Once you find which building is the main entry (it's well marked) the docents take exceptional care of you. The visitors set up the video for us and some other visitors and I highly recommend taking the time to watch it to understand the menhaden industry and why the museum is here. Then we spent a LOT of time looking at the exhibits in the main building. Everything you could want to know about the local area and its fishing & maritime history. Lots of artifacts, models, dioramas, visual aides, etc. Afterwards we went outside and visited the ships that they have for their hands on education. I really want to come back and sail on the skipjack. Finally we ended at the train museum. That thing is spectacularly impressive. No idea why it is related to the mission of the museum but it definitely fills the "unique & interesting" bucket. Sadly it is only running when the right volunteers are around so hopefully it matches your exhibit. Someone(s) have spent a LOT of time & money on that & it is novel to take in.

When finally speaking to someone I was promised I'll take care of this and call you right away. 2 days passed no phone call no contact. (The facility is less than one mile from the site I needed delivery to.). I called once again to see if my box was scheduled. And was told "oh no, we don't have any and can't deliver one". I questioned why it took this long to determine this " I'm new" is what I was told. I asked why wasn't I called, " oh you're right, I should have called you, that is my fault". " I'm new "., and " she will refund your payment", was the response. I was then told to " have a nice day" and she disconnected call. Needless to say I do not recommend using this group. I try to "buy local", however the local service needs to step up.

Stephen was kind and friendly, making sure I understood everything they were finding and what they planned do it, all while making sure I didn't feel talked down to. They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. I highly recommend reaching out to them and hope you get Stephen as your guy if you ever have plumbing issues.
