I want you to make the same mistake I did with Bay Creek park, so you'll be just as surprised as I was. When I entered the park, all I saw was the tennis court to the left, the skate course to the right, and a little play area to the far left. I thought that was it and almost turned around! But I got on my bike and peddled down the trail a bit. Thank goodness I did! Bay Creek park is a pretty large sized park with something quite literally to do for everyone. In addition to the previously mentioned tennis court and skate course, there's also a track, football field, which doubles as a soccer/lacrosse field, baseball field, basketball court, a few child play areas, and of course the paved walking/cycling trail, so whoever you are, if you can't find it here....I'm at a loss. There are a few bridges/walkways along the trail, which meanders its way in and out of the trees, but on a cycle, you can cover the length of the park in about 10 minutes. Plenty of restrooms and parking, although i'm not sure how true the parking will be during games, as Bay Creek Park is home to the Grayson Rams games, so come early during games. Very fun and open park, with not a ton of foot traffic during your before noon hours with a little bit for everyone to do!

My walk at Bay Creek Park turned out to be a little adventure. It was a warmer day than expected for a January, so as you can image the park was packed with people. Bay Creek is a pretty nice sized park. On one side towards the front you have basketball courts, and a very nice skate park. On the other side is a police department and tennis courts. In the middle is a good size play area and kids playground, along with access to the paved trial. Towards the back is a football field. The trail: On the parks website it states the trial is 1.0 miles. Humm... well not actually it's much longer depending on which direction you take. The path I chose took me out and around for about 2.3 miles. For the most part it was a very pleasant walk and scenic walk. However, the paved path I took I am not sure is an attended part of the park. I say this because the trail ends up running alongside and then straight through a newly constructed subdivision. I don't recall seeing any signs indicating this path takes you to the subdivision and ultimately a dead end (more or less). Either way if you do find yourself on this path, which again is very lovely, you have a few choices. One, you can turn around and go back once you reach the inside of the subdivision (shortly pass the water fountain); two you can cross the street and continue on the trail (note: it's a little hard to see that the trail does continue due to the layout of the subdivision, but look to the left side of the house right in front of you.) Once on this path you eventually come to a split, on both sides are a little bridge, I went right. This is where things got interesting. The path dead ends to the main street ( Ozora Rd). Here is your next choice, you can turn around and walk back (at this point your about 2 miles out) or you can walk along the main road (for about .3 miles) and circle back to the park's main entrance (note: only part of the way as a sidewalk, because they are still doing construction you will have to walk across the dirt for now). Overall, it is a nice park and with the trail veering off in multiple directions you can go a few time and have a new experience each time. Happy Trails!

Great skate park for beginners. One large bowl, half pipe, quarter pipes, volcano, lots of rails, manual pads, ramps next to all of the steps, wide open pavilion. Stays well lit once night sets in and stays open until 11:00 PM. Located next to basketball court, restrooms, water fountain and across from tennis court and playground. Lots of parking, nice benches and trash receptacles. This park appears to be very well maintained and clean, with the exception of some cigarette butts on the grassy area. The bathroom was pretty clean, but I did not see any soap dispensers.

Actually a really good park! The paved trail wraps around the whole park and also have little tracks within the park. Has two sets of playgrounds, skate park, basketball courts, softball fields, football/lacrosse/football americana field as well. Has many bathrooms for use and plenty of trash cans to keep the park clean!

Such a nice park! If you are looking for basketball courts, paved running trails, sand volleyball…read morecourts and more - this is a solid option in the area. It can be a bit confusing to navigate towards the basketball/volleyball court area, as there's a large library (I think?) you pass first to get through. The GPS will correctly lead you to the appropriate area. There is ample parking and restrooms on site at the park near the courts. Everyone was respectful of others sharing the courts, so we all had a great time. Definitely recommend.

The date…read moreand I were amazed and shocked at the size, number of people, and layout of this place when we visited this past Tuesday evening. Even the kid's playground area had fancy equipment I never thought would be in a park. This place is definitely a hangout area for high schoolers. The skating/in-line skating pits, volleyball pit, and basketball courts were filled as if there were tournaments occurring. This area is in a different part of the park and away from the kid's playground. There is another area (football field) that we didn't get to visit, but I can imagine it to be quite large. There was also a large building that seemed like a library filled with children's books, but I'm not too positive what this could be. I believe there are also walking trails and picnic areas as well. Sadly, I don't think there are tennis courts here. :( This park is definitely great for both the young and old. The best part is that this place is very clean and well lit! This definitely warrants more future visits.

Being honest, I thought Waller Park was part of Vickery Creek until I saw that it's its own park…read more As other reviewers have said, it's definitely a hidden gem, because it's a very small park, but it serves its purpose well. The name of the Waller Park Extension game are fields. Several different fields litter the area and I counted at least 4, crammed into this tiny foot print. Parking is surprisingly very spacious and in fact, there's a lower parking lot that's just behind the City of roswell office that you pass to get to another area of the park. Down below is more parking, as well as yet another soccer field. Front and center at the main portion of the park is a nice children's play area, that was being taken full advantage of by kids, and strategically placed near the play area, were benches for parents to sit and watch or just for anyone to sit and soak up the day. Park up keep is very clean and well put together. I didn't see one stray piece of trash, which is pretty cool! There is an aquatic center to the left of the park (if you're facing the children's play area), but i'm not sure if it is affiliated with the park itself. There are no hiking trails here, but my guess is you're not coming here for that, and that's cool. If you have kids, play sports or just live close, this tiny little park is your little secret. If you're looking for a hike, or a monstrous mega park, you wont find that here. Nice, clean, small park with lots of parking that gets the job done. Definitely a fan!

My friend was telling me how awesome it is....and she was right! There are lots of sports fields here and I know Roswell recreation department offers sports classes for kids. They have several swings including a tire swing and handicapped swing too. There is a pavilion are with lots of shade, and there is good shade coverage from the trees as well. There is also a huge skate park in the back!! Also community tennis courts! This seems like a great park and we will definitely be utilizing it!
