We needed to find a general contractor to rebuild the first floor of our condo after we found mold. We found We Do Construction by word of mouth and right out of the date we found the entire team to be super professional, easy to work with, highly communicative, and most importantly they really cared about the work product they produced. Throughout the process, they helped with the project design, helped with the materials purchases, and gave me progress updates at every step of the build. I was remote for most of this project so they set up a group WhatsApp and shared photos and did video calls so I could review and make adjustments. Working with We do construction has been easy and wonderful. I was not looking to remodel my place but my apartment flooded in February so I didn't have much of a choice. Getting everything put together for the insurance was very difficult and tedious but Shai (my project manager) was always willing to assist me to get the right paperwork/ information to the insurance. Also my HOA required various credentials / permits and insurance to be able to start the work and WDC was one of the few contractors that met all those requirements AND was accredited by the better business bureau. I wanted to replace my linoleum flooring with tile and all the contractors were saying they didn't like that idea. Shai was one of the few contractors that didn't try to change my mind and he informed me of all my options before deciding what to go with. Tile was more expensive but WDC did an amazing job with everything. I also needed assistance getting all the materials to my place and they were able to assist me with that which was great. As the project went on, I found more stuff I wanted to replace like the restroom vanity, mirror and toilet. Shai was able to quickly get me a price and began on the work. I reached out to a few general contractors to remodel our sunroom and get a new floor and stair for the room next to it. Most contractors only do Kitchen, Garage, or Bathroom, but We Do Construction handles all kinds of works. We worked closely with Israel, who was our project manager. Israel was very detail oriented. In the consultation appointment, I can see he cares about our experience and what the vision for our room would be like. For someone like us with little knowledge about construction, he explained to us exactly what they would do and why we should do something. During the project, he closely monitored and always asked what we thought about the current progress to make sure we were satisfied with what we were seeing. All of the little details to make the room look nice are all taken care of, and I think that is important. The construction crews were always on time and nice to talk to. They cleaned everything up nicely after the work is done. My wife and I are avid researchers and make sure to do our homework on any big purchases or projects; we chose We Do Construction after calling dozens of companies and getting multiple quotes and we're very happy that we did. Jacob and Shai came in for a project that started one way and ended with various changes and additions due to things outside of their control. I will say that there were occasional bumps in communication but that they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. It was great working with Jacob and the We Do Construction team. We had our guest and master baths remodeled. We had an engaging conversation when we met for the first time to talk about our project. He was very detailed oriented taking photos and measurements and we got a detailed quote fast. He made our vision come true. The construction process was pretty smooth. I liked that there was a Google sheet to keep track of all the items we needed for the bathroom remodels. There was a WhatsApp group chat to keep everything organized with payments, construction updates, and inspection schedules. They made sure to put up barriers to keep dust out of other areas of our home. They made it easy to get our custom glass for our shower and custom counter fabricated and installed. If there were any issues that we encountered, they made sure to fix them. After the bathrooms were completed, they had cleaners come to clean the bathrooms and deep clean the rugs.
