They advertised a mini cooper for close to 11,000. After I asked for a test drive he asked me if I was even genuinely interested in it to which I obviously said yes. Before I could even test drive it he took me to his office and told me that total I would be paying close to 14,000 and change. this was my first car and I didn't think I would be taking advantage of. He definitely overcharged me (dealership fees, registration fee charged twice!) and the car is not even in perfect condition! Harry makes you feel like an idiot. I asked for help setting up my insurance and he explained to me another person didn't buy it because of the high insurance so he put no collision coverage to get me the lowest offer which I found out after someone hit me. I learned my lesson with these 'side of the road' car dealerships. The team is Harry, Sara, and Steve. Sara is a sweet girl, she takes care of the administrative paperwork. Harry is the manager with a laid back attitude, decent guy. Then there is Steve, he is a true 'side of the road' car salesman. I was eyeing a specific car that they happen to have, so I decided to go to Bavarian Auto Gallery. I dealt with Sara at first to show me the car, I test drove the car, it had a low tire and a broken tire pressure sensor. I liked the car, so I told them I'll come back after the sensor is fixed, so I can see the condition of the low tire and test drive it again. Steve in his intimidating car salesman ways, told me he doesn't see a point in fixing it if I wouldn't buy it, it's only a $15 dollar part, tire just needs a plug, etc. I see his point with some reluctance, only I am to blame in the end, I want to support my local business, so I decide to start a transaction. I haggle on the price, we work on it, my bank won't issue a check for a few days (this is the start of COVID-19) so we make a deal that if I put a few thousand down I can drive and bring the check in later, I do just that, put a few thousand down but tell them to fix the sensor and look at the tire. After a few days I get the car back with a tire sensor working, tire pressures look good and the fun starts. I notice some air pressure starting to lower, so I request to look at the paperwork I signed via email to see what is covered. They tell me it is policy not to send all the paperwork even if I signed it...I thought this was weird, I just want to see what is covered, but again, my fault right? I was supposed to sit there and read, understand, sure I'll just eat it now. Nah, I wanted to see what I signed especially since I realized I didn't get a copy of everything. After several attempts at getting a copy of my paperwork I get a call from Steven, him being pushy, intimidating, very unprofessional saying that if I wanted to do any business with the dealership I had to go through him, I was not swayed and decided to move communication via email to get any answers for a recorded history. I decide to get the car looked at myself at a dealership of the cars make. Everything came back okay besides minor things, which made me feel better and I decided to just get 4 brand-new tires. I turn in the check from the bank, they tell me when it clears they will return my money down, it clears, I email for my money back, do so several times, finally get a response and the money. I let go of the paperwork because during the trying times of COVID-19 I was focused on other issues and realized they need to take care of my paperwork to get the title, tags transferred, etc. Several thousand miles later, turns out the sensor was not put in new, rather dusted off and thrown back in, and a new sensor is not $15 but closer to $350, which would have been covered if I had received the paperwork that showed me what was covered, but they refused to send me. After much communication and about a month after the DMV opened, I had to email them for my tags, which I finally received after reminding them, and concluded my business with them. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt because of the pandemic, but still fall on 1 star for the extremely unprofessional car salesman named Steve, the countless emails I had to send for various things, and the money that I had to put in for things that were promised to me from the beginning. Moral of the story, avoid this place. There are reputable dealerships out there and I have thoroughly learned my lesson and understand why the 'side of the road' car dealerships get bad reps. Things happens but how the problems are being handled shows your professionalism. I called this dealer two weeks before my temp plates are expired and told them they were supposed Fedex me the plates and followed up with emails several times. They called me back the day before my plates expired and told me I owe them registration and shipping fee. They told they will the plates next day. I didn't get the plates the next day and when I called them I was told "if I pray maybe I will get them on Monday". I couldn't drive the car I spent $20,000 four days because of there carelessness and ask them give me back the service fee they charged me. This place has terrible communication, customer service, and ethics. I purchased my BMW at Bavarian in July, 2021. I drove 6 hours round trip, from Upstate NY to get the vehicle. They kept my spare key and Harry told me he will mail my key once my NY plates and registration come in. Fast-forward to August 2021 my plates and registration arrive in a FedEx envelope, but no key ... Now there is a zero percent chance a BMW key fob would be missed in an envelope ... if it was there, there would be pretty obvious right? So I called them, Sara said Harry does the mailing and he is on vacation, no problem I will call back. I call back; she will ask Harry. I call back again; now a month later, I was told Harry just mailed it out and to look for it in the mail. Ofcourse, no key came. I call back and this time I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner ... buckle up, this guy has no clue. Starts off by telling me a replacement key fob is only a few hundred and he wasn't responsible because they mailed the key, he tells me he will ask the postal worker what he should do. This is their favorite line..."no need to worry, I will call you back". Once you hear it, just know you are about to get screwed over. Ofcourse no one called me back, so I called ... and what do know, I got to speak with the third Stooge, Harry! Harry had no idea what I was talking about. No one asked him about the key, and Harry has never in his 20+ years misplaced a key... so Ofcourse he didn't believe me, literally said that to me! He had to speak with the owner and he will call me back ... same song .. same dance ... I had to call them back. 2009 Audi A4 - I absolutely cannot recommend this dealership. I bought the car sight unseen in June, based on the reviews of the dealership, and representation of the vehicle by the sales person and manager. Boy did they see me coming! I specifically asked if the car had any mechanical issues and was assured by Sara it did not. When I received the car, the vibration from the engine was VERY pronounced. Bad motor mounts! Withing 12 hours of receiving the car, the check engine light came on. Bad turbo! Backup camera and parking sensors non-functioning! Coordinating shipment was VERY difficult due to poor communication from the dealer. The only thing they were forthcoming about was the cosmetic condition of the car. In April 2014 I purchased a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. It had low miles, only 95k. All cleaned and shiny. But Mythbusters proved you can polish a turd! 1st time it rained the entire back seat flooded! Sliding rear window seal was bad. Dealer said "can't help you" After about 200 miles it just shut down on the Turnpike. I knew I didn't have a warranty but needed to tow it somewhere. I met there mechanic when I bought the truck. When I called they said "don't bring it here, we don't have a mechanic" I told them I didn't expect them to fix it for free, I'd pay for the repair. Again, "don't bring it here" and then "click"! Ended up needing a coil. Then, about 3 weeks or so later it couldn't hold an idle. IAC sensor. Then CKP, CPS, and cap & rotor. I have put less then two thousand miles on it since I bought it. In addition to the parts mentioned it needed a water pump, driver heated seat, battery, radio, front 4x4 hub, and a leaf spring. Mind you I use this truck as a Saturday commuter, 18 miles each way. The most weight it has ever had in it was a washer and dryer. They replaced a broken or missing axle snap ring with a keyring holder, might as well used a paperclip! Stay away, stay far away! read more

Dirtiest SCAM ARTISTS ever!!! No exaggeration, they sold us a car that they claimed was in good working condition. The transmission service urgent light turned on within 40 miles of the place! The car smelled strange so I had asked if it had water damage and they said no. I brought the car back within 20 hours of he purchase, they refused to give our money back. They claimed they would have it taken to Volvo and looked at. I called that Volvo dealer and the service manager told me the car had extensive water damage and the transmission was totally screwed, would cost $5000 just to fix that alone. I fought for nearly 2 1/2 weeks to get our money back. They sent back most of it, but claimed that $300 they couldn't give back because of a processing fee with Wells Fargo Dealer Services. I recently bought an 01 Toyota Tundra from this guy Ash. I drove all the way from eastern CT to get it and multiple times he assured me that everything was good on it. I asked him why it has painted front and rear bumpers and he said that's just the way the previous owner has them. I asked if they were rusted (typical of these trucks) and he said "Nope, everything is very solid. I don't know why it was painted." I asked if it needs anything or has any other issues. He said no. When I went to go pick it up, my wife and I didn't get there until very late but he willingly stayed open, which I was grateful for. However when we arrived, it was a torrential downpour and I was not able to inspect the vehicle thoroughly (yes my fault). I decided to take it for a drive and noticed the brakes were pretty bad but not much else. He knocked $200 off. Great! So I bought it, trusting he was honest about everything else. Well two days later in CT, I did an oil change in the truck and noticed the bumpers were so rusted that you could put your fingers through them. Not only that, but it was missing the rear exhaust and the exhaust itself had 4 leaks. I called him up to tell him what I found and that I'm not even going to worry about the exhaust but the bumper was horrid. I offered to pay $100 for a new bumper and he'd pay the rest. He said he would look around for used bumpers. I've been trying to get in touch with him for 3 weeks and "he is never there". I will keep calling everyday multiple times until he admits he lied and does the honorable thing. Do not buy from this dealership. The prices are reasonable but there is a reason for that. read more
