I can't recommend Simmons and especially Derek any higher. He is meticulous in laying out and building the system layer by layer. We have a 1500 gal septic tank thru one distribution box into a 20'x40' leaching field. Watching him use the excavator to clear , level , lay rocks, and leeching pipe is a sight to behold. It's like an extension of his hands. Lastly the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes received. It's amazing how wide the range was. We have a 3 bedroom split level with 1.5 baths. Questioning them results in recriminations, not solutions. It seemed that nothing was their responsibility-from scrapes on the walls from putting in a quartzite countertop to a crooked cabinet. Since receiving the final milestone payment, we have had months of frustration due to a complete lack of communication, missed deadlines, and subquality workmanship. There were extended periods--sometimes weeks at a time--when no work was being performed, and no proactive communication was provided regarding delays or next steps. The quality of work completed by several subcontractors was disappointing and frequently required correction. We were left to supervise the subcontractors and check the quality of work, Jake was rarely if ever on site. We were often left to clean up after the subcontractors left a mess and/or broke things during their work. When legitimate concerns were raised about workmanship, instead of addressing the issues professionally, Jake became defensive, dismissive, and at times openly hostile. Rather than taking responsibility for deficiencies, he frequently attempted to shift blame, minimize concerns, or suggest that the problems being identified were not real issues. The experience felt more like being gaslit than having concerns addressed by a professional. Customer service was virtually nonexistent throughout the project. Phone calls and messages often went unanswered or flippant excuses "it's been a busy/hectic week". I was left constantly chasing updates and seeking explanations for delays that should have been communicated proactively. A contractor's value is measured not only by the finished product but also by professionalism, accountability, communication, and respect for the customer. Unfortunately, this contractor failed on all counts. The combination of poor workmanship, chronic delays, lack of communication, and hostile responses to reasonable questions made this one of the worst experiences I have had with a home improvement professional. Despite the scale and significance of this project, the company has consistently fallen short in several critical areas. 1. Quality of Work The quality of workmanship in many areas has been unacceptable. We've encountered numerous issues that have required constant follow-up and rework. This has significantly delayed progress and project completion and left us questioning the overall integrity of their work. 2. Delays and Missed Deadlines Timelines provided by the contractor have been repeatedly missed without explanation or accountability. They use words like "we hope" or "we are trying" or "we are waiting to hear" and then no word on when a sub is showing up and when they do, we are supervising them vs them which is maddening. What should have been a straightforward renovation has dragged on far longer than expected, causing stress, unexpected time needed on our part and additional expenses. 3. Poor Communication and Responsiveness One of the most frustrating aspects of working with this company has been the lack of communication. Repeated calls, emails, and messages often go unanswered for days or even weeks. Gaslighting at its finest. When we do get a response, it is often vague or dismissive followed by continued silence leaving us with more questions than answers. 4. Lack of Overall Customer Service We expected a professional and customer-focused experience, especially given the significant cost of this project. Instead, we've encountered indifference and, at times, outright hostility when raising concerns. They have taken no responsibility or accountability for their own actions and that of their subcontractors. Is a matter of fact we have served as the onsite project manager with no one from Drohan supervising their contractors, or ensuring work was done and completed correctly and that continues to this day since our project still isn't done. 5. Unmet Expectations Overall, Drohan has failed to deliver on their promises. A project that was promised in 6-8 months has dragged on now for more than a year and their silence is deafening. We had high hopes for this renovation, but the repeated setbacks and ongoing issues have turned it into a nightmare. Recommendation We cannot in good conscience recommend Drohan Development for any home renovation or construction project. If you value quality work, clear and consistent communication, accountability when things don't go right and timely delivery, save yourself and look elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience with the Dwyer Home which is owned by the same company. They…read more treated my family and my father, a veteran, disrespectfully, dishonestly and unprofessionally. After several months on their waiting list, my father's financials and medical records were reviewed to ensure that they could care for him this review included the doctor we requested he be assigned to . The Admissions Director informed us they had a room for him and arranged his transfer. On that day my father was loaded onto transport and my brother went to the Dwyer Home ahead of Him. When he arrived the head nurse said that they wouldn't accept my dad because of new information she had received, supposedly that day. She said my dad's records showed he was a wanderer and sexually aggressive. Everything she said was a lie. The case worker didn't send any new records that week, my dad is not a wander. He is not even ambulatory. He can't get in and out of a wheel chair. He is not on a locked ward and he isn't capable of remembering or entering a code in a key pad to open an exit door. Additionally my dad has never been aggressive. He's had the same health care assistant bathing him for 20 years and she adores him. So did his caregivers in assisted living and in his current nursing home. The nurse at Dwyer Home didn't call us to tell us they wouldn't accept him. When my brother went out to get his paper work. The nurse locked him out. No one from the Dwyer Home ever returned our calls or emails to apologize or explain. I jad explained to the Admissions Director, who told us she had a bed for him, that I was very worried about the care he was currently receiving. He had gone from walking on his own toBnot being able to adjust himself in bed in just a get months. Additionally, they had him so medicated he was sleeping all the time. She assured me that they could treat my dad's sun downers without over medicating him. My father served his country his entire life. He retired as a a lieutenant colonel after 20 years in the US Airforce. He worked at NASA, FAA, DOT & MITRE. He was one of the 1st US military personnel stationed in England to install intercontinental balistic missiles at Dwight D Eisenhower's direction during the cold war. He worked on the guided missile system that support the us moon landing He lead the FAA project to develop radar to direct aircraft while taxiing. He lead the JTIDs program that provides a 360 degree view for us fighter pilots. He retired from the military, civil service and private corporation saving his money to live comfortably during retirement.

I come in the next day and they fire me because they said I Left without telling anyone. Like yeah I would just throw away a great job that I loved and had been there for a year and was planning on working there for years more. I know for a fact I told people that I was leaving. Not only that day but I had told them months ahead of time about that day. I believe the real reason was because covid was starting and business was slowing as well as an employee that was out for a year with an injury. Just came back 2 weeks earlier. I was the newest employee and I understand with business slowing I would be the first one to go. But just tell me that I would completely understand. Instead they make up the story that I just walked out. I have no ill will towards the company or anyone there. It's a great company with great owners and I still highly recommend them.
