Great first visit. Friendly, kind, thoughtful staff. Delicious soups (tomato corn with blue cheese is fantastic! Cheese makes flavors come alive!), paninis and wraps packed with meat. Turkey panini is a favorite. There's a portobello alternative for vegans (highly recommended by non-vegans), and delicious sides. The broccoli salad has sunflower seeds and craisins! The potato salad was so mouthwatering good that it went down so fast, I can't tell you much about it! Their outside dining is pet friendly including providing pet water bowls and doggie treats. Simply the best food in the area! Open for breakfast and lunch. Awesome recipes and chiefs! You might try to duplicate at home, but just go back and enjoy the service, inside or sidewalk dining and just plain wonderful people. The tomato bisque was tasty, creamy and delicious. The loaded potato soup was the best potato soup anywhere with just the right amount of sour cream, chives, cheese and chunks of potato. A ham panini was very tasteful. Every bite of my crawfish and sausage poboy was a bite of Cajun with just the right amount of their secret sauce to add another layer of Cajun flavor! No room for dessert this trip, but if the soups and sandwiches are any indication, they will be delicious! Keep up the GREAT tradition because we intend on coming back. read more

We have been eating here for years and return a couple of times a month. Love the food, the lively atmosphere, the awesome desserts, and the wonderful people, who have become friends, who own it. The melted cheese sandwiches are terrific, the salads, the avocado BLT is yummy, the grilled veggie sandwich fantastic, and the pies and cakes (all homemade!) are always at my table for special fun times! We're surprised that no one has reviewed this great little restaurant on Yelp. We went here Saturday for lunch and were impressed with the food. They have a pretty extensive menu, so it was hard to decide what to have. My husband ordered the Cuban panini (pork, ham, swiss, pickles and spicy mustard) with a side of Greek pasta salad, and I had a cup of the roasted corn and tomato bisque with bleu cheese crumbles and a special, "RRP Chicken Melt" panini (chicken, roasted red peppers, onions, fontina and mozzarella on ciabatta. Too full for two desserts, we shared one of their brownies. Everything we had was well-prepared, fresh tasting and delicious. Their paninis, wraps, pita pizzas and salads are all in the $7.50-$8.50 range with a choice of sides. Wait staff was friendly but the food was so-so. We had the white pizza, fried green tomato blt, shrimp and fried green tomato wrap and roasted corn and tomato bisque. White pizza wasn't too bad. Sandwich and wrap were mediocre, bacon was overcooked and hard and the fried green tomatoes were greasy. The shrimp were not fresh. Bisque was a let down, corn wasn't roasted at all. What a perfect place for a light lunch! They offered a big selection of salads and sandwiches, and the service was fast and friendly! I ordered the club panini, and it was HUGE! The bread was very fresh and was soft in the middle with a perfect crust. There was just enough meat and cheese to fill me up for most of the day! For my side, I got the fruit cup and was very pleased with the variety of fresh fruit. I could tell the fruit was cut up in the store and not pre-packaged- very delicious! read more

Food was excellent! We rode our bikes down here one day and sat outside. They have a good selection of salads, wraps, and paninis. I got the two hot dogs and a side for $7.50. I got the asian slaw which was not the best slaw but it was tasty. We split a cup of soup also that was very goo. They have an option to build your own hot dog with a list of toppings but I got their southwest and muffaletta dog which were excellent! I loved this place! The service was quick, easy and it was very family friendly. I did not feel out of place there with my little girl at all. She had the grilled cheese which was delicious! OMG, where do I start? My husband and I were traveling through when we went to Yelp to find lunch. This place had great reviews and now we know why! They staff was so nice and on the spot with their impeccable timing. They made great recommendations and the prices are very affordable. We ended up with their pick 2, soup of the day tomato and corn bisque (to die for) and a half sandwich (also amazing). After eating our soup we were both so eager to try our sandwiches we didn't even take any pictures. So to sum things up, every thing about this place is fantastic it's some where you must stop by whether you live nearby or your passing through. We were shopping in Fairhope and couldn't decide where to go for lunch. A lady saw us looking perplexed and suggested the Bay Breeze Cafe. The menu had a wide variety of choices. My husband had the special - chicken quesadilla - and a side of fresh fruit. I had the Cuban and a side of English pea salad, which I love but never see on a menu. We shared a peach cobbler a la mode for dessert. Everything was delicious. Very fresh and well prepared. We sat on the patio and enjoyed watching people go by. This is my favorite local lunch spot! Not only do they have a wonderful regular menu of flavorful soups, sandwiches and salads, they also have great daily specials making the most of what's fresh and in season. And save room for a homemade dessert! My favorite guilty pleasure is the peanut butter pie ..they don't always have it but when they do it goes fast! Just had lunch at the Bay Breeze Cafe and it was very quaint and friendly. Had the Shrimp n Conecuh sandwich. The shrimp were grilled and the Conecuh sausage was cut in bite size pieces with grilled onions. I had the grilled green peppers left off and the bang bang sauce on the side. Very good. If you are in Fairhope, stop by on Church Street. Enjoyed and will come back again. read more
