When I made an appointment, I requested a massage for 2. I saw the pricing online, so it looked like it would be $65/person, which totals $130. When I went to check out, they told me $150, so I gave $160 ($10 tip, which I know it stringy, but they OVER CHARGED!) over all, the massage was decent, if you're paying $65. You can hear everyone around you, so don't expect much "relaxation". The creepiest part was, after I paid, the two masseuses and a man (the owner maybe?) all stood there smiling and stared at my husband and I without saying good bye. It was the creepiest experience. This is among the best of the 20+ Chinese Foot Massage places I've been to across multiple cities. I had a 60-minute treatment with a 30 minute back massage and a 30 minute foot massage, and I definitely plan on returning. PROS: 1. Facility is clean; chairs are plush, in good condition, and quite comfortable; towels used felt extraordinarily soft and luxurious on my feet. 2. They let you customize how much time is spent on your back vs. the rest of the traditional massage, which is nice. 3. The back massage was awesome! In my experience, the back massage is usually the weakest part of a chinese foot massage - that is definitely NOT the case here. I was blown away at how fantastic the back massage was. 4. My masseuse was highly skilled (and I just had a walk-in appointment!). 5. This felt just like the places I visited in China, which is not always the case - I appreciated the authenticity. 6. Great parking. CONS: 1. The only thing that was a little strange was that my treatment started with the back massage rather than with a foot soak. This is a no-frills and no-fuss type of massage place. If you are expecting a private room with aromatherapy oils, Swedish strokes, you WILL be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a straightforward massage like me, this is absolutely the place to go. It's an open space with about 9-12 giant recliners that doubles as massage chairs. You are sharing this space with other patrons but since you don't have to remove any article of clothing other than your shoes, leave your shyness at the door and relax already. The space itself is wonderfully maintained, it's clean and quiet with relaxing music playing in the background. You will start the massage by getting your feet soaked in a bucket of warm water. The first portion of the massage starts with your head and neck. Ladies, this means a face massage and scalp which involves your face / hair being touched, if you're not okay with this - let them know. Then they will move to your arms, feet, back, shoulders and finally legs. The massage pressure is rather intense / deep which I prefer - so again, if this is not your cup of tea then please speak up. Most of the massage therapists are men so if you prefer a female masseuse, let them know when you make your appointment. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great massage, you can even get a frequent customer card at the end, worth it!! read more

Horrible customer service and management. I made an appointment for 2 body massages at 7:30 pm, it was confirmed. Then when we got there they said we will have to come back at 8:40 because they forgot they had booked 6 massages at that time. We called back the next day to make an appointment at 6 pm. The massage was mediocre and they didn't listen to our request for the same sex masseur. What made it even more horrible was that the masseuse asked for a 20% tip at the end of the session. I can safely say this has been the worst massage I have ever received in my entire life. I woke up with a ridiculous upper back pain that I was not able to lift my head and go to work. It felt as if I pulled a muscle and could not lift my own weight. The massage seemed random with no specific Rhythm or pattern. TL:DR: Bottom line - if it hurts past normal massage "good pain" stop the session and try a different therapist. Most folks at Bay Point know what they are doing but you can end up really hurting if you try to wait for a bad session to get better. I've been coming here regularly since the summer so the star rating is an overall rating for the many trips. I'll say the service is generally quite good but my last massage was easily the worst massage experience of my entire life - and I have been getting massages regularly for a long time. 90% of visits to Bay Point Spa have been lovely, but on this last visit I feel like the masseuse was paying me back from wrongs I committed in a past life. It was way past the point of "hurts so good" which is how I can describe most deep-tissue massages. This was pure grinding of elbows and knuckle bones into already painful tender muscles - sheer torture all while whisper-imploring me to "relax" while my body was trying to defend itself from the awful. I know I went in with a really tensed up back, but he didn't seem to know how to navigate the key places to apply pressure and how to work his way into the deep tissue, so instead he just attempted to force my body to "give in" from the get-go with hard bony grinding and painful body contortion. He worked so hard but was so misguided. I had to ask for mercy at least five times and many times considered just asking him to stop altogether. I regret that I didn't get his name because the best advice I can offer here is to see a different masseuse. Generally the folks working here are very good at what they do, but what I experienced was nothing short of paying with my time and money to be injured. My body ached before going in, but now I have to deal with stinging sharp pain in my lower back, thigh, and right foot as I try to heal from what happened. Rating this based on other Chinese Foot Spas. You are in a public room, fully clothed and the cost is about $30. It's not Umalina or Canyon Ranch. It is a great value and I left feeling better than when I worked in. I love pressure (big fan of myofascial release and medical massage) and my masseuse here delivered. When be found a knot, he dug in and I was grateful. Unfortunately, his hands smelled of cigarettes. I would go back and hope that would be an anomaly. read more

I love the idea of getting a massage without having to strip down. These chair massages are best for sore muscles, sport injuries, etc. They really get in there even through thick clothing. It is a lot cheaper than a body massage on their beds, probably because they don't need to change out full sheets for a bed, hot towel, etc. So they save money, which means you save when its a lot cheaper! I really appreciate that. I will be back next time I am sore from the gym. But I would not recommend for a relaxing spa time, as you are pretty close to others, and that can be a little distracting. read more

We had a very good experience. I brought my parents here for Father's Day. We made a reservation, they started on time and the service was outstanding. For the price I was blown away by how much time we received. A full 45mins plus. My parents loved it and both want to come back again. I enjoyed it too, but I'm a bit pain sensitive so some of deep tissue movements took some getting used to. read more

Location is clean and the chairs are not super close together. Note that this is not really a spa as an American would understand one. It's a Chinese-style foot or body massage place. Don't expect any kind of luxury spa atmosphere, but if you're looking for quality massage by someone who knows what (s)he's doing (reflexology and deep tissue) then this is your place. The quality of the massage was excellent. The massage therapist listened and responded to the areas I asked him to focus on, and used plenty of pressure. Definitely felt much better leaving here than I did before! Price is not as cheap as the places in Chinatown but the quality is much better. $45/hour for foot+body massage seems reasonable. Note that a 20% tip is expected...it was a bit uncomfortable when basically being forced by the lady at the front desk to tip 20%. read more

I literally was out cold snoring 10 minutes into my massage. The woman I had used just the right amount of pressure to get in deep but still keep it a relaxing experience as well. She rubbed my temples and forehead which immediately rid me of my headache, and thorough from head to toe. My only suggestion for next time would be to perhaps ask the client what areas she would like to focus on most. Definitely will be back! read more

They think the 20% tip is their right. Not at all gracious and points out very bluntly should you tip than less than 20%. The massage was decent. I went there after I couldn't find an appointment anywhere else. I had a really bad back pain and this was my only hope to get it addressed and get some relief before my physio session. When I entered I wasn't impressed at all. The place was pretty dark and dingy. A lady greeted my friend and I and we were shown into our massage room. The table was heated and that was the highest point of the whole visit there. Got my massage and went to pay. When I was paying the lady tells me that would be $60 plus tip. I got caught off guard as other places have refused tips that I have offeredin past. So I gave her all the cash I had and the tip came up to be 10%. She gives me not impressed look. Then my friend comes out and tips 20%. I felt bad that I didn't tip 20% so was about to ask my friend for some cash and make the tip 20%. However before I could do so the lady promptly pointed out that my tip was only 10% as opposed to my friends 20%. This annoyed me as hell and I decided not to tip her any more than I already have. Every time when I visit my son's family in Seattle I always visit this place for relax, people there are very friendly and the massage was wonderful. Most massage center hire more ladies but this place has more strong gentlemen. I love gentlemen to give me massage and they are very professional. I have also been to many similar places and this is excellent. I had Anna, who was one of the best foot reflexologists (and massagers) I have ever had. I was blown away when I realized it was only $30 (I knew this going in but wasn't paying attention or thinking about it during my massage). The massage chairs are in the "group setting" but not packed in like other places and far enough apart to still give a private feeling. Also, unlike other places I have gone to, its very, very quiet. Horrible!!! My brother is visiting me from out of town, so I took him to this place yesterday. We checked in, and the lady at the front desk asked me to chose a massage from the 4-5 options they have. I picked the $30 massage for both of us. She confirmed with me by saying "30 dollars", and I said yes. Now she calls someone from inside and they both discuss something in their language for 3-4 minutes, and then they take us in. My brother had a great experience here, but the lady who was doing my massage was horrible. I wish I had asked her for her name. First of all, she wasn't applying ANY pressure at all. It was more like she was lightly sliding her hand on my feet and hands.I asked her to apply some pressure. She would say yes, and apply some pressure for a minute or two, and then back to normal. I didn't get ANY massage on shoulders or neck. Then, when she started working on my feet, she started dosing off here and there. I am not kidding. She would put her hands on my feet, and close her eyes, and "sleep off" for a few seconds before she realizes that she is actually giving me massage. I wiggled my feet a couple of times while she was taking her nap so that she would "wake up". The worst part was, she massaged my feet for about 40 or so minutes. At the end of the massage, she goes "Okay done", and I said what about my back? She hadn't asked me to lay down on my tummy AT ALL. She goes, you are pregnant right? I was shocked? I was like, no, I am not. Then I was told that the lady in the front had asked her to only do hands and feet for me because she told her that I was pregnant!!. I was like really? Can I talk to the lady in the front. They go, walk next door to the other location, that's where she is. By the way, I should mention here that NO ONE HAD EVER asked me if I was pregnant, or never did I TELL ANYONE that I was. I have a 4 month old baby, and so I do have "flabby belly". Okay, so now, the person who was billing us goes, since you didn't get your back done, you pay $25 instead of $30. I was like can you write down that I need to get my back done for free the next time I come here (the massage was 15 minutes feet/45 minutes rest of the body, and they spend good 20-30 minutes on your back, neck and shoulder). He goes, we were told you were pregnant. They dont understand English well, I had to explain them again and again that i am not pregnant, or never did i mention that I was. Anyways, so I walk next door to talk to the "owner". She doesn't want to come out as she is giving massage to someone else. Another lady comes out, and she goes you are not pregnant. I was like no I am not. She points at my tummy and goes, this is your tummy? I said yes. She smiles and says, I am sorry. She said I can give you back massage for free right now if you want. This was after spending hour for foot massage and 15 minutes arguing with the staff. I said I have a baby and I can't stay here longer, but will you please write it down and honor free back massage for a later visit. The answer was Nope. We can't do that. I am not going here again. The owner/manager doesnt even want to come out and talk to the customer and sort out what is going on. STAY AWAY. read more

First time trying it today with a friend. I gotta say it was different. It's not your typical massage spa. Your massage is done in a larger room with 6 stations. You get to lay there relax until it's your turn. The massage was nice but a little on the hard deep side. There's some stretching and lots of kneading and pressure point techniques. At first it feels like you're getting beat up but after the massage you feel loose and refreshed. Over all I'd go back but would ask for medium strength. Reflexology Heaven! I have been to Mu Lan and Sunshine in the Redmond area and this is my new favorite, by far. Please remember to tip at least $10 as I believe the workers aren't paid much and rely upon tips. As with many of these places, not much chance to speak with the staff - but they are very friendly and try hard. Got the best head/ear/neck rub ever while my feet were soaking. The guy who did my reflexology used a stone on my foot as well to reach pressure points, and did a very thorough job on my feet/toes/legs. I had opted for the $30 which say feet and head - but as with the other places, they want you to roll over and they do your back as well. I have recently had surgery and didn't want to do that, and was ok with just the foot/head - but he put me in the massage chair and did a really great job on my neck as well. Seemed cleaner than many other places and they have a punch card. A great experience and great price. read more
