I declined to give my phone number, and I argued that the store where I bought the product (O'Reilly in Napa) asked for my phone number at the time of purchase, however I declined, and they were fine with that. With much arrogance, the associate in Vacaville told me that the Napa store SHOULD have collected my phone number, and she managed to collect my phone number for the return to process. I find that outrageous, unnecessary, and unprofessional. No retailers should hijack phone numbers from their customers. Moreover: purchase was $17.01. Reimbursement came to only $15.13. A gentleman in one of the stalls helped me. He told me where to park and he put air in my tires. He was super friendly and explained why my tire pressure gauge went off. I returned a second time to get tires on my car. A very nice woman helped my partner and I at the front desk. She helped us select tires and we were out of there in 30-ish minutes. The front lobby is very spacious and has ample seating. There are vending machines and bathrooms located behind the main desk area. I found all areas to be well stocked and clean. I bought my last tire there after flat repair was unsuccessful as well as alignments. Again, they claimed they couldn't fix a leak. They should've been able to and wanted to sell me a new tire which would've been fine. Had they not suddenly increased the price $50-$60 from what they initially quoted me. I declined as their competitors are offering the same tire and the same service for significantly less. Wife went to pick up the car and she was rude and passive aggressive with her as well wanting to know why we declined to have them replace and then pretended not to be able to find our key. Would be happy to pay the standard $20 for flat repairs if that's what they charge however don't offer free flat repairs and then get shitty with people when they want to search elsewhere for tire replacement as though they owe you some kind of loyalty. I purchased a 2020 Mercedes-AMG C63 S from Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield because I believed buying…read morefrom an authorized Mercedes dealer meant the vehicle had been properly represented and prepared. Before purchasing, I specifically asked about the car's prior accident history and was reassured by the sales team that the repairs had been properly completed, that only Mercedes OEM parts had been used, and that the vehicle was in exceptional condition (and "should have been CPO" based on its excellent condition. I maintained the car properly and drove it approximately 7,000 miles. At the next annual service, a small oil leak turned into an engine-out repair costing more than $33,000. During the repair, an independent Mercedes specialist found extensive additional issues, including impacted and bent cooling components, engine resealing, cooling system repairs, mounts, and numerous other components requiring replacement. I wasn't asking the dealership to pay the entire repair bill. I simply asked them to participate with a reasonable goodwill contribution given the circumstances. Their response was essentially that the car was sold "as-is," they could not determine whether the issues existed at the time of sale, and therefore they would contribute nothing. The General Manager confirmed they had no pre-sale inspection report, technician notes, photographs, or other documentation beyond a routine service repair order. My disappointment isn't just the repair bill. It's the complete lack of accountability after purchasing a vehicle from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership that required extraordinary repairs after only 7,000 miles. They massively misrepresented the car, and truly does not care about what they sell, how they behave or the financial havoc their sloppy / unethical way of working create I would certainly would not recommend anyone from having anything to do with these people whom I personally consider deeply unethical in how they sell vehicles.
