The Taj Mahal quartzite countertop and island turn out beautifully for our dream kitchen! Last but no least, Tonio was highly efficient and finished the whole project within a few days. Lyon's just installed the countertops and backsplashes in our new kitchen, and did a great job. We…read moreloved the whole process, but three incidents stand out. First, when we started shopping for slabs in the San Jose and East Bay warehouses, they told us, "When you find what you want, tell the warehouse to hold the slabs for Lyon's Marble and we'll take care of the rest." When we got the bill for the slabs, the price showed a big discount from what the warehouse had told us. Nice! Second, after the cabinets were installed, Fernando came out to measure for the countertops. We discussed how we wanted each overhang and joint to appear, then built a template out of thin wood showing us the exact dimensions. The next day, at their location, he hung the templates on the slabs so we could choose exactly where each natural pattern of the quartzite would appear in the kitchen. Fernando showed us how he would cut the backsplashes to match up seamlessly with the countertop, so that it appeared like the stone was flowing up onto the wall. Finally, during installation, everything fit perfectly. They cut seven holes in the backsplashes for light switches and outlets, and everything lined up. And just as promised, the patterns in the stone flowed from the countertop up the backsplash. We are thrilled with the work they did, and happy to recommend this local family business.

Come on !! (2) When asked to return the leftover, said sorry. I'm pretty sure making good money out of customer's leftovers. (3) Staff isn't expert or professional. Scratched my new kitchen sink, almost dropped a large slab on the floor, damaged the cooktop range hood, I can keep going. (4) They gave estimates with a bunch of vague disclaimers. This is not possible, that is not possible, not my responsibility etc etc (5) Lastly and most importantly - once the full payment was done, they didn't care to come back to fix problems in the job which were identified later.

I searched 3-4 stores for the best price on the tile for my home project. My tile came in before scheduled, I recieved my 2' x 2' tiles with no damages, and I got a fair price. Also, when we saw we had ordered a box or two short and the tile was coming from back east and had to be shipped, Louis got on it right away and made sure we had enough to finish the job with little to no lag time. Everytime a dealt with Louis, he was extemely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! I WILL be going there to get tile for my next project even thoughit is a 35-40 minute drive for me.
