    At the bar.. Go Niners!

It's been quite sometime since I've been to Cameron's Inn Restaurant of Half Moon Bay. I'm always astonished by the wild decor inside! Upon entering there's wall to wall signage, ads, stickers, pictures, posters, props, trinkets, conversation pieces galore. You could spend a day just admiring the decorations and appreciate the time dedicated to make the place as amusing as it is! The food is anything and everything you'd expect from a pub/ burger joint. Full bar and flat-screens throughout to enjoy your favorite ball team or boxing match. We tackled the famous Fish N Chips and were not disappointed. Also had the Sweet Potato Fries and Garlic Fried Calamari. I would have to say "Fried" is a popular way to have your food if you come to Cameron's. Two blocks from the Pacific Ocean, Cameron's Restaurant & Inn is definitely worth a visit.

This was our first time in and I was wowed at the entrance. This place is pretty cool. There are so many decorations we never ran out of things to talk about. We were allowed to pick our own seating and decided on a little nook with red lite ambulance. We were well taken care of by the staff upon being seated. The cocktails are a bit pricey but they were tasty. The food was a like a warm blanket by the fire. Cozy and confronting. We will definitely be going back.

Fun English pub ! Kid friendly ! Good vibes, service was a little slow Beer selection was on point A large selection for apps and main courses Generous portions! Got the wings, kids Mac n cheese, fish and chips, onion rings Food was hot and good taste :) Beer was refreshing - got the Smithicks Red and an Amber Ale The pub has an actual double decker bus parked outside - which you can explore ! Fun !

Cameron's Restaurant & Inn is one of the coolest places you will encounter in all of Half Moon Bay! A serious adult playground that has so much vibe you'll never want to leave! Stopped for drink and wished we started with this place first. They have so many options and I would have truly exploded if they had an asteroids machine here! Cool service and the owner was super approachable! Love this place a must visit!

Fun, kitschy joint in Half Moon Bay with warm service and lots of fried options. Would definitely recommend trying Cameron's to round off a visit to Half Moon. The decor is all about MAXIMALISM -- think Chilis/Applebees/Cracker Barrel style but with a decidedly British take, innit. Fish and chips is the clear classic here. The London Tower of onion rings was a fun way to start the meal, and the extensive beer menu was just what we were hoping for from a British pub. Be prepared for a bit of heartburn after the meal -- it's fried pub food, after all -- but the plentiful parking out front means you don't have a long walk from the table to the car. The real highlight, however, was our server -- she was a local schoolteacher in Half Moon Bay and went out of her way to help us feel welcomed and celebrate our weekend vacation in her town. We made sure to leave a nice tip; so glad to see a local place keep the lifeblood of the community flowing!

Last time here I was in elementary school. Food to me is good, priced decent enough, I like the decor and remember most of it years back so old memories still there. Ordered the seafood platter and chose chili cheese fries. Our server was nice and did good job taking our orders.

First time dining here- was craving fish & chips. Saturday afternoon and horses tied up out front- loved it. Nice batter on fish, good tarter sauce, tasty rough cut fries. Large portion. Service was attentive. Baseball game on in the bar with a lively crowd.

A great family get together- personally I prefer it for a winter's meal. We went for a late lunch after cutting our Christmas tree. I had the Shepard's pie with the hot cider for the beverage. It was the perfect warm cozy lunch to begin the holiday season. My daughter had a blast with the video games and claw machine they provide for the kids. The pub is packed with British decor- memorabilia and trinkets. A very fun, festive spot with good food. Highly recommend for a family gathering and parties.

A nice eclectic place. Good food, beverages and atmosphere for the whole family. Fun activities and friendly staff.

Great experience! The service we got from Rachel was phenomenal. So nice, and she even helped us find a campground for the night! The ambiance was also incredible, suchhh a cool vibe, definitely would even come just to experience that. As for the food, also delicious. We got the roasted garlic brie as an appetizer and fish and chips as a main (both 10/10). The ciders were also so so good! Highly recommend trying this place:)

Every time in half moon bay(more often than is reasonable) I've always made sure to end the day by winding down for a bit at Cameron's. It's about the experience here more than anything and the decor is packed with an incredible amount of variety and there's history everywhere. The food is more than serviceable, lots of crispy fried foodstuffs, good pizza and friendly people. I'd say it's worth visiting at least once.

Are there heaters on dog patio?

I'm afraid not, Sammye. We opted, during the pandemic to install tenting over that area, and originally had heaters as well. But the county decided that was not safe, and does not allow heaters now in that situation. So it is covered, and protected… Read more

    How is their clam chowder?

I think my review states that this is the best clam chowder I have found in the area! They use real cream, not corn starch filler and most like Mom's I've ever tasted.

How good is the WiFi in the restaurant?

Generally speaking, it's pretty good. That said, we have had a few problems on occasion with spotty availability and inconsistency. Bottom line is that it is good and stable far more often than it is not. That may sound like equivocating, but I'm… Read more

Curious about what the new/old place is like, our three-person family went there for a late breakfast today. Walking up to the front doors, the original inset stained glass remains. Walking in, the cool wood paneling and nautical decor remains in place with a couple of new touches. The fully appointed bar also remains, now with a more streamlined look with subtle lighting changes. We were greeted pleasantly and seated inside the dining room immediately; it was moderately busy and buzzing, not too loud. Our server was quick to our table, menu-knowledgeable and consistent in his attention to us. We had a Denver omelette, a couple of bennies and lemon ricotta pancakes to share. My omelette had particularly fresh and al fresca peppers and onions - wonderful. The lemon ricotta pancakes were sufficiently saturated and fluffy(hard to pull off)and came with fresh cream. The prices were at about the same level as the local competition, which pleasantly surprised us. It appears that the folks who did this breakfast/lunch reboot were shrewd in pricing their dishes. Jetty Wave, a drinks and appetizers adventure(which I heartily recommend as well for different reasons)in the northwestern part of Princeton, is not for the fiscally faint hearted. The only element that makes our experience short of a 5 is that we were not given a farewell when we left, though I was able to find our friendly server and thanked him. In all, the Joanne's legacy is intact - the old carved wood Ketch Joanne sign still hangs inside - literally and figuratively a homage to its legacy while bringing a new energy to this space. Recommended.

We stopped by for lunch on a crisp day, and it completely captured that perfect coastal vibe--think fresh seafood, laid-back atmosphere, and killer views of the boats and water. We started with the calamari, which was hands-down some of the best I've ever had: tender, not rubbery at all, perfectly seasoned and fried, melting in your mouth. The New England-style clam chowder was rich, creamy, with just the right subtle smokiness and balanced seasoning--definitely lives up to Half Moon Bay's chowder reputation. For mains, the Dungeness crab sandwich was the star: generous lumps of sweet local crab, minimal sauce (just how I like it), on toasted sourdough with fries on the side. My partner went with the fish and chips, and the cod was crispy, flaky, and not greasy at all--classic done right. The outdoor patio with fire pits was cozy even in cooler weather, and our server was super friendly, attentive, and full of local recommendations. The place feels welcoming, whether you're a regular from the Coastside or just passing through after a beach walk or harbor stroll. Prices are fair for the fresh, quality ingredients and location--definitely worth it. We've already added it to our list for the next trip to Half Moon Bay. Highly recommend if you're craving solid seafood in a charming harborside setting! 5/5 stars.

A 12 min drive towards La Honda from Alice is Apple Jack's where its manager, Ruger, enlisted his Chef friend, Charlie, to offer a small, but yummy menu for primarily meat lovers. He cooks on the back grill and rest prepped in cozy kitchen. You pay either cash or Venmo directly to Chef. I ordered the hamburger with cheese, blue cheese salad, and "adult" mac & cheese cause it's spicy not spiked with alcohol as I thought. $30 for everything. The portions are ample to split between hubby and me then wash down with a cold cider from the tap. I ate with my eyes. The salad ingredients were fresh and generous with the dressing heavy handed. The chef prepared burger the perfect med-rare so not bloody. The burger and mac& cheese were not greasy. So my aging stomach gratefully didn't require anti-acid remedy. There is local homemade turkey stew for non beef eaters, which I would like to try when weather is colder. I'm also intrigued by the steak bits over mash. There is outdoor seating. It's good for a large group or want to listen to tranquility of forest & creek (with the occasional zoom of a car driving by) instead of chatter of locals catching up on the day, cracking of pool balls, or inquisitive visitors want to learn more about life in La Honda. One of the two dog ambassadors, Lucy (I think), will come by to let you pet her or feed her a treat from the jar on the counter while she sniffs around for food that "accidentally" fall from your plate to eat. The women's restroom was clean and bright better than most dive bars. Apple Jack's watering hole ambience is not for everyone.
