Raul and his team were awesome! They fabricated, installed, and demo'd our kitchen island and countertop. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, and sent over pictures. When we had narrowed down our options, we had Raul stop by to look a it in person. We ordered the Silestone through him, and he let us know when it was delivered. At that point, his team came to demo the current countertops, replace the plywood, and template. 2 weeks later (as stated from the get go) our new countertops were ready for installation. The team spent all day installing and didn't leave till past 6pm, once everything was perfect. They buffed out the seams in the countertop so well, you cant tell unless you look at the light perfectly. We had them do quartz up the backsplash as well, and they lined up the veins and made sure they were all going the same direction. The team vacuumed and cleaned up neatly each time they came and were masked (covid rules). Would highly recommend Bay stoneworks and now see why there are so many great reviews here! It took a couple of days to receive their initial estimate, but I am so glad we did not make a decision prior to receiving it. After the initial estimate, which was the best estimate received, Raul's response time was much faster! We had our master bathroom countertop and bathtub tiles replaced with quartz and it turned out beautifully! I purchased a quartz slab from All Natural Stone and Bay Stoneworks picked up the slab and fabricated the quartz. A couple days later, they were installing it in our bathroom! They ran into a problem with the bathtub walls, and they went back to the shop and came back that same day with new wall pieces! Days later, I ran into a little problem when installing the tub faucet handle, and they came right back the next business day, and cut small holes so that the faucet could be installed. The only area for improvement that I can recommend is for more detailed estimates so that customers clearly know what is included and what is not. Our kitchen project was getting many changes from our original plans. One of them is the backsplash where we changed from ordinary (i.e., 20" - 34" height) backsplash to counter-to-ceiling quartz slab. FYI, our ceiling is quite high; it is 10 feet from the floor. Our previous contractor was not comfortable with the idea of putting the quartz slab all the way to the ceiling. As the project was approaching to countertop installation, I went on Yelp to get some info (this is my first time since I always got hesitation on the price LOL). Raul caught my attention as he was really responsive, informative, and patient. He guided me from start to finish and was able to quickly accommodate our request to do on-site measurements in a few days (although I know at that time he was so busy with other jobs). On the installation day, the quality of installation was visible to our eyes right off. We were so happy to see the vein of the slab continue nicely on our kitchen island and cooktop areas. The seam was also seamless. The 2 inches thick countertop makes the kitchen look so expensive. We are remodelling our home and we built a new kitchen and a full bath as a part of our remodel. Our kitchen designer recommended baystone works - Raul to do our countertops. We did silesstone for our kitchen perimeter and Cambria for our island. Raul did a good job right from doing the template to fabrication and installation. Raul and his team did a fantastic job extending the silestone countertop beyond the undermount sink through the kitchen bay window. Our perimeter countertop looks much wider. He also did a good job with the flush installtion/mounting of my cooktop on the countertop. He also did a good job with the cambria brittanica slab for our island. He took special attention to make sure the veins in the slab show up nicely aligned even along the mitered edges. He fabricated cambria quartz in a special dimension that we wanted to use for backsplash. This was from the left over piece after using the slab for the island. He used the left silestone slab for our bathroom vanity as well. He did a good job in our bathroom as well. As a pleasant surprise, he gave me 2 cutting boards one from each piece - silestone and cambria when he came to collect the cheque. The cutting boards we nicely done. He treated our project like his own paid attention to detail and did a very fabulous job. I am a happy customer looking at his job and we are very eager and exited to use our new kitchen for many years to come. We purchased Silestone for our entire kitchen, bar, mud room from Bay StoneWorks. This was for a brand new construction. Raul and his team did the installation. I was incredibly pleased and impressed by Raul and his team. Raul is a true professional and a real artist. We had 2 large pieces of slab join at 90 degree angles to form a waterfall for the main kitchen island. You absolutely can't even tell it was formed by 2 pieces. The 90 degree turn was done so seamlessly. Raul's team was extremely, and I stress, extremely detailed to make sure the installation went flawlessly and the final product came out beautifully. For example, all the places where two stone pieces were joined together were done in such a way where you almost could not see the lines. I've seen countertops where ugly, not uniformed lines run all over the place, visible to the naked eye. We have a straight 90 degree edge for all our countertops. I found a small visible chip a few months in and his team returned to touch up. Afterwards I had trouble finding the original spot of the chip. It's completely gone! All the caulking, sealers along the edges of the stone where it meets the window or cabinets were done in a thin, straight line that it blended in so well with the color of the stone itself. The team treated my house with care. They covered all floor area where they worked and they vacuumed and cleaned all countertops after they finished. Raul has a very easy going and trustworthy personality. He knows his stuff and takes real pride in his work. He listens and delivers on what he promises. He replies the same day when I email him with a question or concern. He keeps to his schedule and budget. The pricing is very competitive and reasonable quality product. The stone is now just a year old and it's still looking brand new. I feel so fortunate to have found Bay StoneWorks. This review is long overdue but I wanted to make sure I shared my wonderful experience. My family recently built a home and we chose Bay Stone Works for our all of our quartz counters (Silestone) because of the OUTSTANDING customer service provided by Robert and Raul. They both went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our counter choices. I can honestly say that they treated the project like it was their own. They paid attention to EVERY single detail to make it easy for me as well as my contractor. Specifically, Robert and Raul made sure to point out that the patterns/lines on the quartz need to be lined up with the backsplash. They reviewed every slab and did not accept any if the lines did not match up perfectly. Other vendors we had looked at NEVER brought this up as a potential issue! So this made it clear that Bay Stone works was the right choice for us. Also, Robert worked with us to keep our project within our budget and his (and Raul's) communication throughout the project was excellent. We were never left to wonder what was going on or what would happen next. During the installation, Raul was so detailed and he made sure we were 100% percent satisfied. He threw in a few wonderful surprises for us! With the leftover kitchen counter scraps, he made us cutting boards for our kitchen and for other areas. Robert and Raul care for their clients even after the project is completed. A year after our project was completed, we noticed a small chip on our kitchen counter due to a small mistake made by a guest. I was quite upset about the chip. When Raul came out to measure for the template on our kitchen countertop for a kitchen remodel in SF, he suspected we might need a jumbo slab rather than a regular-sized one in order to only have one seam in the 19-foot-long counter. When we discovered that the quartz manufacturer Cosentino would be discontinuing the jumbos in the color we had selected, instead of talking us into choosing another color, Raul's business partner Robert contacted Cosentino and was able to secure the last 2 remaining jumbo slabs in the whole USA. We're extremely happy with the stone work that Raul and his team did in our house. We used different types of stones for our counter tops in different part of the house. We had a 9'x4' waterfall island in Quartz and the look is just stunning and seamless. We used two types of Dekton, one glossy and one matte. Dekton manufacturing and installation (esp the glossy type) is very difficult and Raul did it perfectly. We also had a request for a floating counter top on our bar that need a special metal work underneath the stone and yet again Raul delivered beautifully.
