As someone who frequently uses Yelp in determining companies to use, it's sometimes frustrating to find a company that has a bunch of 5-star ratings, and also a bunch of 1-star ratings. How do these contradictory ratings happen, you may ask? Regarding this business, I found out why... The morning crew at B&B is awesome! Friendly, helpful, concerned, all of the things a customer-oriented business should be. If I was to rate this store based on just my dealings with the morning crew -- 5 stars for sure. Now the opposite.... DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS DURING THE EVENING HOURS. It will be an exercise in frustration, being talked-down to, disrespected, and ignored. There appears to be 2 gentlemen who work the late shift, a young kid, and the bigger guy that appears to be a bit older. It's the older of the two that I have the problem with. Sadly, the young guy is probably picking up all kinds of bad habits from this guy...he personally seems fine. The one-star reviews you see on this page regarding "horrible service", "disrespected", "condescending", etc....if I had to place a bet, those people came in during the afternoon/evening and were "helped" by this other person. B&B could do themselves a favor by re-evaluating their staffing. So bottom-line....they are a good, decent business if you get there in the morning. Horrible service, unfortunately. I tried to give them a chance. Alert to all Apple product users!!. If you have a warranty and allow this place to fix your phone it will void out your warranty. I had to find out after I traveled 12 miles at 8am in the morning while still not getting my phone fixed. I booked an appt online and none of that information is given to the customer online while booking the appt. It would be nice to have known that prior to so that I could have saved my time even booking an appt. Batteries + Bulbs.. nice concept, horrible follow through. What can I say ... this store literally saved me from wanting to punch "Brian" over at the T-Mobile store. I was directed here because T-Mobile didn't carry the replacement battery (or any battery that I know of) for my Samsung Galaxy S III. After being told several times that "they're probably closed" I decided to drive down the street to see for myself. I was so relieved to see the OPEN sign on and the nicest gentleman who greeted me! We both laughed when he heard my whisper under my breath - "Oh Thank the Lord!" He knew ... he just knew. He was friendly, polite, understanding, product knowledge was excellent, and he offered me some wonderful tips to help maintain my old phone's new battery to maximize it's life. They had the item I needed and the cost was pretty much what I had expected to pay. The terrific tips and advice was FREE!! I'm sorry, I can't remember his name (I will find his card and update this review at a later date) - but I thank you so much for keeping me from wanting to beat someone. Went to all the local places to find a very specific light bulb.. Wal-Mart, Lowe, Home Depot, Ace hardware.. Finally the sales person from Ace suggested this business (we didn't know this store was even there and had just passed it twice coming/going to slowest).. I called ahead to just ask and of course there are so many different batteries he suggested we bring it in so we could match it.. Well, we were far from home so that wasn't happening.. Good news is when we got there, my husband described what we needed and they had them! Best part was we were expecting to pay $8-$9 per bulb and they were only $6. Score!!! There was a lady working who greeted us when we walked in.. AJ assisted us in finding what we needed and was very pleasant and professional.. The store was very neat, clean and organized. I need to take responsibility for not researching BPB reviews and trusting my own gut when replacing my cellphone battery. The purpose of my comments are for future customers eyes and consideration. At check-in my cellphone (battery replacement), two employees interaction were not professional - teasing each other. The female was particularly harsh and puts down the male in his way of accessing my appointment time. When asking clarification questions, one employee talks over the other, continues teasing ... this is when I should have walked away. My overall impression and experience of my visit was not good - customers were be-littled, typical retail shopping questions were not answered, personally I was afraid to be embarrassed and did not asked many questions. DON'T DO LAPTOPS on balance, i like this business. valid niche, keys, watch batteries, phone repairs, you'd have to be a genius to work in a place like this. but not laptops, that's repairall's niche. i originally found out about repairall through batteries + bulbs for something else but this time got tricked on the laptop battery. batteries + bulbs gladly processed the order, but when i trotted my laptop over for installation, i was informed that i was told when i ordered that they don't do laptops. neat little trick to make the sale. i complained NOT - you can't prove a negative - but made a mental note to write my first yelp review. i was made whole later that day for $25 (minus $20 coupon) at repairall who installed battery + bulb's battery - without warrantying the repair understandably. i could have returned to batteries + bulbs but would have been out shipping. previously, i bought a generic battery from batteries + bulbs for a name brand cordless tool instead of waiting to have it rebuilt or buying the name-brand replacement at Big Box for more. was advised the generic was same as OEM to find researching mfg stock # later that it has 2 amps to 2.5 OEM rating. tools run shower but get the job done. buyer beware, power rating not on packaging, if it isn't written, it isn't true. read more

Very friendly, personable, and courteous staff. However, the manager, Tom needs to take a few lessons from his staff. He is why I didn't give five stars. I'd like to suggest a new protocol be set. If it's only going to take an hour for a repair, tell your customer it's going to be an hour and a half. That gives you a buffer and the customer doesn't have to leave and come back. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!! The owners and the employees are horrible. Bought a battery in a Sacramento store in Jan of 2014. The battery went bad. WE charged it and tested it, took it into the Vacaville store because they are the closest to where we live. They said they had to charge the battery over nite and said they would let us know. They never called us so we called them and they said that the battery was fine. Took it home put it back in the bike and it didn't work. Then we thought well maybe it was the starter so we bought a new starter that was $400 (it's a harley and everything is expensive!!!). Changed the starter and the bike still didn't start. we checked the battery again and our load tester said it was bad again. Now we are thinking maybe it is our equipment so we take the battery afger it was fully charged to O'Reilly Auto Parts, they test it and say the battery is bad. Came home and called the Vacaville store again. They were rude said they couldn't help us without a receipt. We called the store in Sacramento and they sent us a copy of the receipt. That still wasn't good enough for the Vacaville store. They told me that it was not a real receipt and that we were making the receipt up ourselves. Really, I forwarded the e-mail from one store to another. Then they called the store and had them fax over the same thing that I sent them. I even talked to the owners son Jake and he basically said I was lying and his employees are never rude at all. The employees names are Tom, and Sylvia. I hoe everyone reads this and does not use this store. I also called the corporate headquarters and filed a complaint against this store. I really wish that corporate would pull their franchise license but I doubt they will do that. Hope this helps!!! read more

My star rating was based on what Yelp provides when you hover over them. I'm not YET a fan and definitely not as good as it gets. I had an okay experience. So okay here goes I recently got my cat an Auto-feeder and it arrived today and required 4 D batteries. Up to this point I had never given Batteris+Bulbs a look. So I went on the website initially to see the hours and stuff and discovered I could purchase online for in store pickup. So I found the batteries I wanted and placed the order at 11:24am. Right around 11:42am I received an email saying the order was ready. So I headed out. The store is literally about 1 mile up the road from me and I arrived and found one of the employees (male) on the phone helping a customer and another employee (female) sitting behind the counter but she got up quickly and asked if she could help. I told her I had an online order. Another employee, male, walked out from the back area and proceeded to have a conversation about a cell phone (or something) to the employee helping me. Come to find out my order hadn't been pulled from the shelf before I received my confirmation so the employee went over to the isle and got my item. She came back and asked if I needed a bag or printed receipt. I didn't need either but I thanked her and walked out the store. Okay let me preface this next part that I should have looked at the item before walking out but I assumed it was right. I got out to my car and before getting in I looked down and I noticed the batteries did not look like D so I looked at the label and sure enough they were C batteries. I walked back in and advised that it should have been D batteries. The female employee seemed annoyed over my return saying the C batteries were too close to the D and she assumed she had the right ones. The first employee (male) I mentioned above retrieved the correct batteries and brought them to me and apologized for the mix up and wished me a great day. This guy is the heart beat of your store and could seriously be a great trainer for your other employees and help the manager to hire good employees with customer service similar to his! Because of him I will give the store another try!! read more

They had the battery i wanted - hooray. However, it was put in my $10 step counter without letting me know there was a fee for installation. The installing (one screw) meant I paid more for installing than for the step counter. I suggest warning people of this fee before doing the work. read more

Horrible service. I went down to get a new battery for my flashlight cuz i wasnt familiar with the type it was. So i walk in and there are 2 ppl there on there phones, they didnt acknowledge me when i came in so i looked around myself. I Couldnt find anything so i went up to the counter and with them still on there phones they both ignored me. I waited a few min then left. I was in the store for about 15 minutes total and they never looked up from there phones or said a word to me. I say again, horrible service. Had my iPhone screen replaced here and will not recommend for anyone else to do so.. Had better luck with mall vendors. I had my screen replaced.. After the replacement my phone started running VERY hot.. And sensitivity of the swipe screen was all messed up.. Also I started seeing a hairline crack go across my screen.. Which I am blaming on it running hot.. Also when I get an incoming call the speaker volume is very low.. I brought this to their attention on a Saturday they told me to wait till Monday.. I got a call saying that those tech was only in from 8-1 and that they could take a look at it but most likely they would not fix it.. I only went to the establishment because I asked them if their work was guaranteed and they stated yes if I had a problem with their work that they would fix it.. My girlfriend took my iPhone 6s in to get fixed on Saturday. The screen was shattered, but my phone still worked perfectly fine. After the screen was replaced, I noticed my phone screen was not working properly, whereas I've never had this problem before. When I type, my phone skips letters or presses letters I don't press. It also will call people randomly and lock me out when it is in my pocket. I had 4 of my friends witness the problem as well as try typing on the keyboard and they saw a problem as all. I went in Sunday and explained to them the problem. The employees there told me that since they do not see the problem, there simply isn't one. I even replicated the problem as they watched me type several sentences. My phone didn't register certain letters, skipped entire words I typed, and it is just overall frustrating for me to use. I asked them if there was anything they could do for me and they said no. I have been to other places to get my phone fixed and it had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I decided to give this place a try because a friend recommended it to me and I am still very upset with the lack of care I was shown from the people who "helped" me. I will NEVER return due to this experience. I was not satisfied and I made it clear to the employees there. Now I will have to pay another $120 to get it fixed again somewhere else. My phone still does not work right. It took me several attempts to type this review because of how bad my keyboard is now. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I was in need of a battery for my CE5 Neuton mower.Called the store and Mike answered. I let him know what I was looking for and at first he was you need to bring it in. I stated I had found replacement batteries online with the manufacturer and amazon. Just wanted to see if this local place had the batteries here's the part number. Mike asked again for me to bring in the part because the online numbers may not be good. I stated I opened the unit myself and verified online and with the manufacturer the numbers were good. After two more request Mike then finally agreed to check, sure enough they had the batteries in stock. I said great and how much? I was sticker shocked at first and told Mike that's 25% more expensive than the manufacturer price and 50% more than the leading online seller. Mike went on a long online bashing campaign, basically cheaper is not better and you have to pay for shipping. I told Mike hey take a breath, slow down. I have shopped online a lot and I get free shipping thanks for the information but I will be ordering online. Not sure if Mike was actually okay with my response as He stated well as long as that's what the customer wants. I told Mike yes the customer, me, wants to save 50%. Recapped online has a two year warranty so for free shipping and two year warranty and 50% cheaper than local, yes makes me, the customer happy... I did not buy anything, just writing this review for other buyers. I visited the store once when it opened and it seems that the store has a lot to offer... just when I needed a set of batteries I got more crap than facts.. I did not enjoy the online bashing. ZERO 00000 STARS!!! This place is a complete con job!!! Not only do their employees suck beyond imagination, have zero customer service, they don't honor a normal warranty! They'll sell you a super expensive battery that they claim will last 5 years, when really it will only last a month or so after the 1 year warranty Runs out! Yes you heard right, they only have a 1 year warranty on a battery they charge almost double the cost of Costco's batteries. Then they will try to blame you for why it failed to work just after the warranty expires! They'll tell you that you didn't maintain the battery and it's all YOUR fault. I will Never Ever buy another thing from this place. This is not the first time they have screwed me either. They tried to sell my wife the oldest battery they had in stock one time (which was over a year old). It wasn't until she drove it all the way home (30 minutes away) and showed it to me that I realized the stupid employees tried take advantage of my wife who didn't know any better. Which then I had to argue with the stupid scum bag employee about exchanging the battery, who by the way was acting all annoyed that I'm ticked that I caught him trying to pull a fast one on my wife. I've talked to the manager Tom multiple times. Don't hold your breath, he's "nice" but won't do anything to actually deal with the rude entitled little morons he hires to work there. My wife has a three-wheel electric bike that required a battery replacement. I checked with the store we bought the bike from and the replacement battery was several hundred dollars to replace! On a whim I checked Batteries Plus and the people there were extremely helpful and actually were able to recreate the same battery pack that was needed at almost half the cost. They do not know what they are doing when it comes to phone screen repairs, and they are rude about it to boot. Go somewhere where there are technicians who have appropriate training for the model you are using; there are plenty to choose from in Solano County. I brought in my phone to have the cracked screen replaced, and I was quoted an hour repair. After arriving an hour later, and testing the phone outside, I noticed the HOME button was completely pushed in and I could not access features on my phone, as if it were frozen, or lagging. I went back in, and the employee said he would redo it, so I said I would return in an hour. Once I returned, I was informed that it could not be fixed, and in fact, I was informed by the smug employee I would need a new phone...something "just happened" when they were taking it apart. No remorse, no apology for wasting two hours and further damaging my phone...a refund, yes, but after waiting to have the cracked screen placed back on and a heavyset employee informing me that it was because of the "damage I had done to it". Hmmm there was no mention of this when I first came back to pick up my phone and they were letting me sign it out like everything was fine. Which one is it, "damage I had done to it", or "damage done when taking it apart"? They could not get on the same page...either way, everything was working beforehand, even with a cracked screen, and it sounded like to me they were scrambling for an excuse for why they couldn't fix it. So a $100 repair turned into going across the street to the Verizon store for a forced upgrade. read more

had went on line to schedule an appointment for phone repair monday morning, got it all set up got an email saying that the time of my appointment had been changed to the afternoon, Monday morning got an email that told me I had miss the morning appointment. went to their store in the afternoon as per the email, at the time that they told on the email and they had no record of my appointment. then they told me that the person who does the phone that I have was not working that day, so we reschedule the appointment for tuesday morning, I asked if they had the parts to repair it they told me that they so and it would take about 2 hour hours to fix. Tuesday morning received an email saying that they were trying to contact me, but my mail box was full,(phone did not work people), the email told me that they had to send it out for repairs and if I wanted it by in three day it would cost more. I cancel the appointment and took the phone somewhere else the phone is working and it was done in 2 hours read more
