The best part is the attentive service! We placed a very large order for take-out for a family dinner. Several of us have allergies, one with severe tree nut (cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts) allergies, another with preservative allergies . We worked with the very knowledgeable person taking our order and he worked with the chef to adjust recipes when possible and to carefully label everything in our order. Our meal was excellent and we shared so everyone had a chance to taste many dishes. Nobody had any kind of negative reaction! We have been to India and find the restaurant close to what we have eaten in India. Having eaten at Bawarachi many times, this was the first time we ordered for the family members with allergies. BEYOND AMAZING! I'm a Flight Attendant and have worked in Delhi. This was the best Indian restaurant I've found in the USA (and I get around)! The food was INCREDIBLY authentic! The service was outstanding! The chicken tikka masala and chole puri was OUTSTANDING! I can't wait to go back here again when back visiting my parents. PS- I went to the Star of India down the street the day prior and while tasty for an Americanized Indian lunch buffet, this place is BY FAR superior! My first Indian restaurant in Colorado and I came here with my family with high recommendations. Honestly I'm heavily disappointed. I guess I had really high expectations as I'm from jersey. We ordered the egg masala with butter naan and a rava masala dosa. Honest review: the dosa was good but can't say the same about the coconut chutney and the meethi sweet chutney. I had really good coconut chutney before and this tasted more of a peanut chutney then a coconut chutney. The ratio of peanut vs coconut.. peanut was so high. When you order dosa you want authentic coconuy chutney not peanut with coconut for color. The tomato chutney was the best thing about the dosa. Sambhar was already okay okay. Now onto the egg masala.. the egg masala was sweet in a tomato gravy sorta way with ONLY 3 EGGS!?!?! Dad and I shared this curry and was disappointed to see 3 EGGS. Atleast put 4! All the other places I go to put atleast 4. The gravy was way too much and hoenstlh did not gel with the rice. The buttered naan tasted weird and im a foodie so I know what a fresh good tasting butter naan tastes like. Took the 3rd star away cause the glasses of water we were given the plastic tumblers- they reeked of eggs( the glasses reeked of the lingering smell) when you took a sip of the water. Made my mother very nauseous as she doesn't eat egg so she smelled it very much. Even I smelled it too. I don't know if I will come here again but will come again one more time to try the north Indian food. Hoping it doesn't disappoint me like it's dosa and egg dish did. I hope the owners take this criticism in good faith and not get offended. I understand that I'm from jersey so people might say you have tons of good Indian food there but just saying as I'm tasting it. No lies. There's definitely room for improvement in coconut chutney and the amount of eggs you add in any egg dish. Place is overall pleasant. They have booths as well as the tables and chairs in the back. Bomb Indian! The menus is huge and expansive and all intriguing. I'm a fan of goat so they have an entire section of "mutton". The Goat Korma is spicy and well seasoned and creamy and awesome! The biryanis and amazing as is the garlic naan. If you're a fan of Indian Cuisine, they have north and south options, I highly recommend this place. Glad that Bawarchi was the restaurant we decided on since this was our first time having Indian Cuisine. The inside is large and spacious with lots of seating. We were seated immediately and given plenty of time to look over their menu to decide. There was only one server so it took quite a bit to order, but the food came out within 10-12 minutes. I went with the Buttered Chicken for my entree. Hubby went with the Buttered Shrimp. We also ordered Samosas, and Idly. Unfortunately, they were out of the Idly, but they gave us the Medu Vada combo in place. We received our appetizers within 5 minutes, and then our food came out about 6 minutes after. Wish we had a little bit longer so we could enjoy the apps, but I can't complain! Food smelled absolutely phenomenal! No one can say that any of the food lacks flavor. There is more than enough food brought to you with all that you order. I couldn't finish all of my Buttered Chicken because the sauce was heavy, but their naan was so soft, perfect amount of garlic, and so tasty! It was perfect for dipping in the sauce I've never had Indian before so I'm not sure how to properly review this food, but was my take on it- Delicious! read more

With chicken breast at about $2 a pound a meal with about 6-8oz of chicken is a nice profit at $17 a meal. So why do they have to charge almost $5 each for one naan bread. Their vegetable pakora was wield, instead a decent piece of vegetable dipped in batter it was the tiniest pieces of vegetables dipped heavily in batter ( mostly 85% batter). read more

There were several (distanced) tables of other patrons. They all seemed to be happily enjoying their meals. The decor is well lit, Indian accented. The staff are friendly and efficient. When it comes to Indian cuisine, I love Bawarchi. Typically, I get the chicken tikka biryani. This is a great take on the classic chicken tikka masala dish on a well-proportioned biryani. Unless you're down for extremely spicy go with mild. Even the medium has of serious kick to it. Another side I with checking out is the Saag Paneer. The flavor of this spinach and goat cheese dish never disappoints. If you're feeling really daring, one appetizer I would highly recommend easy chilli Aloo Gobi. Food is always great. I ate at several different Bawarchi places across multiple states. Great food and the ambiance is very nice. One thing that bothers me about this one is hospitality. Staff are not rude. Don't get me wrong but the staff is all about taking orders and sitting in their corner browsing or running errands. The dining experience can be so much better if the staff make this place more welcoming. I sat for an hour and watched to see if the staff, those that are managing the place, interacted with any of the customers. None. Zero. I think that's what is preventing Bawarchi from becoming an Indian bistro. May be it's not intended to. Who knows. read more

One of our fav spots in town! I've tried a quarter of the menu (it's big) and everything has been flavorful, but the primary reason I love this place is everytime it is consistently delicious. Great service and food. I certainly won't be ordering the goat korma again as there are bone shards. We ended up taking this home and one of the bone cut open my partner's mouth. Just took a group out to Bawarchi for a Holiday meal. We ordered and got our food. As soon as we finished, they asked us to pay. I ordered an extra dish to go (I tried when we first ordered but they said to ask at the end), and waited to get the order as well as a box for one persons leftovers. They cleaned the table and asked us to leave (they said people were waiting) before they were done cleaning the tables or we had gotten our last item. Such a great restaurant with awesome people working there. Went for my girls birthday dinner and the food was incredible. We had initially gone to Himalayan Bistro on Council Tree drive and walked out because of how rude the staff was. There was also a pair of rude, college-age girls sitting right next to us that just kept staring at us for no reason. They must have been insecure because of how they looked and smelled.
