**DANGEROUS HOTEL AND FILTHY** do not stay here! There are illegal activities going on at this property. I witnessed people buying drugs from some of the rooms across from mine. I also had to change rooms three times- 1st room (103) reeked of cigarette smoke even though it's non smoking. The front desk admitted people still smoke in the rooms regardless of the signs. He showed me another room (135) that I accepted cause i had to rush to my business meetings. When I came back, i noticed the drawers were broken, the floors were filthy, there was poop and bodily fluids on the walls and door, my bed sheets were dirty, the shower was dirty and not working properly, etc. I told the front desk right away with photos and spoke to Harry who apologized and said there's no other rooms available and they would have housekeeping clean at 9am the next day. I slept on a blanket i brought from my car since i felt so paranoid about the cleanliness. I waited for housekeeping and they never came so i saw a woman with glasses cleaning the room next to mine and asked about it because i had to be at several meetings that day. She never apologized, gave me a nasty attitude, argued with me and denied the filth even though I showed her in person. I was very upset so I went to the front desk again and spoke to a guy there who apologized on her behalf and acknowledged the room was dirty when I showed him the photos. He moved me to a new room (222) upstairs that was much better. This room had a couch. After all my meetings, I came back to the hotel to pay directly for my 3rd night at a discounted rate. (My first two nights were booked through hotels.com). My friend slept over and when we realized the couch had a pull out bed, we pulled it out and the mattress was burnt and upside down, when we flipped it over, there was a poop stain that was never cleaned. This means the staff doesnt thoroughly check their rooms and clean them in a safe and sanitary manner. I was disgusted. The front desk rep, Harry saw it in person, acknowledged how bad it is and didn't have another mattress so he gave us sheets. The next day I showed pictures of the poop stain to the front desk at check out and demanded a refund. He became rude and said i have to wait for the manager to call me. 3 days of calling with no answers and rude staff, I finally spoke to the "manager" mr. Patel who refuses to give me a full refund and said my service dog's hair damaged their property and he can sue me. He was extremely rude, he yelled at me and said the only way he will give me a refund for the last night is if I email him all the details and say my first 2 nights were great except the last night and then he will refund me. He's basically asking me to lie. This is coercion and blackmail just so I can receive a refund for my terrible experience. Not to mention the fear for my safety seeing the homeless and drug addicts staying in rooms near mine. This is unacceptable and disgusting. I will not lie so they can keep the money but they will be in big trouble since I have a witness and photo proof of everything.

My items in trash bags outside my room. (They were neatly packed before she stuffed them in trash bags)

We've been to quite a few…read moreafternoon tea venues now and I would say this place probably ranks somewhere close to the bottom in terms of food/tea, but the ambience somewhat makes up for it. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Taste -- The tea probably came off the local supermarket shelf, which is fine, but let's just say that we are pretty serious about our tea. My friend literally pulled a sachet of tea out of her bag and we were tempted to ask them to use that instead. The scones were dense but tasty. We were surprised that they were not served with clotted cream. The savory sandwiches were just OK -- pickled cucumbers, smoked salmon, and chicken salad on slightly stale baguettes. There was a slice of red velvet cake, a dry macaron, and a square of a mango mousse reminiscent of those you get at an Asian buffet. 0.5/1 Stars for Value -- We pre-booked online for a regular tea set on a Sunday, it was $39 before tax and tip. If we were rating by sheer picture perfect presentation, sure, your money is well spent. But I would eat before you come and maybe grab some McDs after. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- Our server was super nice and friendly. It wasn't busy when we went and he let me chill at the table while I waited for my friends to arrive. They also didn't pressure us to leave, coming back multiple times to offer tea refills. My friends stayed and chatted for almost 4 hours. No bonus star because, even though the ostriches are cool, would not come back again for the afternoon tea.

Of course the first slot machine we went to hit and we started up $300, which we essentially gave back as we were chasing the big win. A guy next us said 'It only takes one spin to win' and we took that a little too literally lol. We played a variety of the machines, but the most luck we had was with the Top Dollar Machines, the others weren't lucky this time around. While we only left up $30, we spent 3 hours of fun just playing away. Something I haven't seen at any other casino was a free soda and non-alcoholic drink areas! It's Pepsi products though, so not the best, but at least it's free. I saw people ordering smoothies, which looked really good but we never stayed at a slot machine long enough to get one. We came on a Thursday, and it was bummer that there was only (1) blackjack table going with a $5 minimum. I walked by multiple times and there was never an open seat. Plenty of seats of pai gow or poker though. Maybe it was just the time of day, but definitely would love to try my hand at blackjack next time around.

I am staying at the hotel where this restaurant is located. In fact, the positive reviews of the…read morefood was part of the reason I chose this hotel. However, after my experience tonight, I will not return. Basically, I sat in the bar and wanted a plate of pasta with clams. I told the server when he came by that I wanted the vongele. I meant the pasta with clams. However, instead, I got an appetizer order of plain clams. arguably this was my fault, but the server never came back to check on how I was doing. as a result I did not have the opportunity to order some pasta to eat with my clams. I later on asked the server for a menu. He brought me a menu and then never returned to ask me if I wanted to order anything in addition. This is some of the poorest service I have ever had in an Italian restaurant. First, the server should've clarified whether I wanted just clams or whether I wanted them with pasta. I should've gotten some follow up to ask how I was doing so I could have amended my order. Third after I asked for a menu I should've been asked if I wanted to order anything else. for all else failing I should have been offered some sort of comped food or something. He could've said can I bring you a the house or a cup of coffee to make it up to you for sitting and being ignored for your entire meal. When I finally stood up and went and got the check to pay for my meal because I had become so frustrated. I was no longer willing to wait, the server who is also apparently also tending Bar told me "perhaps I shouldn't have let the second server leave early." that's an understatement. I wanted to order more food and just did not have the opportunity. I would've expected the server to comp me the clam appetizer or do something to try to make this negative experience a little bit more tolerable however he did nothing. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time and that the place was seriously understaffed. I can realize this while at the same time say that if a restaurant is going to charge pretty hefty prices for a good meal, the place should be staffed well enough to bring me some darn food. I thought about giving this place to stars, but the clams themselves were not that bad. The focaccia was mediocre. I would not give this place a second chance. I recognize that I'm sitting in my hotel room feeling pretty hungry and I'm probably writing a more severe review than if my stomach were full. Oh well.

I remember taking the kids here when they were little and that was over 10 years ago…read more We came over from over the East Bay to beat the heat and brought our pup. When trying to decide where to get dinner on Main Street, we couldn't make a decision. My husband suggested Cameron's so we drove over. Dog Friendly: Lucked out with a spot in front of the patio! Lucked out with a table (anywhere) to sit with our dog. They offer water bowls and toys to play with while we're dining. My dog was able to chill for the most part (larger dogs make our rescue pup nervous) but he liked the couple behind us. Eclectic: It's a cool place with different dining areas. They were setting up for Karaoke (Friday/Saturday nights). There's so much to explore with all the knick knacks. The playlist in the dining room area was a wide range of music - I don't know how to explain it but you're listening to "It's a Small World" and then "Sweet Caroline!" You have to see it for yourself. The gender assigned restrooms are located in between the pinball machines. I literally walked outside and then walked back in when I finally found it and was embarrassed! Food: We split the special of the day - prime rib sandwich, but my husband was still hungry and we split a sampler platter. The food was what I expected - pub grub but it was worth it with the vibe. Drink: I usually don't drink but their cocktails were really good. I forgot what I had but it was the rum based drink. Overall, I hope I don't wait another 10 years to return - that was a great ending to our day trip to Half Moon Bay.

The food was good, could have been a little better, I had fish and chips and partner had the shepards' pie. The fish and chips were good I would totally eat them again. But the shepard's pie was not good. It was completely unseasoned. He tried adding some HP sauce to a few bites, adding salt and pepper, and just could not make it edible. he was really disappointed because that is one of his favorites. I told him he should mention it and see if they could bring him something else, but he was adamant that would just make more work for them and he'd feel bad. I did remind him that shepards' pie is not a very seasoned meal. And he said it wasn't just that, but that everything tasted like it came out of tin. I reminded him, as a human who has lived in England, that this was also not out of the ordinary. We did decide we'd try it again next time we were over that way, and he already has chosen something else to try, so the rest of it (including his Mango Cider) was good enough to have him not give up on it. But maybe steer clear of the Shepard's Pie?

Amazing homemade German food!…read more We tried this restaurant on a recommendation while visiting the area, and we were absolutely delighted by both the food and the service. We ordered the bratwurst, red cabbage salad, German potato salad, potato pancakes, spätzle, and Jägerschnitzel. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was honestly hard to pick a favorite because everything was so delicious, but if I had to choose, the Jägerschnitzel absolutely stole the show! For dessert, we had the freshly baked apple strudel, and it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. You could taste how fresh everything was--from the flaky, buttery pastry to the warm apples and even the homemade whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. This is a great spot whether you're dining as a couple or with a larger group. If you're planning to come with more than five people, I'd recommend calling ahead to see if they can accommodate your party with a reservation. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Guerneville!

Not inviting so we sat at a high boy in the darkened bar, which was much nicer. I'm sure it's beautiful to sit on the balcony in the summer on warm nights. We chatted with the German owner who was doubling as a bartender, who was very nice. We loved the German influences in the bar, as we had just been to Oktoberfest in Munich. The owner's daughter Sarah runs the kitchen. My husband had a pork tenderloin schnitzel "Vienna style" ($20) and I had a jaegerschnizel with mushroom gravy ($20) and both were excellent. We split the potato pancakes (two with sour cream and apple sauce, $12) which were served crispy but tasty. They had a nice German beer and wine list. We finished with a delicious apple strudel to complete a lovely meal. I recommend this restaurant for tasty dinners in a unique venue.
