We were up in the area this past weekend and decided to scratch the gambling itch. Once we arrived, we went to go get players cards, and turns out I haven't been here since 2008, and it's definitely expanded since then. Of course the first slot machine we went to hit and we started up $300, which we essentially gave back as we were chasing the big win. A guy next us said 'It only takes one spin to win' and we took that a little too literally lol. We played a variety of the machines, but the most luck we had was with the Top Dollar Machines, the others weren't lucky this time around. While we only left up $30, we spent 3 hours of fun just playing away. Something I haven't seen at any other casino was a free soda and non-alcoholic drink areas! It's Pepsi products though, so not the best, but at least it's free. I saw people ordering smoothies, which looked really good but we never stayed at a slot machine long enough to get one. We came on a Thursday, and it was bummer that there was only (1) blackjack table going with a $5 minimum. I walked by multiple times and there was never an open seat. Plenty of seats of pai gow or poker though. Maybe it was just the time of day, but definitely would love to try my hand at blackjack next time around. read more

Bring back the lobster buffet! Before COVID, I was a regular customer and used to visit every week specifically for the lobster buffet. It was hands down the best! If management ever decides to bring the lobster buffet back, it would be incredible. Hoping to see it return soon! read more

My kids and I stayed at their hotel for the weekend. The check in and out was smooth and simple. Every front desk personnel was personable and pleasant. The room itself was clean and nice. Very spacious. So is the balcony. The hospitality team were efficient and just as friendly the front desk. I was hoping my kids could experience the rancheria buffet. Being it be their first time to this casino. I was hoping they'd bring it back post Covid. It was literally the best dining establishment here. And I've been to this casino when it was just some tables and slot machines. Bout 30 years. Wishful thinking the rancheria buffet returns. Other than that, the parking lot in front of the hotel is usually filled. But there's plenty of spots in the garage. It's a nice stay amongst other places in the area. read more

We stayed a night with our trailer in the RV park and saw a show on a Saturday night. The RV park was nice, the spots were not as close as some parks can be. We ended up eating both dinner and breakfast at Margaret's Cafe. Not many vegetarian options for dinner, but the food was good. We would certainly visit again. read more

First, let me say up front that we go to Jackson Rancheria for my wife to do a little gaming when we are in the area. Occasionally we add a nice dinner at the Wolf Restaurant into the bargain, but as a rule, it is only she who does the gaming while I get my steps in walking the grounds (always a pleasant experience. . Our experience has been good each time, and I can't recall my wife being hesitate to return, or being unhappy with anything about the place. Most recently we stopped by and I was expecting to sit and have a cocktail, but came on a day when they weren't available. A kindly security person directed me to an area with a soda fountain (gratis) and three TVs with a golf game playing. So I can add my vote that all interactions have been positive. read more

We come to Bingo occasionally, mostly when we are staying at the campground. Inside the bingo hall it's non-smoking (thank goodness)! There's complimentary soft drinks, coffee and hot chocolate. We've never won once, so that's probably why we don't come more frequently. All the employees in there are very friendly. I like the tablets, some of the pull tab/paper games are a little confusing it just takes awhile to get the hang of it. I used to come here decades ago when I turned 18. I'm now almost 40 and have finally returned and oh how nostalgic it is. Back then, I only had enough cash to book a room for a night and did not gamble at all. Now, I am able to book 2 night stays (all comped) because slots are always calling my name. Haha. This casino has always been pretty good with paying out too and there's plenty of machines to choose from. They have serve yourself coffee and soft drink areas and that's always a plus. The rooms are huge and very clean. My husband and I have never had any issues with noise or anything. Staff are all very friendly as well. The only issue is that the hotel isn't connected to the casino but there's a walkway that leads you to it. There's also a shuttle service if you have anyone in your party who can't walk far. House keeping are great and on top of it- I personally just asked for trash to be empty only. The dislikes: I was on the 2nd floor and who ever was on top of me was very noisy stumping (could have been kids) but I doubt it.) they don't have microwaves in the rooms and you can rent one either. I had leftovers from the restaurant and put them in the fridge - never check the temperature and it was off so all my food was wasted. I've been here three times now and it was pretty nice time each time. It's pretty decent size inside, although I don't have too much casino experience. There are various tables bunched together in the center with some minimum buy in as low as $5 and $10. I stuck with the machines though. Nice variety of machines, and a small non-smoking room with slots/machines if you want to escape the cigarette smoke. There are three restaurants inside, with one staying open until midnight. I would NEVER go back to this casino. It was by far thee WORST experience at a casino I've ever had. I took my mom, dad, & aunt. We booked two rooms and the hotel staff was excellent (that's why they even got a star). Nevertheless, the variety of the slot machines sucked. We noticed for a Friday night there wasn't a lot of people and now I know why. Not a lot of winning either. The customer service is beyond terrible when it comes to the people on the floor. The people who switch out the money are extremely rude! I kid you not EVERY area we went in they came shortly after & told us we needed to move. This happened a total of 4 times. So while in the non-smoking section (3rd location we moved to after we were run out to other areas) we were told we'd have to leave by one guy. So my aunt was in her bonus play, I had cashed out, & my mom was in the process of cashing out & then another lady came and told us we needed to move. At this point I'm irritated because it felt like they were following us. So I told her we know already, someone told us & that my aunt was finishing her bonus round. That lady replied WELL CASH OUT & BACK AWAY FROM THE MACHINE. I asked her who the hell she thought she was talking to. My parents & aunt are in their 70's almost 80's. I found that sooooo disrespectful. So I told them to stand outside of that section I was gonna report her. I was advised to report it to the security which I did & he was very nice saying he's told them before, indicating to me they've had issues in the past. So I pointed her out & explained she didn't have to be so rude. He agreed. So we moved for the 4th time. No lie, they came right to where we were AGAIN! So the same security man came by and apologized assuring they were not following us. That's when I asked well where are they going next so WE don't go because this is ridiculous. It was back by where we were initially made to leave. Which makes no sense. Nothing was that night/morning. I've been to multiple casinos and when they "clean" out the machines I have NEVER been asked to leave. They work around me & when I'm done they come back. Another downside is they don't have any place to eat or grab a snack after 1am. And the stores/cafes/restaurants don't open until 8 pm. They only have a vending machine with typical snacks. Nevertheless the two ladies at the cashiers window & the hotel staff were very nice along with the security. Oh and I forgot to mention, the rude beverage lady. She was passing by with a cart full of water. I kindly asked her for two waters for myself & mom she put up her finger as if motion to hold on & went to take someone's order. So I politely went to her cart & asked her for 2 waters AGAIN, she handed them to me and I walked away. She had the audacity to serve everyone around us until she only had 1 water left then double backed to us asking if we wanted water. It takes no effort to hand me 2 waters while passing. I said unbelievable. She literally had a cart full of water. I'd never recommend this casino. The hotel was nice, modern, & spacious for what it was. read more

well, I live in the area and I must say I use to frequent the casino damn near daily. That is until today. it's Sunday and sometimes I like to go to all the casinos in the area. I started with Harrahs in Ione. I did a bit of winning as usual, then I stopped at Acron. my time there was well worth it. Jackpot! Then I head down to Jackson after stopping at home to have the machine say "call attendant wrong paper." my ticket was $82.34. when the attendant finally came after I went to get her, she could not get it to work so she started to ask me what the amount was, five ... I stopped her right there. No, more like $82 and change. she did not believe me so called whoever to ask what it was, turns out I was right. she goes on to hand write me a ticket to take to cash box. I said okay and thank you. when at the cash widow, this b---- had the nerve to question if that was the correct amount. She was trying to talk about me to whoever was standing behind her, but I could she her rolling her eyes and making a face. and here we go again, calling to verify that the amount is correct. sense when do these ----- b------ stereo type me or anyone else. I had spent over $300 in there and this worker is going to question wether I have the money or not! I want to give everyone a heads up, this is the worst casino around, they manipulate the machines more than any other casino. Acron is a little smaller but all the staff is friendly and more wins. Harrahs is the same, no judging of the patrons. Red Hawk is alright, they opened up a poker room. it's hoping! this one is weak. Sky River is a decent place with lots of older games as well as new ones. Not that my business will hurt them but people need to know what assholes work there. the cocktail waitress are the best people there! beware, they only want your money with no return factor. read more

I've been going to Jackson Rancheria on and off for a long time (over 30 years) Although they have made some nice improvements over the years, customer service and respect for players is not something they think is important. The pit mangers at the table games are the worst in Northern California. Question something their dealers did wrong and they get pissed and take it personally instead of addressing the concerns players might bring to their attention. This review is for BINGO! We went to play bingo and we had a good time. The payouts were good, the staff are very helpful and nice. The machines are new and clean. You can use just the machines or machine/paper combos. We chose just the machines. The hall was immaculately clean. They have vending machines for snacks and free beverages (soda, water, coffee) inside the bingo hall. You can also bring your own food. I would go back for sure! I was cold, so if you get cold easy be sure you bring a sweater just in case. I would rather be cold than hot though! This isn't a complaint, just a suggestion. read more

We were recently evacuated from Copperopolis due to the Aero fire and reached out to the hotel for a place to stay. They were beyond supportive and even moved rooms around so that we were able to stay in our time of need while they were sold out for rooms. Our personal thanks to Robin for her empathy as she showed genuine concern for our health and safety. Thank you again! The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Lots of water and coffee available at no extra charge. However, the casino itself tended to be a bit tight, though winnings were to be had on the right slot machines. Food was yummy! Had a New Years Day dinner at the Lone Wolf. I ordered with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce.the 18 oz. Prime rib with veggies and baked potato. My wife ordered the linguini with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce. On this occasion, the prime rib was very good, a medium rare and very tender. The veggies somewhat disappointing as it did look appetizing, and the small whole carrot very firm and under cooked! My wife requested more slices of lemon to add flavor to the lemon sauce. Chef should have tasted the sauce before before it was served. Overall, service and servings were very good! read more

I think the hotel could definitely use a remodel. We have always checked out early; because you can hear the pipes all night, when people use water in other rooms. The stander rooms are dusty & beds are uncomfortable, but if you get a suite they are a lot nicer. The Lone Wolf restaurant is nice. They do have a lot of gluten free options. When it comes to desserts they do not have any sugar free options. The casino is decent. I have not won a jackpot in years, but I don't really see anyone else win either. They do have a lot of new machines & I usually break even.... So it's not all bad. read more

PLEASE STOP SENDING ME ADVERTISEMENTS. They made sure I knew that they are exempt from lawsuits. So, make sure nothing happens to you while on their property. They'll make sure the Tribe denies your claim. They wouldn't even take responsibility for having a defective product. They ask me, did I think it was a manufacturer issue. Best hotel stay we have had in a long time. This review is for the hotel and Margaret's Cafe. We stayed on a Sunday night spur of the moment. We were so impressed with the spacious room and the fact that we had a balcony! We enjoyed sitting out there in the evening having a glass of wine before walking over to the casino. We had no idea that the hotel was a separate building so we lugged everything through the casino looking for signs and found none so finally asked... We hadn't seen any signs driving in either, so maybe they can improve that? The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. They have free k-cup coffee in the room but also gave us vouchers for a free pastry in the hotel lobby which was quite nice. We decided to eat at Margaret's out of convenience and boy was the food great! We had burgers and the food came fast and was freshly made and a decent price! We would eat there again for sure. We've eaten the seafood buffet a couple of times in the past and it is wonderful as well! There is always a wait so be prepared for that, but man, most seafood in one buffet hands down!
