I have a problem writing this review and how many stars to give it. I'd prefer to give it a 2 1/2…read more Sent here by my family doctor because of some back pain I had experienced. I just didn't come away with a good feeling about the Dr. or place. Receptionist was nice. Tech, meh. Dr...don't get me started. Although he seemed nice and spent time with me he greeted me with " Hi, your EKG is abnormal you could have had a heart attach at some time." I almost freaked out. Then he wanted me to do a nuclear study and I refused. So we agreed to have an Echocardiogram and a Stress Echocardiogram and see what those tests showed. I was seen in the Riverview office. Echocardiogram done in Riverview office. I was quite surprised they had a man doing this test on a woman since my chest would be exposed. Not good. He was nice and professional, but I was quite uncomfortable. Stress Echocardiogram done in the Brandon office. Again Receptionist seemed nice, one tech ok, the other not very friendly (both female so helped with the comfort issue) Test went fine and was easier than I thought it would be. My biggest issue was that both offices were dirty. I was amazed just how dirty they were. From dust bunnies on the floor to strings of dust hanging from the vents in the ceiling, to the bottom of the EKG machine was black (it was a white machine). If I noticed this the first time I went to each office, don't the people who work there notice it? Have one more visit with the Dr. to get the official results (I already know the echo was normal). After that, not sure I will return.

I saw Noor Azam late yesterday for my echocardiogram and PET scan results. On my drive home, I…read morethought about questions that I should have asked. After doing online research, I realized that she didn't address a possible issue. I called today to ask her three questions and had to leave a message with an office associate who would pass my questions on to her. I received a call back from the associate informing me that Ms. Azam said she answered my questions during the appointment (which she didn't); however, I could go back in for another appointment to discuss my concerns. I have NEVER had a doctor UNWILLING to answer patient questions over the phone or through a patient portal. You can't even leave a message on the patient portal, you have to call. I just saw her yesterday and she refuses to answer a few questions over the phone!? Is she ONLY interested in collecting my copay and billing my insurance? What about the health of the patient?

They would screw appointments...their tech/nurse was constantly, openly rude to me...they didn't care. There were SEVERAL instances of their unbelievable behavior...here is one from my letter of complaint to John Couris, president of Tampa General Hospital: "I will NEVER understand why you and your staff treated me the way you did. I did NOTHING wrong...I am happy to share what happened to me in reviews. I went to their clinic in Sun City Center...and that turned out to be a massive nightmare. I'm 65 right now and have never...NEVER met people as inept and rude as the staff that runs this place. It is almost funny it is so bad...but when you are on the receiving end of their nastiness...it is really ugly. Here is just ONE event I endured with these people. 1) My appointment with Dr. Lamielle was for 1 PM 2) I arrived at 12:45, checked-in, told to take a seat (usual stuff) 3) Soon, it is after 2PM so I walk up to the next open window to ask how much longer. 4) The girl says to me "Oh! You are really late!!" 5) I said no, I had been waiting since 12:45. 6) This office manager walks up and points out where I had indeed been checked in. 7) The girl said I missed my appointment but could come back in 6 weeks. (No, I am not kidding...they both told me that.) I was so angry, I just walked away but not before I asked how on earth could I have missed my appointment when I was there, on time and waiting. She told me the doctor did not have time to see me now, but I could come back in 6 weeks. UNBELIEVABLE!!!" To add to this lunacy, the doctor actually called me at home, a few days later, at 9PM at night (yep, that late at night) and told me he actually wasn't even in the clinic that day. So...ummmmm...wait a minute here! What the hell is going on? You lied? They lied? Why was I asked to even be there!?!?!? Hopefully, this clinic will shut down or, learn how to deal with patients in an appropriate manner instead of doing what they did to me. They are unprofessional, rude, and clearly incompetent. Sadly, this is the "Shared Purpose Statement" for Tampa General Hospital We heal. We teach. We innovate. Care for everyone. Every day. ...that certainly was NOT my experience with TGMG.

I was there because I thought I might be having a problem with a prior surgery, that thankfully turned out to be nothing. There are two unique things about this office. The office staff from the receptionist to the doctor are all just really really nice cheerful people (Dr. Bailey, Erin, Jennifer, Kat). A friendly greeting on entering, and a wait time of only a few minutes of being seen. What other doctor's office have you ever gone to where you are offered Hershey's Kisses, Dove chocolate, and you are asked several times by different people if you would like a bottle or water or coffee while you wait. After my initial exam I had to wait for Kat, the ultrasound tech, to free up. Dr. Bailey personally asked again if I would like something to drink. I said a coffee would be nice, and a few minutes later Dr. Bailey personally brought me a freshly brewed coffee to enjoy while I waited. I know people won't choose a doctor based on office amenities. So I will add that Dr. Bailey is one of the finest, professional, compassionate, and caring physicians I have ever met. He really knows his specialty. I have had two surgical procedures performed by him as well as several follow ups, and am always impressed. I did have a different vascular surgeon in the past, and that experience led me to switch to Dr. Bailey. He was recommended to me by another wonderful physician, Dr. Uttamchandani, who I trust enough to have taken his recommendation without reservation.
