Went home opened the compartment bought 2 batteries at Walgreens for 8.53 2 minutes later the problem was solved. Saved 41.00 doing it myself not an expert in this task but smart enough to realize when I am being cheated. They charge you to replace batteries now in watches and fobs, etc. That was the value add of going there. It was a free service that didn't cost them any more because the employees are usually just in there by themselves. If I have to put in my own batteries, I may as well get them cheaper somewhere else. I don't need to go back. Why would they eliminate a service that made it the only reason to go there? They are already paying their employees and paying them the same amount whether they replace the batteries you purchase or stand there doing nothing. Feeling fairly defeated from my excursion across the freeway, I showed up to this location looking for a light bulb. Not the screw kind, not the kind with leads, not an LED. Put the bulb in question down on the counter and asked if they'd had any. They'd have to be common as every house on my street has this illuminated box with street numbers. Be careful here, brought my iPhone battery to be replaced, they said it should be ready with a hr they callled me to let me know they had previous appt and wasn't able to work on my phone that day and would be able to work on it the next day, the lack of communication about that "previous appt" should have been mentioned as I dropped my phone off to be worked on. After communicating that with them they said it was nothing they could do no accommodations nothing. They said this service takes typically up 2hrs they called me 30 minutes later after saying the battery didn't work and they "tried" changing the screen to see if that work & it didn't. Which doesn't make sense when they mention this type of service can take up too two hrs. Got my phone and bringing my Business somewhere else. They don't care here. -1 star for me. read more

The door lock/unlock buttons on my keys for my 2013 RAM Pickup stopped working. The dealer said I needed new keys and quoted me $750 for replacements. I saw Batteries Plus sold replacement keys. I enquired and was told that I didn't need new keys as only the key shells were defective. I was quoted l $21 for each new key shell. You can imagine my surprise and relief! The staff ordered replacement key shells and when I went to pick them up the staff swapped over the internal parts of the keys to the new shells for free. I needed a screen repair for my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I called around for price quotes and was getting pretty much the same price everywhere I called. The difference here is that the repairs at Batteries Plus are authorized by Samsung and they use genuine Samsung parts for replacement when needed. The staff (though, maybe not the most personable) were super helpful and very up front about timing and costs. They took the time to explain the process and break down the cost, including best and worst case scenarios depending on how the repair went. In the end, they were able to order the parts and repair the phone way faster than anticipated and at the lower end of the price range I was quoted. If I ever have another issue with my Samsung, I'm going straight to Batteries Plus in Vacaville. read more

Our Ford Focus key fob was in a dry bag on a rafting bag that didn't stay dry. The fob would not register at all with the car. We called the local Ford dealership and ended up having it towed to the dealership. They made a $170 assessment and reprogrammed the fobs. They worked for a few days and the battery died. I called Ford service again and they quoted us $160 per fob and $85 to program. I asked around and was directed to Batteries Plus Bulbs. I spoke with Mike on the phone and he assured me he could do the programming on an after market fob for MUCH less. I took the car in today to have the new fob programmed to my car. All said and done, it took about 35 minutes and saved me almost $100. Mike was awesome and we talked about my soon-to-be driving daughter and he offered me some tips to help make that process go smoothly. Everyone in the store was friendly. I took it to Apple to get the screen properly fixed and they informed me that they could not replace the screen because it would fail all calibrations due to the frame being bent and it would turn into a phone replacement. I recently broke one of my key for my 2016 Toyota Corolla. I called to Toyota Vacaville and they said I have to pay close to $500 for key, cutting and programming. I asked Toyota part store guy if I can just buy key, he said $250. Anyway, I looked at Amazon and found exact key with " H" chip at Keyless Express Inc. They sell different kind of key. I bought from them my combo (fob and key blade together with 4 buttons) for $22.80. Exact same key with " H" chip. I brought it to Batteries Plus Bulbs in Vacaville. They cut it and programmed it perfectly for juts 58$. It took about 20 minutes. All buttons work. Technician who did it is Tom ( thank you Tom you did awesome job). So I saved little over $420. We visited this store for the 2nd time for a repair of iPhone 6 Plus. The man who was working in the front on April 3, 2017 was rude and disrespectful as we tried to have our iPhone fixed. He was not only condescending to our problem made us repeat the problem with phone making us feel ignorant. The customer service representative finally looked up our name and saw we had been to this store before. We decided not to continue with the service since he made us feel we where bothering him.
