The customer experience at Tile and Stone Central is top notch. I met with Francisco for a new quartz kitchen countertop, and he patiently showed me the options for picking a material, edge profiles, and joints. He even let me take home some samples to review. It was an easy choice and we picked Cambria Annica. The gold and purple veins were beautiful. Francisco scheduled their fabricator to create the template, then scheduled for us to view the quartz slab in person. Then lastly, for delivery and installation. I had a bathroom remodel and googled tile places in the area. Tile and Stone Central had good reviews so I thought I would check them out. When I stepped inside Stone and Central I was greeted by Francisco and I let him know I was there for a bathroom remodel and needed some guidance. Francisco brought out some sample tiles and was very knowledgeable about each product he showed me. I looked around more through the store and was met by Kitty. She showed me some bathroom designs and with the help of both Francisco and Kitty I secured the tiles for my bathroom floor, shower floor, walls, niches, and backsplash. I am now set for the install...with one slight problem...I measured incorrectly and didn't order enough tiles for the shower walls. I call out to Francisco and get a couple more boxes ordered and back on schedule to finish the bathroom by the first of the month. A couple days go by and I get the unfortunate news that my boxes were delayed due to the recent spike in COVID and the shipping issues across the country. What happened next is why I am writing this review and why I highly recommend Tile and Stone Central. Francisco knew I had a timeline and instead of saying sorry or make empty promises, he went out of his way and contacted other dealers and found the two boxes I needed to finish my bathroom remodel by the first of the month. These guys are great! We needed to select mosaic tile for our kitchen remodel. We visited 7 or 8 tile stores in the San Jose area. T&S was the only company that would let us take samples home to check the color match - and we took them home by the box full! We went back multiple times, and each time David and Jackie were very helpful finding us what we were (now) looking for. Their showroom is jam-packed and not everything is out for immediate viewing, but they seemed to know exactly where everything was in the hidden boxes. They also have a huge selection, much better than many other stores. Finally, their prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed working with them. David Cruz and team are just awesome. Professional and clean. They were in and out quickly at each step of the process. I love the final results of the Quartz Counters. They worked closely with the recommended Backsplash Tile Guys to ensure a final finished kitchen! Compelled to write a review as I committed to this tile store based on the 5-star yelp reviews. My review is not on the customer/salesperson interaction, but the return policy. Unfortunately the company has a no return policy, making it difficult for any changes in tile choice. The tiles were not what I expected based on the significant print variation as well as some of the tiles having obvious manufacturer defects. (Tiles had large indentation with discoloration). In addition to being charged up front for tiles not ordered, I paid a hefty restocking fee (I only took home one box) and shipment costs. Caution anyone to be mindful of the no return policy and tiles with print/pattern; otherwise decent tile store for folks who are set on their tile selections. read more

The service I received here was top notch. I've had to work with many stores for my remodel and this was by far the most seamless experience I had. First off, their tiles are beautiful. I'm pretty picky about tile designs and I couldn't find any styles I liked at other stores. When I got here, I saw so many tiles I loved and could've went with. Second, I was not rushed to pick up my order at all. A lot of places will require you to pick up your items within 10 days and this place never rushed me once. They emailed me to tell me my stuff was here and another call to let me know when my contractor was picking it up. Third, they were so nice to send me pictures of my tiles when I asked. Wonderful experience at Tile & Stone today. A large tile on our patio table was broken, and I took the other by to size a replacement. The large size and distinctive design make it hard to replace. But the owner very graciously gave me a sample panel for free that might actually work. And he was nice enough to call his friend about cutting the tile. A class act all around. BEWARE: The store is under new ownership and since then the service is terrible! The previous owners helped us select wonderful tiles, which included us taking some samples for a deposit of $80. Then the ownership changed. We still ordered our tiles, and paid the new owner around $1,500 for them. But they would not take back the samples and refund the deposit, claiming it's not their business. On top of that, they managed to lose a portion of our order, and we waited a long time to get a replacement. We have another 2 tile projects coming up in the house, but would never go back to these stingy, unprofessional people. read more

This location has a variety of good quality tiles. Friendly customer service. They helped me find the tiles needed for my bathroom floor upgrade. They have both polished and non polished tiles as well as backsplash designs that made me excited about doing more upgrades at home. I advise staying within your budget.
