This was an amazing spot for dinner and a sunset! Sit upstairs so you can get the best views. I started with the sunset marg which was pretty sweet - probably would go for a different drink next time. I wanted to sample a bunch of different seafoods so I ended up ordering the ocean bounty bucket! Plenty of food for 1 person and would make a good app for 2. The conch was interesting - I read you should go for cracked conch over a fritter but the fritters were good. Always love a fried shrimp and the scallop was really good as well! The mahi wasn't quite as tender as I wanted. Of course had to end with some key lime pie! My servers were super sweet and helpful with recommendations and I got to sit right next to the balcony. Make sure you don't miss the sunset!

Sat downstairs! Great views of the bay.

The food is tasty and you can't beat the view. It's on the bayside and is just everything 'Keys Life' is about. Good food, good drinks, sun and fun. Service is good. We sat at the downstairs area. They had great live music, great drinks and food. We didn't get a chance to take pictures but we had shrimp, lobster, nachos! All were very tasty.

Absolutely enjoyed the beautiful sunset view, live music and had their house specialty rum punch. They blow the conch horn at sunset which was cool. We tried conch fritters everywhere we went and found these to be the best. We also got a slice of their own in house made Key Lime pie. It was a dense cheesecake style that was different than others and so delicious! Wonderful tropical laid back vibe. Definitely would recommend next time I am coming by boat!

I cannot believe this restaurant doesn't have more stars. Or better reviews. I could not find anything wrong. Neither the service or the food. Everything was SUPERB! We were able to sit wherever we wanted. We decided to sit in a table for four on the first floor, outdoor. Not sure if the second level has inside seating but it was a perfect evening with a nice breeze. We definitely wanted outdoor seating plus the sun was setting. My husband ordered for me a Key Lime Mojito and he had a MoTito. My first Mojito since I'm not an alcohol drinker but it was the perfect drink to relax & recharge. My batteries were fried...lol We also decided to order the Seafood Nachos and it was D E L I C I O U S! The nachos were regular chips. Good but the star of the show was the seafood of course! The fish, shrimp and scallops were seasoned to perfection. It was chef's kiss for real!! I honestly was full with the nachos but I was curious about the Seafood Enchiladas. My husband was still hungry and wanted to try the Ocean Bounty Bucket of fried fish, scallops, shrimp and potato wedges. Oh it also included Conch fritters and a side of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Every single bite of everything I tried in that "bucket" was bursting with flavor and fried to a nice crisp. The cocktail sauce (which is never my favorite) was sooo good. I don't know if it's homemade but it was the best I have ever tried. Tartar sauce was pretty good too. I almost didn't have room for dessert BUT I knew I couldn't leave without trying a slice of their homemade Key Lime pie. I figured if the food we ordered was great then I could only imagine what their desserts taste like. I was right. Key Lime Pie 10/10!!! Not too overpowering, very creamy with just the right amount of sweet & tangy. The crust was delicious too. I can't wait to go back and try more entrees and desserts! This place seriously exceeded my expectations and was a lot better than other popular spots in Key Largo!

Amazing ambiance and service. A lot of waitstaff. Gorgeous view and sunset. We sat upstairs and had a corner table near the women's bathroom. I didn't mind as the sun was already setting and most of our dining was when the sun went down. Started with yellowtail ceviche - strong on the citrus and coconut milk. Tasty but a little overwhelming. The Jamaican peel and eat shrimp were really good. Husband had the lobster pasta special. I got trio fish and they came w Mahi, yellowtail and triple tail mmmm. Side of rice and some seasoned squash. Delicious. Husband was very fond of the sunset margarita. The waitress Geo gave us this complimentary piece of key lime pie because our food took too long (not necessary but kind). We had just paid and were leaving. Geo stopped me and handed me a key lime pie slice and said it was for our food taking so long. We had not complained and I told her that was not expected but aww thank you. How sweet. Very great place to dine.

Restaurant is tucked down a small road shared with another establishment. ...keep driving down the back road, you will run right into it. This restaurant has a great view of the water, better as the sun is going down. The food is one of the best in town. The conch chowder was hearty and the jambalaya was outstanding. It seemed as if service was a little short on staff, but they worked hard to make sure you were taken care of. One of the best places on the island. I came to the Keys to see a pretty sunset, and we got dinner with a great view as well!

Bayside Grill & Sunset Bar is a great waterfront location, we sat in second floor and had a fantastic view of the Key Largo sunset! Great fish and margaritas. We hung out and enjoyed listening to the live music. Great evening!

Incredible indoor, bayside lunch today! My family came here for lunch to enjoy the views on the water and was not disappointed! The restaurant was not busy at all so we got the best table overlooking the water. Our waiter was attentive the entire time. We ordered the coconut shrimp and Bayside Mahi Sandwich. Our food tasted so good, and I was planning to eat half my sandwich but ended up eating the entire thing. What a gem of a restaurant in Key Largo, a must go-to if staying here or passing through.

The sampler comes with two conch fritters, two coconut shrimp, two bacon wrapped items (which we replaced), cracked conch, and lobster and conch ceviche. I have to say this while it's fresh in my mind. The moment I had the lobster and shrimp ceviche, I got chills. Just an incredible burst of flavor. Tiny bit of heat at the end but nothing overwhelming. Just really, really good. The conch fritters are solid too. Chewy, not over breaded, and served with two sauces. One is sweet and one is more of a mayo style. There's also something that eats like a conch curry puff situation. I liked the cracked conch better personally, but both are worth trying. The coconut shrimp is also really good. The sampler also comes with tortilla chips on the side. The lobster bisque is delicious. Great flavor with little chunks of what I'm pretty sure is lobster throughout. Nothing more to add really. It's just good. The mahi and avocado dish has a nice seared taste to it. Not flame broiled exactly, but that kind of grilled sear that you want on fish. The pico de gallo is similar to what came with the ceviche, and it works really well here. All in at $75.

Although the menu was heavy with seafoods, I ordered a club wrap with fries. My lunch partner ordered conch tacos with tortilla chips. The wrap itself was wheat based. It included ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheese with an unknown sauce. It was good but the ham should've been sliced thinner rather than big chunks of ham. The fries were seasoned well. The conch tacos were good. The conch was fried and mixed with picol and red cabbage in a soft tortilla shell. The dish was accompanied by tortilla chips. All was tasty. The staff was knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable.

Five stars, and I want to explain this properly because High Tide in Key Largo is absolutely a…read moreplace people should experience at least once. This is one of those spots that immediately tells you it's a local favorite the second you walk in. It feels homey, lived in, and deeply rooted in the community. The average crowd definitely skews older, which honestly just shows how loyal the regulars are and how long this place has been doing something right. We stood for a minute or two when we arrived, which wasn't a problem at all, but the initial interaction felt a little abrupt. Nothing hostile, just very direct and urgent. We later found out that Cathy is the owner, and it became clear very quickly that this place is her whole world. She works hard, moves fast, and runs on urgency. That energy can sometimes come off sharp, especially to visitors who aren't used to that local, no frills style, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. There were moments throughout our visit where the tone felt a little rough around the edges, and it wasn't just with us, we noticed it with other tables too. It didn't feel personal, more like someone who is stretched thin and running on fumes. To her credit, there were moments where she self corrected, and I genuinely believe this was just a long day rather than bad intentions. Running a place like this day in and day out is not easy, and you can feel how much effort goes into keeping it moving. This review isn't meant to tear anyone down, just to be honest for future guests so they know what to expect walking in. What truly changed our entire experience and pushed this from a four star visit to a solid five was our server. Her name started with a T, she wore glasses, and she was African American, and she was an absolute blessing. She treated us with warmth, patience, and genuine care, like we were family she was looking out for. When we sat down and the table needed to be wiped, she handled it gracefully without a single awkward moment. Everything she did felt intentional and kind. She was attentive without hovering, respectful, and genuinely happy to be doing her job. There was also a sweet older Latina woman clearing tables who was just as lovely and welcoming. It became very clear that despite the different personalities, this place functions as a team, and the heart of High Tide lives in the people who treat guests with care and humanity. If you get that server whose name starts with a T, you are in excellent hands. Now let's talk about the food, because this is where High Tide really shines. The hash brown casserole is a straight ten out of ten. No exaggeration. Comfort food perfection. Crispy, savory, and absolutely worth ordering. The country style platter we ordered was also a ten according to my friend, hearty and satisfying in the best way. The lobster benedict was good, I would give it about an eight. It's a fun, unique option if you want to try something different, but not the standout compared to the rest of the menu. And then there's the real star of the show, the Key lime pie. Even if you are not hungry, come for the pie. This is hands down the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, not overly tart, smooth and almost cheesecake like in texture. It's the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite because it's that good. Beautifully presented too. The decor is charming and thoughtfully cluttered in a way that feels authentic, not staged. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Parking is a little quirky but manageable, and there is parking available if you're patient. Overall, the vibe is cozy, memorable, and unmistakably local. Would I come back? Absolutely, especially for the food and that pie. Cathy, you are clearly working your ass off, and I hope this was just a rough day. This review comes with honesty and flowers, not shade. Five stars for the food, the heart, and the people who make this place what it is. I do recommend it.
