So the thing I want to say about this place is the two guys are top notch at customer service. I had gone to the Sonoma coast for the - drove to quite a few beach - but as I was leaving Goat Rock beach near Jenner - all of a sudden my car lost power. It was like one of my spark plugs was not firing - so I drove to the nearest town with an auto parts store - which was O'Reilly's in Sebastopol. So I went in an struck up a conservation with the guys and talked to them to see if maybe there was something I could do for a quick fix until could get to a auto garage - being a late Sunday afternoon - nothing was open. So they had one of those diagnostic units and pulled it into my car to see what's up with the car. I was hoping it was just a dirty or fowled spark plug - that maybe I could do a quick clean - nope it needed a engine coil replacement - which was too complicated to do ( not enough tools and loosing light as sunset in 30 minutes) so I just had to nurse my car back home - but the guys were very helpful, and super nice - so picked up a few things for my car - I always buy something at any place with excellent customer service - and headed home. read more

My brake light on my fiat was out... I purchased the bulb at O'Reilly's and then ask them to install it.... It wasn't easy it took at least 30 minutes and their representative came out and took care of the job... He could have blown me off, but he persevered... He was focused and did an excellent job ... I have shopped at O'Reilly''s for years, but only recently did I give my phone number. I have always been pleased with the staff, I found them to be friendly and helpful. Today I approached the counter and got a little smart ass of a guy. He rolled his eyes as I tried to think of the name of the product I had been using. He was rude and disrespectful. It is a holiday today and I have never seen either of these 2 employees before. This guy needs an attitude adjustment if he is going to serve the public. I left the store without buying what I came for. I will return another time. read more

Called them up for a battery I told them the make and model of the car they said they had 4 options in stock. I then asked if they would do the install to which they said it comes with the purchase. After coming out and checking the battery saying it should be replaced they charged me $248. Then came out to the car for the second time and said it is a difficult install and they can't do it. Don't believe their claims about customer service or curbside pickup. First they sold me a bad battery, then took half an hour to locate the sale in the computer. Since I'm at high risk for Covid19, I've been out front waiting for 15-20 min on the phone waiting fore someone to step outside and pick up the battery. Someone keeps answering the phone inside and hanging up without speaking. Finally Hernando came out and said that the month-old $200 battery was in fact bad. I'm still waiting for an apology for selling a defective product and costing me hours of time. When I complained about waiting and the time away from my own business, Hernando walked away and stated that he was not going to help me. Think twice before giving this shop your business. read more

I was in buying parts for my motor and this 80-90 year old man came in and asked for help to change his windshield wipers, the kids who work there said they could help this old man because it was raining... absolutely ridiculous! Help this poor guy! My dad who is 57 and is going through chemo went out and helped him because they wouldn't help him! Haven't they heard of an umbrella or a rain jacket? I remember when it didn't matter what the weather was they would be out there helping customers. It's called customer service people!! read more

If your younger than 40 you might be computer savvy as well well folks guess again worst service ,parts not ordered,then wrong stuff as well things you don't want to find out mid water pump change out. I've been going here for years for auto parts and have always found everyone to be helpful. Today, more than usual. My battery appeared to be failing and so I had them do their free battery/charging system check and they confirmed that I needed a new battery. The reason for the 5 stars and today's review is because Juan, the parts person, actually saved me the trouble of going home, replacing the battery, and then bringing the old one back by replacing the battery for me.
