There are garage sales and a mix of local artisans selling various things. The food options are plenty for everyone in your group. The garage sales are a hit, so many cool items just to browse for a bargain. Most clothing pieces are $1-$5, I was able to get two pairs of kids Vans size 13 for $4.00 total. They are in amazing shape! He will put a hole in them in a month so it's so nice to find kids shoes for cheap! Recycle and reuse, especially around the Hawaiian red dirt. Dog friendly and you can find parking around the neighborhood or take the trolley. There were so many vendors out on Wednesday morning, making it fun to walk around and explore. We even got to try fresh coconut juice and coconut , and it was so delicious! Everyone was incredibly friendly, and you can truly feel the aloha spirit throughout the market. The size of the market was not too large, and it's located near Target, Face Shop and the nearby shops along the way. The market brings a lot of foot traffic (local and visitors ) to the mall level shops near Target. The Vendors I spoke with were courteous and answered my questions about their products. Interestingly enough, I met one vendor who specifically did not want to be reviewed on Yelp. Her business was not yet on Yelp. She explained to me that she is a very small business and she did not want her business featured in a review or on Yelp. I honored the request and I hope did not post a review for her business. Vendors had all different price ranges. There were craft items, jewelry, caramels, homemade knitted items and so much more. Great for holiday gifts this year.

Always love the opportunity to see the creativity, love and passion crafters create as I've always have the love to create as far as I can remember...my first art was origami, having a box full of folded origami and an insanely huge master book with patterns even a grown adult would struggle. Not only is this event is conveniently held in Ala Moana Center fronting Target lower level it was over the weekends (Saturday and Sundays) from 10am to 4pm making it possible for many to attend...myself included. Shopaholics heaven with the various items prices to please I just love it. Follow them on Instagram @honolulumakersmarket to see what are the future dates and vendors participating as they do varry at times, not very large though they do take the entire grounds on the lower level making it a great covered area to shop. The amazing joy I find is that no two market is alike, as this December 2022 at Ward Village event was held in the former Pier 1 location next to Nordstrom Rack. I had a blast exploring @AdamJK uniqueness as each of us loved the realness we can relate to each item weather a time that says shhhh, I got a stress ball that says "Nothing Matters" and I'd really like the hat "I really don't know what I'm doing" for work lol!! His spirit was just so fun and bright :-) My other delight was One Shabby Chick @oneshabbychickhawaii and unknowingly my first tote from her was a collaboration with @makelemonadeproject a non profit to ease financial burdens and going though it myself instantly got me so of course I needed another tote! So many fun gifting ideas, Bas bookshop, jewelry ad even a random give away "fingers crossed" this pet friendly market has something for all. October 30, 2014 I took my family to the Art and Flea event…read more I caught the bus with my daughter and foster child. We met Darcie who parked her car in the Ward Warehouse parking lot. We walked across the street to the back portion behind Marukai. Admission was $3 for the adults. The two kids were free. There were food booths but we saved our hunger for Goma Tei in the Ward Center. I jumped on the bike that helped power the KTUH sound stage. I got a free bag from Kaleo newspaper. It had some cool goodies inside. At the Yelp booth, Raelyn played a trivia game. I won a Yelp thermos. Many vendors were set up in a two-story warehouse. We picked up some cool young women's clothes at a terrific discount. Andy Lee was making his art and kindly gave us a free sample. All in all a pretty good night for a family get-together or outing. Also, it seemed very pet friendly even though the theme was Tokyo. During some bedtime talk we agreed that this event was more art than flea, but the flea bargains were indeed great.

I heard about it from a sweet Japanese owner of this delicious local plate lunch spot (Pioneer) when I commented on how their vintage decor looked great, and noticed they were selling some of their vintage collectibles. The lady gave me a coupon/flyer to this show. I'm so glad I checked it out, it was so much more crowded than I expected. Over 90+ vendors, so much to look at and treasure-hunt through. Also a great place to discover good vintage sources, since the vendors can only bring a portion of their goods to the show! Price ranged from $1-$2000+ depending on what you're looking for. Bring cash!

Returned today to sell some clothes that I planned to just donate. Brought six pieces, I think half had tags on still. The brands included Lex Breezy, Yireh, Fighting Eel, and Ari South. They took all six pieces for $47.50. I was happy. I gave it to my husband so he could buy our lunch with it. Someone mentioned in a review that they might discount your purchase if you sold clothes. Maybe I misunderstood because they don't. I bought two sweatshirts. My daughter wanted a BLACKPINK 2022 tour sweatshirt and I got what was tagged as All in Motion (Target brand?). No clue since the actual sweatshirt had no tags on it. It just looked like a well loved, favorite hoody with no logo. Got both for $20. Everyone was pleasant enough. Overall it was a pleasant experience. You can't be offended if they don't take your clothes. Don't expect this to be a money making venture. Just think of it as an alternative to donating your clothes. If they take it, great. If they don't, then drop it off at Goodwill, Savers or Salvation Army. If you want to make money then list it on Mercari.
