    Matching repaired calcatta marble tops.
    Linda S.

I had a somewhat unusual request--to pick up from my home and repair/refabricate two matching marble tabletops which had been damaged over time. Finally, I needed the tops reinstalled to the bases. It was a bit difficult to find someone who was willing to work outside the typical scope of a large kitchen counter installation. Marco completely understood our request and provided guidance along the way. His installers are great. Very professional.

    QUARTZ KITCHEN COUNTERS AND BACKSPLASH

The design, demo and installation of our kitchen counter tops and backsplash could not have been better than what Marko and his staff did for us. Everything was exactly on schedule and perfectly executed; no fuss, no mess, no problems. The price was right. The materials were excellent. The Covid masking was greatly appreciated. We had work done in March 2021 during COVID protocols. Great company to work with. Small family-run business that obviously know how to do a good job with countertop replacements and followed COVID safety with mask wearing. Down to earth, quick responses, and practical. We were replacing the tile countertops and sink and faucet in our home. We went with the solid surface with an integrated sink. They pointed out some suggestions such as alerting us that we chose a really small sink which I appreciated as that wasn't what we wanted. We also added on the faucet install which enabled all the work to happen by Kerrock instead of needing to coordinate with multiple businesses. The sister of the family, Christina, answered our calls and e-mail questions and provided a clear estimate. George (one of the brothers) and another worker did the demo and install. Other companies told us our project was too small or quoted us a much higher price with very little information. Demo: 3 hours total (plus they had to run to the store to get some plumbing piece because our water valve wasn't shutting off properly for them to disconnect the old faucet. They didn't have to do this and was not part of the plan. Contained the kitchen mess very well and cleaned up entirely. Per our request they also left temporary plywood so we had a usable surface during the 2 weeks between demo and install. Install: 4.5 hrs, also cleaned up well. Our bar wasn't level so they leveled it prior to installing the new countertop. Overall great experience. So happy to support a local family-owned business that does their work well.

We wanted our master bathroom's tile countertop replaced since we never liked it and wanted a solid surface like quartz or granite instead. I called a few contractors but most were hesitant to do the work, saying they were concerned our cabinets and/ or mirror may be damaged during demo. When I contacted Kerrock, I got a good feeling that George was very experienced with doing this work and would work carefully to reduce chances of damage to adjoining surfaces. Everything turned out beautifully, with no damage to mirror or cabinets! We chose a gorgeous Quartz material he had there in remnants, and are so happy with it. Demo took 2 hours, and we were very appreciative of the care George and his helper took in protecting our floors and stairs. Two weeks later, the countertop install was completed in 2 hours. The quartz was installed with it's pattern perfectly continuing up the backsplash. Done to perfection! Highly recommend Kerrock, and George is a really nice guy too.

My new Cambria Whitney Countertop (Beautiful Sparking effects) with Julien sink and faucet installed by Kerrock Countertop.
    Leland R.

My kitchen is a original kitchen from the 1960s. Last October, my sink was leaking badly. I decided it was time to replace the countertop along with a new sink and cooktop. A friend referred us to check out Kerrock. My wife sent the dimensions and photos though their website. It took a day or two to get back the quote. Price was very reasonable. We make appointment to check out the slab. Overall, the staff was very helpful and friendly, after checking out some more samples. We decided to go with Quartz (Cambria Whitney) which was within our budget. Only one condition, we must have the cooktop and sink ready in order to make the template. It was a reasonable request. I put down 50% deposit in order to reserve the slab. Unfortunately, the slab was not in stock at that time; I had to wait 3 weeks. Turns out, the handcraft kitchen sink (Julien) took one month to arrive. The Wolf induction cooktop was in stock the week after the sink arrived. By Mid-December, everything was ready. Karrock came to make a template, it took about 2 hrs. The countertop was ready right after the New Year. Although I didn't have a brand new kitchen counter for holidays, it was totally worth to wait. The demolition and installation was fast, finished within a day. The work was way beyond my expectations. The slab finish was so beautiful, a photo can't show the sparkling effects. We was so thankful Karrock and their staff. We love our new kitchen so much.

They handled the entire project from demo including a small wall, custom vanity, plumbing, addition of pony wall, steam unit installation, and marble fabrication. We purchased our material in Santa Clara and Felix picked everything up for us, and kept our calacatta viola slab in his shop until it was time to fabricate. They did an excellent job with our marble, making sure to use every inch of the slab. I am so impressed w the fabrication of our integrated sinks. They implemented everything I asked for and had great suggestions for design ideas. Fernando also provided a rendering of the space and I added a pic in comparison to the actual space and they look identical! I am so happy that the project came out exactly like we designed. We are having Felix quote more projects, and would highly recommend FL Granite and Marble to any neighbors and friends.

They installed the cabinets that I sourced from another company (although they also manufacture their own cabinets in-house), and everything was installed to spec with the trim pieces cut perfectly to match. For the countertops, I sourced my own quartzite slabs, and F&L handled the rest. They picked up the slabs, created the templates based on my cabinets, fabricated everything, and completed the installation. The templating team also went above and beyond to make sure my expensive slabs were used as efficiently as possible with virtually nothing wasted. They took the time to help me plan the layout so the veining flowed naturally across the countertops and backsplash, which made a huge difference in the final result. As someone who had never gone through this process before, I really appreciated their patience and attention to detail. A special shout-out to Fernando, who was my representative throughout the project. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly patient with all of my questions and design changes. He made the entire experience smooth from start to finish and always took the time to answer my calls. I highly recommend the team at F&L Granite. They truly went above and beyond to keep my project on schedule while delivering the best price, outstanding craftsmanship and customer service.

I was in a unique situation as my house is new and was just built 2 years ago. However, the builder wouldn't let me upgrade to a waterfall countertop, so I knew it was something I would always want to install later on. Osiel and team came out a couple days after I reached out to them and evaluated my existing island counter. They gave me a quote a few hours later and we worked together to ensure I could locate a slab to match my existing one. I was able to find it all the way in Livermore, and they agreed to go out there to pick it up for me (I paid them gas money in return, since it was a long journey). After they picked up the slab, they came to my house a few days later and installed everything within a few hours. They did proper prep and clean up, and I was blown away with the results. I LOVE my new waterfall countertops and am so thankful I reached out to Rodriguez Marble & Granite to get it done. Additionally the crew of guys was very kind and polite -- they did a fabulous job! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for countertop installation, and I will definitely reach out to them for future jobs.

We hired a general contractor and agreed to use all of their selected subcontractors except for a small subset we insisted on selecting ourselves, including Custom Stone. Custom Stone came highly recommended by multiple stone suppliers and other fabricators in the Bay Area. The scope of our stone installation was large and it was critically important that we select a fabricator who had experience with higher-end homes and highest-quality installations. Our scope included a master bathroom consisting of a double vanity, an 8' tall all-slab master shower and an undermounted roman master bathtub; a large kitchen with multiple stone surfaces including a 12' x 9' island; two guest bathrooms with marble slab vanities; a guest bathroom all-slab shower; an all-slab marble surround and hearth for a 42" fireplace; a custom designed and constructed semi-precious slab backlit bar; and an outdoor BBQ counter with Neolith. At the outset of the project, Custom Stone joined us during trips to various stone yards, advised us on the considerations of different materials, and helped us to obtain the most competitive pricing with their relationships. During the fabrication process, Custom Stone sent us multiple detailed design mock-ups and welcomed us to participate in the process. They recently invested in state-of-the-art fabrication equipment and technology that enables Contractors and Owners to see exactly what output they can expect, and to efficiently and flexibly provide input into the design and configuration decisions. For example, their new 3-D Laser measuring system and real-time digital vein-matching software allowed us to approve our slab layout before the fabrication started. Custom Stone's CNC waterjet cutting machine enabled exceptionally precise cuts on the material that we didn't find possible with other fabrication firms, allowing Custom Stone to produce the highest-quality end products for our project. Custom Stone's work is uncontestably one of the highlights of the new home and has significantly enhanced its aesthetic and value. We cannot speak highly enough of their work and the process of working with them. They worked and collaborated well with other trades/subcontractors, offered up creative solutions and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality. When we were selecting our stone subcontractor, we considered five (5) criteria in the following stack-ranked order: (1) precision in design and craftsmanship, and attention to detail; (2) knowledge of products/materials; (3) design skill in assembling pieces to create contiguous and less visible seams; (4) use of current technology and tools; and (5) reliable and on schedule. Custom Stone achieved the highest marks across all five criteria. We would certainly recommend and hire them again for whatever scope project we consider in the future.
