Wanted a decently priced hotel near Hocking Hills State Park. Found this one through Expedia. Location: Excellent! Closest option to the state park entrance for a hotel. McDonalds, Arby's, Bob Evans within sight. Staff: pleasant and helpful. Parking: plenty. There was a middle entrance I was able to park near for close proximity to my room. Security: I was glad the middle entrance was secured and access was via my room card key. Room: clean, decent enough. One king bed, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, microwave, fridge. However, the fridge did not work at all so drinks I brought ended up room temp and I had to ditch my yogurt. Also, note there are no USB ports,a feature most hotels do have. In fact, this hotel, pleasant enough as it is, shows it has not seen a renovation in a few decades, at least. The shower was hot, pressure good. The sink had severely slow drainage. I don't think drying your hair over a sink full of water is a grand idea (note: I did not). Breakfast: continental breakfast included for free. I do have to say this is by far the most meager option ever presented. No waffle machine or juice machine, staples of restaurants in this century. They did have orange juice in sealed cups in the fridge and milk for cereal. There was a toaster but no bagels or bread. They did have some hot dishes --gravy and some kind of egg. There were 2 biscuits available. They did have apples. Sooo, I grabbed an apple for my hike, ate cereal, drank juice then proceeded to McDonald's nearby. Sad, sad breakfast. Price: just under 100.00, tax included.

This was, by far, the worst experience we have ever had staying anywhere. Pitching a tent outside would be a major upgrade, you couldn't pay me to stay in this dump again. As soon as you walk in, you notice the smell of stale smoke and mildew. SEE PICS FOR THE REST.... Our TV stand was BROKEN and tilted at a 45 degree angle. There were NUMEROUS HOLES in the walls filled in with TOILET PAPER. There were BUGS all over the room, crawling everywhere including our drinking cups. The sink was clogged and took about 10 minutes for the water to finally seep through. The toilet was broken and CONTINUOUSLY FLUSHED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE NIGHT. The main door handle was loose and not secure - huge safety issue!! Another safety issues - the fire sprinkler head was rusted and COVERED in a disgusting substance - there is no way it works properly. Luckily I booked with Expedia, which has excellent customer service and gave us their own credits to use in the future because you can't find a corporate number for this piece of trash dump to save your life. They also tried to reach out to Wyndham for some sort of a refund, but Wyndham has not responded. At almost $200/night... This is not ok.

    Mold and mildew in bathroom

Just had a recent stay at this Hotel. June 10, 2022 check in June 11, 2022 check out  checked in at around 11 pm Upon arrival and going to our original room 106  Entered the room and it had A VERY STRONG MOLD AND MILDEW ORDOR!!!!! When I went to the front Desk the young lady that checked us in ( she was very friendly) was no longer working. There was a older woman working Desk and when I told her about the room  her solution was I have some air freshener do you want it. She acted like it was a inconvenience and had a very annoyed look on her face after I told her that would NOT work the smell is so strong and I have allergies to mold and mildew. She again acted annoyed and At that point I said yes I know I'm a pain in the A$$. All she could say is I don't think we have anything else and if we do it would be on second floor. I told her I did not care if it was on second floor, but I want to check room out before I took it. At that time my husband came to desk and said there is NO WAY we are staying in that room cause the bathroom is full of Mold and Mildew.  She gave us room Room 107 across the hall. Which was better. But you could see where there is water stain starting and also something nasty growing in bathroom vent. The refrigerator DIDN'T WORK!!!! So things we had bought to be able to put in refrigerator we couldn't! I took pictures of the first room bathroom and showed to front desk lady and she said oh it'll give maintenance something to do tomorrow the popcorn needs redone. NO!!! That ceiling NEEDS TAKEN OUT AND REPLACED AND THEN POPCORN CEILING REDONE!!!! Know this cause my husband was a licensed builder and is a Carpenter as well. When we got across the hall and he checked our new room bathroom and seen water spot he said " There is a leak on the second floor somewhere for these two rooms bathrooms to be like this, especially over the bathroom in our first room.  At $139 for the night it's unexceptionable for that first room to Have been given to us!!!! You can not tell me that NO one has complained or known about that issue in room 106. I know I will NOT be staying at this hotel again or referring it to anyone.  And my Lungs Thank you for the Allergy flair up  NOT!!!!!!

There's a large pool in the center of the hotel so you can go for a swim just 10 feet outside your hotel room if you want. The town of Logan itself is also very close to a lot of nearby parks and hiking, which the hotel provides lots of information on. There was a....unusually large list of rules and terms to agree to when checking in, but ultimately it wasn't anything too concerning and mostly common sense things. The rooms themselves were alright, kind of small and not super swanky but still clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. There's a little "soft background noise" speaker in each room which defaults to soft beach waves which is a nice touch. If you like supporting local businesses, need a reasonably priced dog-friendly hotel or both I'd recommend here.

The place is charming, loved the theme, it is all Key West related, to the point of even having wave sounds (and others) as white noise in the room. Don't worry it's adjustable and you can turn it off. The room was a bit smelly, but I guess it is because it was a room where they allow dogs? The floor could be a little bit cleaner (it was a bit sticky). They have a few rules in the room, and also dogs can't be in the bed.

"We have 5 people but are totally fine with getting one room and sleeping one on the floor." Most hotels tell us "I'm sorry, you have to buy two rooms for double the price." If we're lucky, some hotels tell us "That's Okay. We have spare bedding too if you would like." But this hotel was so bold as to shatter the status quo. They dared tell us "That's ok! We have a cot bed and bedding we can roll up there for you too!" Who does tha!?!? Good people do that! Staff was VERY friendly and helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty! When we got to the room, it was very nice and clean. Beautiful view. Large fridge (large for a hotel, at least) and a stove. Free freshly baked cookies in the lobby as well as water and lemon water. Elevator was a little slow, but the stairway didn't look like a great place to commit a murder, unlike most hotel stairways (don't ask me how I know ). Clean indoor pool. We tried taking one cookie each, but tuat didn't go over well with the staff. Here's how that conversation went. "Caleb, did mom and dad want a cookie?" "No, Braden, they did not." Hotel staff replied, "Please! Take some extras anyway! We just baked them and we only have one more arrival today!" Can you believe that? Check in was a five star experience at least, and I'm not one of those people who leave five stars at everything. I usually leave 3 or 4 stars for exceptional experience. But when I awoke, everything was a blur, as if - oh, false alarm, I hadn't put my glasses back on yet. We headed downstairs to a free well-stalked breakfast. As a Southerner, I found the gravy to be far from remarkable, but for what it's worth, it tasted good. The manager kept coming up to people to ask them how their meal was. There was a nice coffee machine with strong but compostable lids. The staff upon checkout was very polite and wished us swfe travels. Overall, this is a great place to stay for a quick overnight or a week-long trip to the nearby popular hiking and nature parks.

Walking distance to a few restaurants and across the main highway from downtown Logan. Definitely would stay here again!

There was a light fixture above the bed that was CAKED with dust/dirt and cobwebs. Tons of dust bunnies under the bed. Hair in the bed so I'm I'm presuming the bedding wasn't washed. Hair on the toilet. Hair and other questionable substances (shampoo?) in the shower. Secondly, maintence or lack thereof. In the cabinet under the sink, there was a hole in the wall exposing piping? Tons of water damage everywhere. Ant trap under the sink. Cigarette burns in the comforter. The desk was somehow peeling apart. Third: outdated. Straight out of 1972. Old, miniature televisions (with remote control instructions written on a post-it note at the front desk). The entire motel was tomato soup orange and pastel yellow. All of the furniture and bedding was outdated and none of it was cohesive. Fourth: lack of amenities. No shampoo or conditioner. No coffee pot. No welcoming information or brochures. No pool. 1 vending machine with very limited choices. No WiFi. Also, the air conditioning in the building was off when we got there as well as in our room. It was 90° outside. Lastly, it was sketchy. When we first pulled up, a shirtless man and a woman (guests?) came walking out and glared at us. The man at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming. Overall it had a very bad vibe. It's the kind of place you stay in when you're running from the cops. I hope someone can turn this place around because the downtown area seems sort of cute.

When I showed up we were shown the beds and given the opportunity to walk around with the cabin owner. Everything looked clean. We stayed 4 nights and there were no bites between the 6 of us. Ok now that part is done -- the cabin is a bit past it's prime. There is no Wi-Fi. I am a worry wart so I was nervous about the structure of the home. Starting at the top portion of the house: there were three beds up on the left, careful of the second (or was it the third) from the top stair which isn't truly a stair anymore, it's leaning at a 45 degree angle so it would be easy to slide down the stairs if you aren't using the stair rail. The main floor: the bedroom on this floor is perfectly fine, though the bed is a bit springy. It is connected to a LARGE bathroom with a jet garden tub. The kitchen is lacking cabinet space and counter space, if you are planning on cooking. The fridge is also void of the drawers, and door rails so there's no stage on the door. The stove has seen better days but mostly works fine. The living room has 2 couches, 1 love seat, wood burner, and an older box TV. The floor is a bit weak in here, seemed like one good ragger away from caving in. There are two ways to get to the wrap around porch which is also way past it's prime. That's really all I'll say about that because it's fine enough. There is a grill. The basement: this is where the shower is located. It's also where you get to the hot tub. Other than that there wasn't anything amiss downstairs. Everything was pleasant, it was clean and everything smelled good. There were plenty of clean towels and the kitchen has enough in there, that most people can cook about anything. We found 1 tick the entire time we were there (4 nights 5 days)
