There are garage sales and a mix of local artisans selling various things. The food options are plenty for everyone in your group. The garage sales are a hit, so many cool items just to browse for a bargain. Most clothing pieces are $1-$5, I was able to get two pairs of kids Vans size 13 for $4.00 total. They are in amazing shape! He will put a hole in them in a month so it's so nice to find kids shoes for cheap! Recycle and reuse, especially around the Hawaiian red dirt. Dog friendly and you can find parking around the neighborhood or take the trolley. The amazing joy I find is that no two market is alike, as this December 2022 at Ward Village event was held in the former Pier 1 location next to Nordstrom Rack. I had a blast exploring @AdamJK uniqueness as each of us loved the realness we can relate to each item weather a time that says shhhh, I got a stress ball that says "Nothing Matters" and I'd really like the hat "I really don't know what I'm doing" for work lol!! His spirit was just so fun and bright :-) My other delight was One Shabby Chick @oneshabbychickhawaii and unknowingly my first tote from her was a collaboration with @makelemonadeproject a non profit to ease financial burdens and going though it myself instantly got me so of course I needed another tote! So many fun gifting ideas, Bas bookshop, jewelry ad even a random give away "fingers crossed" this pet friendly market has something for all. October 30, 2014 I took my family to the Art and Flea event…read more I caught the bus with my daughter and foster child. We met Darcie who parked her car in the Ward Warehouse parking lot. We walked across the street to the back portion behind Marukai. Admission was $3 for the adults. The two kids were free. There were food booths but we saved our hunger for Goma Tei in the Ward Center. I jumped on the bike that helped power the KTUH sound stage. I got a free bag from Kaleo newspaper. It had some cool goodies inside. At the Yelp booth, Raelyn played a trivia game. I won a Yelp thermos. Many vendors were set up in a two-story warehouse. We picked up some cool young women's clothes at a terrific discount. Andy Lee was making his art and kindly gave us a free sample. All in all a pretty good night for a family get-together or outing. Also, it seemed very pet friendly even though the theme was Tokyo. During some bedtime talk we agreed that this event was more art than flea, but the flea bargains were indeed great.

I heard about it from a sweet Japanese owner of this delicious local plate lunch spot (Pioneer) when I commented on how their vintage decor looked great, and noticed they were selling some of their vintage collectibles. The lady gave me a coupon/flyer to this show. I'm so glad I checked it out, it was so much more crowded than I expected. Over 90+ vendors, so much to look at and treasure-hunt through. Also a great place to discover good vintage sources, since the vendors can only bring a portion of their goods to the show! Price ranged from $1-$2000+ depending on what you're looking for. Bring cash!

You can find aloha shirts just about anywhere on Oahu, whether at expensive boutiques in Waikiki or in the nearest ABC store. However, the visual appeal of the shirt depends completely the eye of the beholder. With that in mind, there probably isn't any other store on the island that offers a broader selection. It's pretty overwhelming. The drawback is that the massive inventory is packed in a retail space so constrained that it can be a challenge to navigate. It took me a while to realize the shirts on the central racks are the priciest, some costing hundreds and (gasp) even thousands of dollars. There are used shirts along the wall that sell as low as $9. I wasn't particularly clear on the difference in quality, but I'll give you one guess which racks I was rifling through. The clerk explained that there were a couple racks of new shirts and the rest are vintage. Many of the shirts were produced in Hawaii. In addition to shirts, they carry an assorted collection of Hawaiian themed vintage souvenirs, antiques and knick knacks. Some of the items are pretty dusty, and had me thinking that they hadn't been moved in a long time. The prices are pretty hefty (except the shirts were reasonable). There were a number of customers scooping up shirts. I was a little claustrophobic to be honest in the tight quarters. There is no dedicated parking. Street parking is available if you're lucky.

Maybe I misunderstood because they don't. I bought two sweatshirts. My daughter wanted a BLACKPINK 2022 tour sweatshirt and I got what was tagged as All in Motion (Target brand?). No clue since the actual sweatshirt had no tags on it. It just looked like a well loved, favorite hoody with no logo. Got both for $20. Everyone was pleasant enough. Overall it was a pleasant experience. You can't be offended if they don't take your clothes. Don't expect this to be a money making venture. Just think of it as an alternative to donating your clothes. If they take it, great. If they don't, then drop it off at Goodwill, Savers or Salvation Army. If you want to make money then list it on Mercari.
