and was hardly about to make a third trip on this fool's errand. I received help from Mike, Sarah and Chris (they were fixing my iPod so I interacted with each of them) and they were all great. Good attitude... and always put my needs first!! At the end of the day- wonderful service from this place. Sarah did a great job at calling me and keeping me updated of the repair status of my iPod- which I liked. Not impressed with the phone screen replacement I paid $100 for. I have a case on my phone, as well as a good screen protector that has kept previous phones free from cracks for years. My phone dropped from my hand one time after purchasing the new screen and cracked beneath the screen protector and eventually started shattering into small pieces. I have had the screen for less than 3 weeks. Now I can't use my phone at all because it won't respond to my touch. Cheap material, and no support when I called to ask what could be done. I put all the necessary protection on my phone to prevent another broken screen. I just can't believe how damaged the screen became from one short fall. read more
