Very small night market compared to other locations, still room for some more food trucks and venders. The food stands although limited had really good quality plates such as the Chicken Biryani from @alohaburma or the Shrimp Scampi from @dc_caterings both really excellent Not forgetting @IslandManapuaKalihi for some great dishes including the Peking Duck boa. For dessert you had the best @ta.ma.da.sweets with beautifully hand crafted Japanese custard and a variety of ice cream, sorbets that just tasted so creamy and flavorful. Prices are no more expensive as other night markets, liked that it started early in the afternoon 2:00pm and closed at 7:00pm. The family ended the evening at @jolenesbythebay for a few cocktails.

Parking was not easy. They had some good foods at booths but waiting for a parking space took time.

I have been coming to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet for a while now, and it honestly never gets old…read more It really is the ultimate spot for both cravings and savings. If you want local snacks, cheap souvenirs, or just a good walk, this is the place to be. Every time I visit, I end up finding something great, but this specific trip was a massive win. I had been on a hunt for coconut apple (the spongy, sweet embryo inside a mature coconut)...I had been to another marketplace, but this was the spot where I found it. I walked stall by stall, asking the vendors. Some gave me a knowing look, and some didn't, but when I found it, I was happy and able to relive my childhood memories of eating this. Between hunting down rare local treats and scoring great deals on shirts, gear, and random finds, you easily get your dollar's worth here. Just make sure to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes, and get there early before the sun really starts beating down.

A nice market for local craftsmen and smaller vendors to sell their products…read more The market area was on the mall level. The size of the market was not too large, and it's located near Target, Face Shop and the nearby shops along the way. The market brings a lot of foot traffic (local and visitors ) to the mall level shops near Target. The Vendors I spoke with were courteous and answered my questions about their products. Interestingly enough, I met one vendor who specifically did not want to be reviewed on Yelp. Her business was not yet on Yelp. She explained to me that she is a very small business and she did not want her business featured in a review or on Yelp. I honored the request and I hope did not post a review for her business. Vendors had all different price ranges. There were craft items, jewelry, caramels, homemade knitted items and so much more. Great for holiday gifts this year.

Always love the opportunity to see the creativity, love and passion crafters create as I've always have the love to create as far as I can remember...my first art was origami, having a box full of folded origami and an insanely huge master book with patterns even a grown adult would struggle. Not only is this event is conveniently held in Ala Moana Center fronting Target lower level it was over the weekends (Saturday and Sundays) from 10am to 4pm making it possible for many to attend...myself included. Shopaholics heaven with the various items prices to please I just love it. Follow them on Instagram @honolulumakersmarket to see what are the future dates and vendors participating as they do varry at times, not very large though they do take the entire grounds on the lower level making it a great covered area to shop. I've found so many items from stickers to plants and decor. The vibe is vibrant and enthusiastic as we look for that item we never knew we "needed" is something worth the search. Thank you!

I just adore a crafty mind!…read more As a major crafter myself I love finding the creativity and boldness they all take to the next level is just inspiring. The amazing joy I find is that no two market is alike, as this December 2022 at Ward Village event was held in the former Pier 1 location next to Nordstrom Rack. I had a blast exploring @AdamJK uniqueness as each of us loved the realness we can relate to each item weather a time that says shhhh, I got a stress ball that says "Nothing Matters" and I'd really like the hat "I really don't know what I'm doing" for work lol!! His spirit was just so fun and bright :-) My other delight was One Shabby Chick @oneshabbychickhawaii and unknowingly my first tote from her was a collaboration with @makelemonadeproject a non profit to ease financial burdens and going though it myself instantly got me so of course I needed another tote! So many fun gifting ideas, Bas bookshop, jewelry ad even a random give away "fingers crossed" this pet friendly market has something for all. Follow Art + Flea @artandflea to keep updated on their events, crafty retail therapy is a real Art form! Thank you!

October 30, 2014 I took my family to the Art and Flea event…read more I caught the bus with my daughter and foster child. We met Darcie who parked her car in the Ward Warehouse parking lot. We walked across the street to the back portion behind Marukai. Admission was $3 for the adults. The two kids were free. There were food booths but we saved our hunger for Goma Tei in the Ward Center. I jumped on the bike that helped power the KTUH sound stage. I got a free bag from Kaleo newspaper. It had some cool goodies inside. At the Yelp booth, Raelyn played a trivia game. I won a Yelp thermos. Many vendors were set up in a two-story warehouse. We picked up some cool young women's clothes at a terrific discount. Andy Lee was making his art and kindly gave us a free sample. All in all a pretty good night for a family get-together or outing. Also, it seemed very pet friendly even though the theme was Tokyo. During some bedtime talk we agreed that this event was more art than flea, but the flea bargains were indeed great.

I was pretty…read moreoptimistic and hoped for the best turnout despite hearing from people that they don't really give you anything money wise and turn you away even if you have good brand clothes overall. But i chose to see for myself which i did , the process was pretty straightforward and quick and easy , i filled out the form and the girl said she'd call me when they finished looking through my items. And said they'd be done in 10-15 minutes , no problem I decided to walk around and check out their selections of clothes and items they had. I must say they had cute tops and nice styles that I'd wear or that I normally wear on a daily basis , I'll give them that. So selection wise for clothes , they're doing their big one with that. I noticed for heels when i looked at the shoes ( I would never buy second hand shoes from here or anyone for that matter but it was just there ) , it was a pair of Coach brand heels. Super cute and gave off early 2000s vibes , when i picked up the shoe to see the sizing i noticed the bottom of the heel bursted out with stuffing. And I thought to myself that's odd that they took those heels in despite the condition that it was in. But i did notice as well for regular oversized t shirts , they were a bit worn down. And some were priced at ridiculous prices and stained. 10-15 minutes had passed and i went to check on my bag of clothes , apparently they did go through it quickly , but they didn't even bother to let me know or say anything until i went to check on them. So there's that.. mind you i brought in good brands which were in excellent mint condition ( Adidas , Champion ) and a few other brands. They ended up only taking one of my adidas shirts and a workout sweatshirt from the brand Legend, that still had a tag on. The girl working only offered me $5.. $5 for BOTH OF THEM. . I was like flabbergasted and said to myself "Wtf". Everyone knows Adidas is a good brand and pretty on the pricey side.. to even offer $5 for that is absolutely diabolical. Especially when it was in amazing condition , fairly brand new since I didn't even wear it. And Legend is pricey as well and it was brand new with tags , so that totally caught me off guard. I personally think the girls who work here don't give a sh*t, and are there to take up space or just to pass time. They were all chit chatting and doing their own thing. They even denied four people who came in after me and didn't bother looking at their bag of clothes they bought. I probably never will sell here again especially wasting my time for a petty $5 bill. Yes , it's better than $0 , but I brought in good clothes and that's that. Besides , the champion shirt I brought it in and adidas , looked far more better than the adidas and champion shirts they had hanging up on the racks that were tearing apart and hanging by a thread. The girls here don't know what they're doing with their jobs. I think they just take or don't take anything that you offer to sell and throw you a petty dollar and call it a day. I also noticed now making this review others had similar if not the same experiences as me.. lesson learned though. Fair game. I will only return to possibly shop since they had clothes i wear. Selling wise? Hell to the no. Never again.. if you got this far take it from me .. DON'T BOTHER SELLING HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SELLING TO ANOTHER LOCAL CONSIGNMENT STORE IF NOT FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE!!!!!!!!!
