I went to Battery Bill's because they were close to where I work. I needed new batteries for our RV. I waited about 15 minutes which I thought seemed long, and I paid what I thought was about $10 more than I might have at say, Costco. I put the batteries on the RV, and because I am psycho about my RV batteries, checked them with a tester. They were the strongest "new' batteries I have ever purchased. They seemed to be like lightning on our first few campouts, powering the lights just a little more powerful than I expected, and they recharged unusually well. Sometime later I was telling a friend at work about it, said I paid a little more but the batteries were like lightning. He laughed and said they were like lightning because they are the closest thing you're gonna get. He apparently had worked there in high school, and proceeded to explain that the reason I had to wait a little longer when I purchased them wasn't because they were searching the warehouse. It was because they were actually building the battery in the back while I waited. I believe that. I've bought plenty of batteries at big box stores thinking I was getting a good deal, but now it is apparent to me that I was getting a battery that already had several months, maybe even a year, of life under it's belt and had been degrading the whole time. I'm seriously sold on Battery Bill. I go there for all my batteries now. They don't carry everything, but I at least check with them before I go somewhere else. read more

I don't think I've been anywhere with 10+ reviews that maintains 5 stars so I wanted to give this place a shot. Thanks to former Yelp posts, I decided to come here after being a customer of Battery World for around 20 years (see that review for more info). Like other folks, I had a battery that would cost about $160 new everywhere I checked. Refurbished ran at best 59.99 but even that would be a trouble to find. I called in advance and they said they had a few for 41.99 each. I went down the following Monday and was met with friendly staff members. They even open early at 8a. Not only did they have the battery in stock but asked me to pull into their garage and installed it free of charge as standard practice. The battery works great and this place has a new long term customer. 5 Stars indeed! read more

Stopped by this place and purchased a small 12 volt battery about the size of a half dozen eggs . Service was awesome , there was 3 costumers in front of me being helped by the two counter men a couple more costumers show up and they call the lady from the office she quickly knocks out a simple car battery purchase and passes on the guy with an old battery outside setting on his tailgate . They seem to have batteries of all sizes the guy before me got two huge batteries each about the size of a small microwave for some thing over $200 .Did not see any big brand names but the prices seemed good . read more

I had been having starting problems with my normally reliable Mazda Miata. After my second emergency charge I went to Battery Bill expecting to pay for a new battery. They took their time looking it over (Gary and Josh) and determined the problem was a corroded connector. They quickly fixed it, providing a new part, and when they were done and I was ready to settle up, Josh said there was no charge. Since it was a rainy Friday heading into Christmas weekend, I was extra grateful. These guys know their business and know customer service as well. No waiting usually and professional installation: they check the alternator and old battery, connect a small 12v battery to keep settings on the radio, clean and seal the terminals, and dispose of your old one. Went in looking for a remanufactured battery as we figured those would be the only ones in our current price range, and then saw the posted prices; $59.95 for new overstock batteries. The sales associate, Josh, went above and beyond expectations in checking the computer, verifying car's set-up, and checked the old battery, new battery, and then made sure our alternator was working as well. $65 for a brand new battery for an old car with a full year warranty. Totally unprofessional and lack of customer service. I watched them try to put a battery in my friend's car that look like garbage. Charged her $40 for a battery that went dead the next day. This place is not the same and has turned into a guy's hangout. The manager is too busy being chatty with employees while some customer was going off. We could have gotten the same battery from a junk yard for cheaper. And they always want your old battery so they can resale it. On top of all that i think the guy that got in our car stole money out the ashtray. Horrible business read more

My jetta has had the same battery in it for several years and I needed to get a battery but could not afford the $150 price tag. I looked up online for cheap batteries and came across battery bill and thought "What the heck I will go check it out". I was stunned when they told me it would be around $48 for a used battery with a 6 month warranty and they not only do that but they test the alternator, clean the terminals and install it! Name ANY place that will do that type of job for around $50 because O'Reily's and AutoZone CHARGE to put in a battery (and mine isn't an easy system believe me). If you are tight on funds check this place out. Believe me you will not regret it and when I have the funds and need a NEW battery I will go here as well (because a new battery was $101 not $185!). I called them for a quote to replace two batteries. The prices were good, so I came in the next day to purchase. One battery was $20 more than quoted, which I let them know, however they took my 2nd battery and charged it and no replacement was required! Bob was very nice (and even joked with me about the power of my bike being more than his), and Jason was great. He came out immediately to get the batteries from my car, offered the charge, then gave it to me WITHOUT a charge since I bought the higher priced battery the day before. I was having (car) battery problems. Was told by a friend to check out Battery Bill's. So, we went and had them check out our battery. They did it for FREE no obligation either dude that helped us was soooooooooooooooooooooo cool but I forgot his name!!! Darn!!! He used zip ties to fix my grill!!!!! He tested the battery and said it had full power, not sure why wouldn't start, but my battery is good!!! What a GREAT experience. I needed a battery for my electric trolling motor. I bought a refurbished one from Battery Bill for not that much. I used it for about 5 months and it did not seem to be holding power as good it should. It is rare, but turns out the refurbished battery was not good. Once they tested it, they gave me a fresh one at no charge and it has worked great every since. Today I took my wife's mini-van for a new battery. They swapped it out for a new refurbished one in less than 20 minutes for $48. It may last just 2 or 3 years, but that is longer than we hope to have the car. They are the BEST, prices, service, and staff. Over a year ago the dealer said I needed to buy a new battery, and wanted to sell me one. I don't always trust the dealers so I said not now. I went to Battery Bill, as I have done for many years for motorcycle, alarm, tractor, and lawn mower batteries. Drove into the test bay, they said not as good as it might be but since I Hadn't had any problems with starting or other electrical problems, just watch it. Today still no problems but winter is coming, the test showed it not really holding a charge so a new battery was in order. Biggest Ripoff Ever! You would think you would be getting a great product at a low price at Battery Bill's. Not so! The prices at Bill's are extremely high; they are not competitive. For what I paid $41 plus tax for, I could have bought for $28 plus tax from Sears! Additionally what I would have gotten from Sears was a new battery. At Bill's I got a refurbished battery. I also priced a battery for a 92 Ford Explorer. I was quoted $98.00. I priced other batteries for the same car at $50 to $65. I report; you decide. A good place to buy batteries?
