Great friendly guys, but they did a questionable job. They offer a discount when you leave a review during payment, so be mindful that the reviews here are potentially influenced by that. They came over to clean my stove and upsold me on sealing the chimney. For $500 dollars they first applied the wrong sealing and used a different color paint, causing the entire 30ft chimney to crack and discolor. The owner called me after seeing the photos and offered to fix it. During the second visit they used different sealing and re-painted the entire chimney again. The result however is still not great because they didn't remove all the old sealing, so especially in the harder-to-reach places it still looks like a mess with paint streaks and cracks/chips falling down. Look I understand this is a small local business and I would love to leave a glowing review, but the reality is that they just didn't do a good job. We're very happy with their work cleaning our dryer vent duct. Even though the duct is fairly long and has two 90-degree angles, they were able to clean the entire line (with a few feet to spare) without moving the dryer. They removed a lot of built-up lint, which should make our dryer safer and more efficient, so it was money ($129) well spent. We were also going to have our chimney cleaned at the same time, but they noted some minor cracking in the fireplace, as well as some issues with the concrete and flashing around the exterior of the chimney. We're going to take a closer look at those issues before proceeding with the cleaning, but we're glad their inspection spotted them. Two other things to note. They arrived right on time and did the inspections, but because our dryer vent duct was a bit unusual. they had a separate employee come a few hours later to actually do the work (and he also would have done the chimney cleaning). This worked out fine, but it could have been an issue on some days. Also, I missed the fact that they do not take credit cards. They prefer electronic payment or cash, but they will take checks too. read more
