I'm quite particular and I'm kind of cheap, and Javier spent time with me and found a great quartz at a reasonable price.

The wood refinishing contractor we selected to re-stain our kitchen cabinets referred us to Marcos and his team at Builtwell Marble & Granite based on their positive experiences collaborating on numerous projects. From our very first consultation, we were impressed by Marcos's professionalism, knowledge, and personable manner. Once we chose Builtwell to install our new Cambria quartz countertops, Marcos and his team exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire project. Marcos kept us informed at every stage and moved the work forward at a steady, comfortable pace--from preparing the quote and scheduling the demolition of our existing countertops to templating, fabrication, and final installation. From the time we made our initial deposit to order the Cambria material until the project was completed, the entire process took approximately four weeks, including the manufacturer's delivery time. We couldn't be happier with the results. In addition to transforming our kitchen with beautiful new white quartz countertops, Marcos and his team installed our new kitchen sink and bottle washer, expertly handled several challenging backsplash cuts around our kitchen window, and successfully removed and reinstalled our existing range hood--a task that proved to be far more complicated than expected. What stood out most was Marcos's pride in his work and his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. It was clear that he cared deeply about delivering a high-quality result and ensuring that we were happy with every aspect of the project. We highly recommend Marcos and the Builtwell Marble & Granite team and would not hesitate to work with them again.

My contractor said I may be able to pick up a remnant from Marble Stone Pros, so I went down to their warehouse. We were happy with the large selection of remnants. After picking out ours, they were able to hold it for us in the warehouse until we were ready. Once our cabinets were installed, it wasn't difficult to get an appointment for the templating. About a week or 2 later our countertop was ready for installation. They did a meticulous job installing the countertop. It looks fantastic. Even for a small job like ours, they made us feel like we were a priority. Cesar was great with returning calls, and Leslie in the office was quick to answer all my questions. They are a great team, and very professional.

Cesar (aka "Mike") was wonderful to work with on our major remodel. He was referred to us by our…read moreGeneral Contractor, and we were surprised to learn that independently the contractor of our neighbor who was doing a remodel also was working with him! His part of our remodel was a significant element, with a big kitchen island, backsplash (with custom small shelf at top), countertops, 3 custom bathroom vanity tops, as well as a stunning stone inlay in the master shower. Each of these (and really just the nature of the work) take an incredibly high attention to detail, which Cesar has in spades. As a small example, we wanted the near full-slab shower inlay width and height to match to a "whole tile", and be centered to the space, and of course flush with the tile, and able to survive a shower environment. The problem is, to make it strong enough, the stone must go in before the tile. So Cesar, working with the GC, determined the exact position and size of the stone, placed it with fixtures and special epoxy (1 full day with like 4 guys), and then when all of the tiling was placed around it it came out perfect. This is just one example and there are many more. He has an eye for the aesthetic and won't allow a bad decision. In total he installed about 4 full slabs worth of material for us. He is also very fair in pricing and working with you. As an example, we have a bar sink and he assumed we wanted the sink in the center. After we saw it installed, we said we wanted it biased, and he was super apologetic for not asking, and did. Or skip a beat in making it right. Lastly, back to my neighbor, that was a lower end installation (pre-formed quartz counters), and we shared costs to calibrate, and I can say with confidence that on both the lower-end and higher-end work, Cesar is a great value. Thank you Cesar and your whole team!

She explains everything in detail and with great patience. We were mostly focused on bathroom vanity and she explained a variety of options for how to mix and match the countertop with vanities since we were looking for a not standard size. Filler, bullnose, toe-kick, prefab, all these foreign terms became easy to understand after Terry's explanations. They carry mostly factory made inventory, so if you want a standard size item, Granite Expo is not a bad choice. Bathroom is clean with plastic seat cover, free coffee machine and a good size showroom for kitchen and bath. We ended up buying a vanity and since we picked up the same day, we got the month discount. Everything was up to satisfactory, but the item we bought did not come with warranty. Terry warned us to examine the product carefully before acceptance and to their credits, the delivery team brought 2 items for us to choose since the first one had some color stain. They carry American made brands and European brands, so the vanity has the American shaker style as well as the European flat panel styles.

They handled the entire project from demo including a small wall, custom vanity, plumbing, addition of pony wall, steam unit installation, and marble fabrication. We purchased our material in Santa Clara and Felix picked everything up for us, and kept our calacatta viola slab in his shop until it was time to fabricate. They did an excellent job with our marble, making sure to use every inch of the slab. I am so impressed w the fabrication of our integrated sinks. They implemented everything I asked for and had great suggestions for design ideas. Fernando also provided a rendering of the space and I added a pic in comparison to the actual space and they look identical! I am so happy that the project came out exactly like we designed. We are having Felix quote more projects, and would highly recommend FL Granite and Marble to any neighbors and friends.

They installed the cabinets that I sourced from another company (although they also manufacture their own cabinets in-house), and everything was installed to spec with the trim pieces cut perfectly to match. For the countertops, I sourced my own quartzite slabs, and F&L handled the rest. They picked up the slabs, created the templates based on my cabinets, fabricated everything, and completed the installation. The templating team also went above and beyond to make sure my expensive slabs were used as efficiently as possible with virtually nothing wasted. They took the time to help me plan the layout so the veining flowed naturally across the countertops and backsplash, which made a huge difference in the final result. As someone who had never gone through this process before, I really appreciated their patience and attention to detail. A special shout-out to Fernando, who was my representative throughout the project. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly patient with all of my questions and design changes. He made the entire experience smooth from start to finish and always took the time to answer my calls. I highly recommend the team at F&L Granite. They truly went above and beyond to keep my project on schedule while delivering the best price, outstanding craftsmanship and customer service.

BUT after owning it for 4 years we saw a crack that is an about 16 inches long on the surface. We met with and tried to explain what we were experiencing, not to complain about the craftsmanship or quality of their quartzite but to look for solitons to see what we can do about the crack. We were just met with nastiness and blame on how we probably stood on top of it, or that how our house settled, or that we somehow damaged it ourselves. Again we were not looking to blame or shame them, just someone to come out to take a look at give us options. We showed Nico pictures and he insisted we had to take different ones in which we did and he said he will send someone out to take a look.. no one ever came and he was nasty wirh us throughout the entire process. I went with a 3" edge on the island (displayed in showroom) and 2" on the counter tops. I was also able to find two beautiful slabs of Quartzite to complete my dream kitchen which i went with because of the durability. Unfortunately less than 1 year in, the seams started failing and absorbing moisture. I reached out to them and was told the person that handles those kind of repairs was out on disability. So i was patient and continued to follow up. 3 or 4yrs in I have had the repair person out multiple times and he has attempted to repair but with no results and is now not returning my messages. I feel my expensive large Island and countertops are ruined and cannot be repaired as they have gone silent. Very disappointed.
