    Bone-In Ribeye

Another day and another 20oz. Bone In Rib eye. If you can't cook a steak at home, order one of these medium-rare. I like the green beans and the hot rolls. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lively and loud atmosphere at dinner time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server on this visit was upbeat and memorized the entire order, impressive.

If you craving a steak this place not bad. I go for the hot bread rolls with butter. Service is great have not had a bad experience. I usually go for lunch during the week because Fridays-Sundays forget it you wont catch me waiting with that said, if you super hungry on a weekend be mindful you will be waiting up to an hour. So plan ahead if you going. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place gets crowded and I do like booth tables though feels you next to others & place does get loud since lots people conversation at the same time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to this Texas Roadhouse location for their exceptional service on Thursday night despite them being so busy with all the families of many graduates . We had a party of 12 and were told it would be a hour wait but we waited about 20-30 minutes and while we were waiting one of the employees came out and handed free bags of peanuts to everyone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had the outside decorated with graduation decorations and had a cute Photo Booth with props set up at the entrance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . We were all seated and our drink orders were taken right away we also got 6 baskets of their delicious bread which I thought was very generous especially with how busy the restaurant was . Our server took our appetizer and entree order right away and surprisingly our meals were out in less than 30 minutes. All the while our server and other employees all seemed happy to be serving everyone despite being so busy . Thank again for making our special night celebrating our daughter's graduation even better !!!!

Texas Roadhouse never fails to hit the spot! We started with their legendary Cactus Blossom -- crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing -- along with their freshly baked bread that melts in your mouth, especially with the cinnamon butter. Honestly, by the time our meals arrived, we were already stuffed! I had the Steakhouse Filet Salad, and my husband had the fried catfish. Both were delicious, and we enjoyed what we could manage after the appetizers. My favorite drink here is the Strawberry Cucumber Fuzzy -- so refreshing -- and my husband really enjoyed the Sparkling Berry Bliss. The service is always great, friendly, and attentive. It can be a bit loud, but that's just part of the lively, roadhouse-style atmosphere. Definitely a place we'll keep coming back to for good food, fun energy, and great service.

Checked this place out because we got a gift card from our daughter for Christmas . It was very crowded but we got seated pretty fast . Service was very good too . I loved the drinks and the appetizers and even thought the food came out fast it wasn't the hottest . Maybe it's because they were super busy but it's the small attention to details that make a place great . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice vibe if you don't mind noise[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] .

This was my first time eating here and everything was amazing! From the customer service to the vibe to the food. The place was hopping for a Wednesday a little after 5pm. I put me and my son in the waitlist in the mobile app just in case, and we were immediately seated upon arrival. The restaurant was busy. But no shortage of employees and all were friendly and said hello. To start off, of course we had the rolls. My son had the regular butter covered rolls, but they brought out a basket for me without any butter on top. So hot. So soft. So pillowy. I could have eaten the entire basket! I had a coupon for a free appetizer so my son chose the fried pickles. Came out super fast, hot and crunchy. He loved them. For our mains, I chose the 6 oz Dallas Filet Mignon (simply grilled with no oil or butter), medium rare. Cooked to perfection (even though it was a little cold by the time I got it), but melted in my mouth and was definitely lean. There was only one little piece of a gristly fat vein. For the price, this was definitely top notch for filet mignon! My sides were steamed vegetables with no butter/oil. I do not like carrots, so I just ate the four pieces of broccoli. And then I got the fries. OMG. Some of the best fries of my life. So thick, crunchy on the outside but melted like butter on the inside. And the seasoning on top was so good. I love that they keep a bit of the peel on it too. Let me tell you what...it was hard limiting myself to eating only 4-5 of them! My son got the 16-oz ribeye, medium rare with corn and green beans as his sides. His steak was cooked perfect and he ate all of it!! Plus he loved the buttered rolls (not pictured) - which was the reason why he wanted to go here. All the food was hot, cooked perfectly and came out quickly. Our waiter was AMAZING. Wish I got his name. But he took good care of us and I left him a tip to reflect that. My only complaints...it can get loud in there (I am old lol) and the table was way too small for all that food! But not really complaints. I would go back any day, any week. Definitely recommend!!

It's been a while since we had been here but really wanted a good steak. I got a 14oz rib eye and wife a 10oz rib eye. I got fries and she got baked potato and we each had salad, mine with thousand island which was thick and tasted freshly made. The bread is still buttery and warm. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Very busy, great service, still very loud with the country music and patrons having a great time. I do miss the peanut room, opening the bag on your table just not the same. Solid 4.5 overall.

I had the 8oz Hand Cut Sirloin - we may have eaten some of the entree before we took the pictures - OOPS

We were in town to do some shopping - stopped in for a late lunch. As expected, everything was on point. They were starting to get busy, when we arrived. We were taken to a table quickly - our server - RAVEN, was right there to take our drink order. Took our appetizer order and we had them promptly. The Deep Fried Pickles are a hit (we have had them in the past but we have not been to the restaurant in a while - we live 45 minutes away from this location and 30 minutes south of another). Raven took our food order and it arrived perfectly cooked. She checked on us enough to be helpful but not annoying. We will be back for sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was Hustling when we left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Glad we got there when we did. Good Job!

Came here before the dinner rush. The business is in the parking lot of a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. We were seated right away which is a surprise since there is usually a line all the way outside. The staff was very friendly and prompt. Our food came out fast. Good flavor. Not the best steaks. However for the price it's definitely worth it. Comes with free peanuts, bread and their delicious butter. Bread was fresh. The peanuts are no longer thrown in the floor which is nice as it keeps the place clean. Worth coming if you're looking for some inexpensive steaks.

You can do "call ahead" on the app. for parties 6 people and under. For 10 people I would call ahead of time so they can add you to the call ahead list. There is an area near the back that looks like it could accommodate 10 people. Happy 80th… Read more

    Yes while it last

How does the wait list work? How long will they hold your name?

Not our case on 12-26 (four of us). Called in, no problem, put on waitlist and were seated in 10 after arrival in spite of a super, large crowd.

Also days are the end of the week. The Brisket Sandwich - If this was the only thing I ordered this bbq would have been a 7 out of 5 stars. Hands down the best brisket I've ever had. Cowboy Corn - good corn, kinda like elote. I could have eaten it with chips. Needs a little more spice. Corn bread - warm and delicious. We got an edge. Ooohhh ahhhh. A little crisped. Definitely should be served with butter and honey though. Combo - Chicken - good seasoning, better with the sauce. Pulled pork - not salted. Definitely needs sauce when you enjoy. Mac and cheese - muah. Chef kiss. I'm not a big fan of mac and this stuff had me tempted to take it all for myself. Potato salad - excellent flavor good care. Red potatoes. Cooked to perfection. They definitely need to be cut into a little smaller pieces and boiled with a little saltier water. They were large bites that the dressing couldn't get all the way around. BBQ Sauce - I loved it. Thought it was great. With that being said I need to acknowledge it was spicy. My wife was on the edge and I would serve it to the kids. I'll be back!

So, the Tuesday Feast for 2 special brought us back. In addition, they have a hamburger special for $6.00 and $10.00 if you would like a side. We particularly enjoyed the mac and cheese, which was as good as I remember, and the brisket was very tasty. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to substitute mac and cheese instead of fries for both of our meals. Additionally, the ribs were a hit with my family, and the bread pudding had excellent flavor and consistency. I enjoyed it very much, while he thought it was too soggy. However, there were a few areas where we felt the experience could be improved: - The Burger: I ordered my burger medium-well, (as I like no pink, but not burnt) but it arrived heavily charred and blackened, which was quite noticeable and disappointing. - The Sides: The baked beans and coleslaw did not meet their expectations. They were "just ok". Additionally, the corn on the cob was overcooked and soggy. - Portioning: We ordered the "Feast for Two," which is noted to serve 2-3 people, yet it only includes two cornbread muffins. We would suggest including a third muffin to better accommodate the group size mentioned. - Dessert Quality: While we enjoyed the bread pudding and the sauce, the ice cream served with it was freezer-burned with large ice chunks.

Since it took so long, I ended up taking the food home. I did try it later, but I wasn't very impressed. Funny how the world works, I was looking to buy some strawberries but our usual stand was closed,…read more so headed over to 132 to check another strawberries stand .. yes beautiful local grown strawberries is there anything better? Well if you are living in Modesto , and have been looking for real BBQ and I mean REAL GOOD BBQ .. then my strawberry stand being closed sent me down 132 , so drove a bit further to take Dakota Ave. home .... And on the side of the road as we turned from 132 were wind flags calling me to stop and look around BBQ .. there to my left a small orange trailer just beyond a huge smoker .. to the trailer we went an array of BBQ fair listed on menu board ... now I have been looking for good bbq in Modesto for some time, and in my opinion There has been none since "My Sisters Kitchen " closed, there some good BBQ people serving the community, but seems to me no one really stood above the rest .. until now Biggityo's BBQ on Dakota Ave. we purchased 1/2 pound brisket and a full rack of pork ribs and a small Mac &cheese. WOW incredible? The brisket was flavorful tender and a generous 1/2 lb for sure, came with a small container of BBQ sauce sauce was good , nice spice but as my wife said not necessary... the meat was that good on its own. The Ribs , shiny meaty tender and so delicious, nice bite a bit of smoky goodness that did not over power the meat, sauced with just a whisper of a sweet and spicy sauce. This was the best BBQ I have had since my last visit to Rolling Smoke in Las Vegas, it used to be when asked I was going to Vegas to play pool , now when asked , I am going to Vegas for the BBQ. Now I am happy to say I can just stay in town to enjoy exceptional BBQ. It may be what's for dinner tonight too ..

Why does this Tri-Tip have to be so ridiculously tender and juicy?!…read more Seriously... why even bother giving me a steak knife? This Tri-Tip was so tender I could've sliced it with an old butter knife from Grandma's kitchen drawer and never missed a beat. And the flavor? Absolutely unreal. I swear that cow was out in the pasture happily munching on fresh grass about two seconds before it made its way to my plate. Every bite tasted so fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor that it almost seemed unfair to every other Tri-Tip I've ever eaten. This wasn't just dinner--it was a full-blown meat experience. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked so perfectly that it should probably come with a warning label: "Caution: May permanently ruin all future Tri-Tip for comparison purposes." 10/10. I'd gladly skip a salad, ignore my diet, and make questionable life decisions all over again for another plate of this masterpiece.

Big Vic's has definitely improved since my last visit. The meat and barbecue are excellent, and I…read morereally enjoy that part of the meal. That said, I still feel the sides are subpar. I usually end up getting the cornbread because the other options don't really appeal to me. On today's visit, I also noticed the price for the sliders didn't match what was listed on the board. When I politely mentioned it to the cashier, she didn't respond or acknowledge it, which made the interaction feel awkward and dismissive. I wasn't trying to make an issue out of it; I was simply pointing out that the posted price should match what customers are charged. If the sliders are $8.78, put $8.78 on the board. If they're $8.24, put $8.24 on the board. It may seem minor, but inaccurate pricing can come across as careless or even dishonest, especially if it happens repeatedly. I also think the front register needs stronger customer service. The person at the register is representing the business, and when a customer brings up a legitimate concern, it should be acknowledged professionally. Having someone more mature or better trained handling checkout would make a big difference. Overall, the barbecue is moving in the right direction, but the sides, posted pricing, and customer service still need attention.
