We are becoming regulars here at Rusty's. Not only is it close to where we live, but the food is always good, they have daily specials and live music on some nights. Today we stopped off for lunch after picking up guests from the airport. The tacos, chicken burrito and chicken fingers basket were all good. And, they make very good Ranch dressing! It is pretty quiet and service is slower than usual during the lunch hour vs late afternoon to evening. read more

Service was top‑notch. We had multiple staff members swing by the table, cracking jokes and keeping the vibe light. The cold peel‑and‑eat shrimp were absolutely killer -- don't skip them. Todd, the manager, was out mingling, joking with customers, and helped bus the tables from our large group. Josue behind the bar is solid. He pushed the creme brûlée donut for desert. The food is always dependably good. I've been here a lot and tend to order fried, it's that kind of a place, but last night i ordered the Cajun redfish. It was phenomenal. We had a table of 12/15 and Brooke was our server. She was phenomenal. She didn't miss a beat, we wanted for nothing in the four hours we watched the band. She was so good I went looking for the owners to let them know, but they had left before I could catch them. Just met some friends for $1 oysters. This is a great choice for a casual get together. The oysters we good (a little grit) and the price was nice. I also had the fish and chips which was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for a casual dining experience and for anyone who likes oysters. On the downside, it is crowded and service can be slow. read more

Good food and service, nothing fancy. If you're looking for fresh seafood this is the place. The oysters Rockefeller were the best I've had in a long time, lots of spinach and garlic and plump oysters. Stopped for a later lunch with Judy on a Tuesday. We sat outside and delighted to see Rusty's was dog friendly. Being on the north side it was shaded & had plenty of seating. Ambience was so-so with 3 TVs on the same station. Bar had 10 draught options with Jai Lai being 1of them. But only 1 local though. Ordered beans-rice in special sauce with Grouper (blackened) catch of the day. Good. Wife had a Cobb salad & spicy chowder. Also good. $65 with tip. Stopped by Rusty's for food as it was recommended as good food. It was packed upon arrival and definitely lots of locals which is always a great sign. It was taco Tuesday so tried out the taco and a chimichanga. The taco was great and watching all the other different foods it appears you can't go wrong. The chimichanga was good but a bit spicy which is not my preference but it wasn't overly spicy and had good flavor. Talked to some locals and it was a nice way to spend some time. read more

Nice casual spot Right off 95, outdoor seating, dig friendly, good menu and really good service. Stopped in for Apps And some beers. Sports bar vibe with live music and games on the tv's. My only complaints, once the lights came on the bugs were crazy, but they can't help that, and the music, the live band was really good, but it was so loud we had to leave. Food is surprisingly good for a busy bar with live entertainment. Bands are generally very good and service is good too.

This establishment was a great surprise! The oysters were a great price and were great quality-very fresh and large and shucked right there in the middle of the restaurant. I had red fish for the first time and loved it. The bartenders were friendly and very attentive. Great spot for a late night dinner and to grab a drink! Rusty is good casual place to hang out with friends. On the weekends they do play music in their outdoor seating area. It can be a little loud at times, but inside is pretty quiet if that is more your vibe. Their menu offer a good variety of items. Some favorites for us are the gator bites, which sometimes are better than 6 and the conch fritters, which are always good. The conch fritters are some of the best in town, served with a bloody mary sauce that gives it a nice kick. The smoked fish dip is just ok and a bit underwhelming. The one thing I wish they had was a mixed drink menu. They used to when we first started coming. When they got rid of it, we were told they were working on revamping, but that was a few months ago. read more

We ate at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive. Redfish is one of my favorite dishes in New Orleans. I decided to give it a try at Rusty's and I didn't regret it. For red fish it's the sauce that makes the dish and I really enjoyed theirs. I'll go back there just to have the red fish again. read more

Service was awful. In the 3 1/2 hours we were there, they came by the table twice and once was to deliver deliver the bill which was wrong, had to be redone and was still wrong. We had to hunt down wait staff to place orders for food and water - they literally ignored us all night. Rusty is very close to interstate I-75. I was on assignment to the south and they are conveniently located near the exit. They also have seafood that I seek this time. I was here for for the blackened grouper. This dish come with one side for the sandwich. The blackened is not the Cajun spicy style blackened that I want. The amount of fish is good for the sandwich. Fish is fresh. I got the fries for side. I also got the conch fritters. It has some conch meat but not a lot. Conch fritters taste good. I sit at the bar, service is good for attention. Live music outside, but of course we were inside. Place is loud, so casual conversation is difficult. Food isn't spectacular. Much like any other "Sports Bar". DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO WATCH A GAME! The staff is seriously great. I only post to warn anyone that wants to come up to Rusty's to watch their favorite team play, you will be sorely disappointed. For at least 2 years, the tv feed stalls and jumps every 7-10 seconds, making it impossible to watch a game in real time. I have mentioned this to managers at least 10 times over that period, but it has yet to be addressed. Even the staff is frustrated bc people bitch at them. I guess they just don't give a f#%*. Seems strange bc they only need call DirecTV to come out to troubleshoot, but I guess that's too much effort. I live nearby, so I keep coming here, but it would be nice if they would fix the brutally annoying tv situation. read more

Went to Rusty's for a quick fish dinner and some beers on a Friday with my boyfriend. My food was good but the service was lacking. Our bar tender wasn't a go getter. The other bar tender made me a better Hendricks and soda for my second drink. We started with the peel n eat shrimp which were very good! But with the shells they didn't give us like a discard basket so I used a pile of napkins and piled the shells on there. Live music was outside, it was busy for a Friday, I've been here when it was the Italian restaurant and I've never seen it so crowded I'm glad the new restaurant is using all that space! For our entrees. I got the fried oyster basket which was very good. The cocktail sauce has a kick to it which is good to mix with the ketchup My boyfriend got the haddock sandwich. I went with my husband to Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill for dinner and beers in Fort Myers. It's a really cool spot. I like their outdoor bar and their selection of craft beers on tap. I ordered their Mahi Mahi tacos with coleslaw and a cup of their Boston Clam Chowder. My husband ordered their Grouper Basket. We both really liked our meals. Very good and consistent food. We normally get the Mac and cheese bites and potstickers for appetizers and they are amazing. The service is great and the bartenders are super nice. They also an entire arcade room with a ton of games. There are a ton of TVs everywhere with plenty of different games and sports such as college football, NFL, and MLB.
