A nice quiet spot to enjoy a little time out in nature if you happen to be in the area; oh and parking on site which is always a plus. Can't wait to come back and explore more in the Spring.

I'm really glad this came to the Providence Place Mall - I feel it really livened it up! I also dined at Nightshift Brewing, which is inside Level 99. I've been there 3 times and two of the three times, loved the food. They change their menu seasonally and I'm just not a fan of the options for summer. However, the fall/winter menu is delicious and has a killer french dip sandwhich that I dream about. At this most recent visit, I had the popcorn which is always great, and the detriot style pizza. It was fine, but to be fair, I don't really enjoy detroit style pizza to begin with. There just weren't any options that I was excited about so that's what I landed on. The tap list is good, and they have a combination of their own branded beer and some from other breweries. While they don't do flights per se, you can get small pours and pay individually. I typically do this as I love trying all the options. I enjoyed the majority of the beer, and I picked mostly their brewed beer. Later in the evening, after the game play was over, we ordered some cocktails. I can't remember the name of the cocktail, but it was delicious and super instagrammable. The bar tender was really nice and did a good job with the drinks. This is definitely a fun night out for adults and families alike.

The swings are a great addition, and I use the bike path and walking paths there frequently. As the weather gets better, I'm looking forward to spending more time there. It's always nice to grab a coffee from somewhere on Wickenden and set up in the park for a bit to enjoy the water and the people.

This quiet neighborhood park has a nice playground, picnic benches, a sandbox and a field.

The things I like about this park is that it's got enough "danger" to keep the bigger/braver kids happy but enough safety to prevent treachery. Especially for the littles. The different species of fish and shellfish in the bay. That are in different tanks the kids can learn from. They also have a summer camp and host birthday parties.

We are here in Beautiful Goddard State Park for a week early Father's Day celebration with our five…read moreboys! This park is a vast well maintained full service state park in the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island! For a small fee, we rented a gorgeous little private shaded spot with two picnic benched and real bathroom facilities. We brought out food and a small grill to cookout. They did come check our permit, which you need to reserve to grill. Dell's lemonade truck is often present, so we treated ourselves to the famous Dell's frozen lemonade-yay! We were there a good 5 or 6 hours and it was a perfectly lovely and enjoyable day for our family to relax and enjoy our rare time to reconnect in person. What an invaluable experience. I can't stress enough having uninterrupted time with those you love. Cell service is non existent, so take this time to disconnect off the grid and just live and love. This place is a true simple gift-a Beautiful way to reconnect and just feed the soul. Take my advice, do it now, while you can. Make a happy plan before life makes other plans! Beautiful, large park with many different sections. A great boardwalk by the narrow beach. A…read morewonderful place to take dogs, lots of benches to take rests, and an ample parking lot whose potholes were recently fixed, yay! Sometimes it's hard to find out what part of the park you're meant to meet someone in since there are so many sections. You can walk along the long beach or try a woodsy hiking trail. The trails on the right of the beach have either steps or a gradual slope to get up to the top of them, and you can look down over a small cliff to see the water below. The trails on the left of the gazebo are beautiful and give you many options, but people ride horses here, so be mindful of the droppings! This park has fantastic sunsets and multiple picnic areas, plus multi Porta potties that are usually in decent condition to use if needed. The bridge is great to look at, but can get crowded with families doing holiday photo shoots in the fall, so I've become wary of coming here since being stuck on one side of the bridge while a family made us wait to cross until they were done with pictures (ugh). I've come here for walks/hikes and even to wade at multiple times of year and always enjoy a beautiful day and peaceful experience here.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back again. I left a second voicemail specifying that I was inquiring about signing my daughter up for classes and asked someone to call me back. It's now been over two weeks AGAIN, and no one has yet to return my call... It's just plain unprofessional!! Even if you're currently not enrolling students, have the courtesy to call a potential customer back. Needless to say my daughter is already enrolled in classes elsewhere!

They will have decorated tables and balloons. You will then have 15 minutes of free play in the gym and goodie bags to hand out at the end. The kids were exhausted and they had a blast. Staff was fun and on hand to help the children and keep them involved and having fun. Thank you for providing a memorable birthday for my son! Highly recommend.

Reasonable kayak rentals out of a slightly-dusty marine shop…read more This place isn't on the water --- kayak rentals involve a guy with a pickup driving your kayak to the shore, with you following. At the end of your adventure (about 10 minutes before you're done), call the shop from your cell phone and the guy will bring the pickup back to collect the kayak. This whole system worked better than I expected. I got a single kayak --- a quite reasonable Perception Swifty 9.5 sit-inside in good repair. The basic aluminum-and-plastic paddle was nothing special, but in reasonable repair. They also do tandem kayaks, small motorboats, and very small sailboats (Sunfish). The marine shop is a little dusty, and looks to do lots of outboard motor repairs.

Great value for boat rental. We rented a 19 foot boat for a full day on the weekend for $350. Boat…read morewas about 15 years old so nothing fancy (no AC outlet or radio), but boat itself was in good shape, functioned well and we had a fantastic day in the harbor. Note to boat renters: the shop does not use credit cards except for boat rentals, and required a $2000 authorization that it appears they ran through an old computer in the back office, so we initially had issues with finding a credit card that their system would not decline. Just be aware that this can take a significant amount of time even if your credit cards have never had issues previously, and they don't take AmEx. As mentioned in the previous post, the rental shop itself was not on the water, but was an easy 5 minute drive with the shop bringing the boat on a trailer and then picking it up at the end of the day with a stop by the gas station on the way back to the shop to top if off that the customer pays (very economical, only went through 12 gallons of gas). The shop requires that someone in party is an experienced boater and they take you out on 5 minute test drive before letting you go. Even though we were never in shallow water and convinced we didn't run into or over anything, there were some dings in the propellor noted at the end of our trip. Steve verified that that they could have been there prior to our trip, and was honest in not charging us for them. If you are fine with a more social (we got to know Steve quite well) while not the most streamlined renting experience, then good bargain!
