I can't say enough for this company, out of alll the new…read morecontractors/services we had to hire with moving, this company (especially Matt and Scott) have been the coolest, most laid back but also efficient and attentive to detail- super responsive and understanding with requests and questions. Ami helped to coordinate installs was a total Angel because our schedule is Hectic and our project of sorting out multiple old systems, broken sensors and contacts, and a mess left by the old company (nothing was labeled or organized) required multiple visits and at odd times- I really appreciate that the installers were committed to doing everything right even though it took more equipment and time than we originally anticipated. Also love the head engineers that are familiar with lots of systems to help with random WiFi/network errors. The systems themselves are sleek and easy to use with the app. The sensors can be delayed or disabled for certain purposes. I also accidentally set off the alarm silently, they called me and the cops, and were able to call off the cops easily once confirming it was me. Lots of nice safety features to this alarm which Scott tested to make sure they worked as needed :) We compared to another well know local company that seemed a bit outdated (no app access/control) and a giant national company (expensive setup, less local, not as individualized attention). Ultimately chose safe and sound for the excellent customer service and highly recommend!

I had a phone call with one tech who logged on to my computer remotely, then figured out that they could not fix the problem. Now I am waiting for a physical person to show up, after being promised that, and they have not scheduled anyone and I have not gotten any response to my email. We spoke on Thursday, they said "We will try and have someone out tomorrow". It's now Wednesday and radio silence.

    I wanted this company to check out the HD on my relatively new NVR for my CCTV system. This…read morecompany did not install the system. This company said they would sell me a new system to replace system I had. On the suggestion from my wife, I called a computer repair company in Walnut Creek who sent a technician to my house to simply replace the non-functioning HD with a larger, industrial quality CCTV HD. It so happened the technician knew exactly the problem I had and ordered the correct HD. The new HD did not even to be formatted!! Cost for the new CCTV HD was $150.00!!! I don't enjoy being "played" by merchants such as these people from this company!!l Response/reply: I spoke to a "receptionist." She put me on hold for a few minutes; when she returned to the call, she told me the "manager" told her to tell me the company doesn't service systems they did not install. Plus they are not familiar the brand of CCTV. At no time was I given the option or ever asked if I wanted a technician to go to my house to check out my system. The original installer wanted to sell me a new system as well!! The original installer said my CCTV system should be replaced if it stops working because the NVR is not serviceable. My system was warranted for 3 years; the HD in the NVR failed 2 months after the warranty expired. Response: I am simply writing (recording) what I was told by the receptionist. I told her my CCTV was giving me an error message "not recording." I asked her "...do you service CCTVs?" She said the manager said they don't service my brand of CCTV. She said the manager said,, "he is not familiar with your CCTV." ***I found the NVR brand and cameras on AM.Z.N. I simply said "OK!"

Justin was dispatched to complete the repairs, and he's been great at problem-solving. We will continue to work with Done Right Security. Especially after they showed us how a previous vendor had skipped some important safety issues. I definitely feel that our building is in a better shape than before.

    Next month would have been my 14 years with ADT, our equipment was old and malfunctioning so we…read moreswitched to another company. So I called the 877 number to cancel and they forced me into a 15min call to cancel which was practically a sales pitch. I told them multiple times to just cancel me, because I was in a hurry, and she told me, "you can call back when you have more time to cancel or stay on this call with me." I replied, "So you just can't quickly cancel my call?" She said it was a 15-17min process. So I stayed on the call and listened to many questions about my new service provider, and their deals. I just kept saying I don't know, no, or no thank you to each question. They put me on a brief hold, that took a minute, to process paperwork. At this point I feel held hostage and so upset. She comes back with another $300 new equipment installation offer. I just keep saying, no thank you. So now we're at over 20 mins on the call. She then throws, guess what? Yes, a new deal. Omg. I just want this canceled. She now says they waived the entire cost of the whole new install, and I just say no thank you over and over again. So before you get ADT which was a decent service for almost 14 years, just know the cancellation process will be grueling.

They scheduled me with a 4 hour install window on Monday April 7th from 8 to 12 in the morning. At 11 they had not showed up and I called to check and they put me on hold, checked with a tech, then assured me the tech would be here by 11:30. At 12:30 when no one had showed, I rescheduled for the next morning, again 8 to 12 AM. Once again, the tech did not show up. Keep in mind I was receiving confirmation texts and emails that my appointment was made. I have now accumulated 8 hours of time simply waiting and these are off hours since my businness is open in the evenings. I called again to reschedule and was told they could schedule me for today but it might get cancelled depending on availability, and that the could only ensure the tech would be here tomorrow on April 10th. I asked for a smaller window of installation and they declined saying the best they could do was have the tech call me on his way. (Obviously, only a fool would trust that to work after the previous 48 hours). I then asked for some consideration on my extremely expensive install and the company declined. After that, I requested my contract be nullified (i had signed it via docusign) and they said that it was and that my install is cancelled. I cannot say that I am certain I am out of contract. I am now gathering quotes from alternative venders to support my business. I do not have the numbers yet to see if they will be more or less expensive than ADT but I am certain their customer service will be better. Nothing could be worse. Avoid ADT at all costs.
