The vibe-awesome. The music providing that old school rhythm. The server -Chris - eclectic and great character. He is The decor - 80's has come alive. I have been transported to the times of Stranger Things 1989!! Pig, pigs everywhere. I can tell the owner loves Pigs. Great cocktail menu and the food menu is interesting. There are many options May The food ok. Started with the fried pickles that were ok- needed more pickle taste. The Duke was ok - the grilled cheeses need more cheese and the sauerkraut was hiding. 5 for the concept 3 for the food. 3.5 overall. This is definitely a place to come and experience the adventure. Friday nights Karaoke and Thursdays trivia. I will be back because the chill vibe is soooo good. I definitely recommend this place.

Arcade games, pillows and random fun decor

Party of 2 adults, 12 yr old & two 8 yr olds: This place screams time for fun. From the decor to the arcade games and pool table. Board games were a nice touch. We came here for the Big Bradda (bacon cheeseburger, pineapple & ham) and also used RI food fights coupons for their classic & rodeo burger. The hot dogs were diamond cut & fried- with buttered toasted buns for $10.99. Potato rings were a good change up. Everyone enjoyed the food and hanging out with family.

    Rhodeo Burger

I stopped by this place for the first time as part of my 2026 RI Food Fights Burger Blowout tour. The place was pretty busy and I was lucky to get a seat at the bar. It is pretty spacious and has arcade machines (blasts from the past) which people were enjoying. I decided to get their Rhodeo burger with chips. The burger was tasty and the service was great. It was a pleasant experience and I would go back again to try something else from their menu.

Came to the grand opening of Downstairs. I love the atmosphere and my inner nerd screams with joy. There is arcade games and comfortable sitting area. Waitress and service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Dani's Pork Wingz, Milli's Mozzo Moons, The BigJam, Lavender Lemonade. Wingz were delicious with Mike's Honey sauce. Mozzarella sticks were amazing and tons of cheese. The BigJam had amazing fries and the burger was good quality. I definitely will be back to try more things off the menu. Love this place.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

The added bonus to the nights excitement was the Real Housewives of Rhode Island premier. I felt like I was watching my family (especially the "aunties"). We started off with a dirty martini (Grey Goose) and glass of Proseco; I like my martini extra dirty just in case you wanted to know. We like feeding EACH OTHER so we decided to go for the Bang Bang Cauliflower, Sweet Chili Wings (to make it messy), and Barbecue Chicken Pizza. Once things got going, the service itself was friendly and attentive. The food, however, was a different story. We ordered simple hamburgers, and both came out either wrong or missing ingredients. My burger was supposed to have crispy prosciutto and diced pepperoncinis--neither was on the plate. When I mentioned it, the kitchen sent it back out with limp prosciutto and a side of pepperoncinis, not even on the burger. To the owner's credit, he stepped in, apologized, and had a new burger made. The replacement was tasty, and the staff continued to apologize throughout the night. They even gave us a $20 gift card for the trouble, which we appreciated. It's a really nice place, and when the kitchen is on its game, the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back--just on a less crowded night.

"Hey Antonio," Foo says, "I'll have a cheeseburger, medium, no bacon, fries is okay." As Antonio put down my Manhattan I told him that I was at 22 Bowen's and ran into Chef Eric. Luckily, there was a perfect corner of the bar had just opened & we grabbed the seats. The atmosphere was convivial, upbeat & super comfortable, despite the crowd. Service was fabulously friendly & competent - the bartender handling the packed house with ease. We decided to go with an array of small plates to try as much as possible. The menu it designed perfectly for grazing & the prices are super reasonable! The selections are definitely on the comfort-food side with a strong southern hint. Ingredients are often locally sourced - something I greatly admire. We began with the a small plate of Pimento Cheese Toast. Just a few bites each but a nice start. Duck Drumettes. The horseradish-y white sauce was delectable! Even my non-duck loving partner was blown away. I was happy to hear that the salad was available in a half portion - enough for a light fresh break to our heavy selections. Next came a much heavier choice - the gravy fries with duck confit. We left off the cheese, but it wasn't missed at all. These were decadent, delicious & super filling! Next time we'd get a half portion - that would have been plenty! Our final dish was the Shrimp & Grits, but we'd already filled up on the other dishes & ended up asking for this to go. Even reheated, it was a perfectly delicious accompaniment to our brunch the next day! I'd be tempted to order this to-go again for just that purpose. While we didn't imbibe, the cocktail list looked wonderful & the bar was very well stocked. We did enjoy a nice selection from the interesting beer list. The sandwiches that we saw come out looked delicious & huge! We'd love to try them as well. We will be back - this is certainly a new favorite for us!
