I was not happy with this place, it was such a money grab. I paid for my son to have the kids steak, I asked for Rice as a side substitute but they wouldn't accommodate. Then I ordered seafood nachos, I asked for some extra pico de gallo and the server rang in an appetizer size with chips for $8! All I wanted was extra pico for my nachos. I wouldn't have minded paying a little extra money but $8?!!! He just wanted to get his check size bigger! I will not be coming back! I will also warn others.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was an amazing spot for dinner and a sunset! Sit upstairs so you can get the best views.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with the sunset marg which was pretty sweet - probably would go for a different drink next time. I wanted to sample a bunch of different seafoods so I ended up ordering the ocean bounty bucket! Plenty of food for 1 person and would make a good app for 2. The conch was interesting - I read you should go for cracked conch over a fritter but the fritters were good. Always love a fried shrimp and the scallop was really good as well! The mahi wasn't quite as tender as I wanted. Of course had to end with some key lime pie! My servers were super sweet and helpful with recommendations and I got to sit right next to the balcony. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Make sure you don't miss the sunset![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sat downstairs! Great views of the bay.

The food is tasty and you can't beat the view. It's on the bayside and is just everything 'Keys Life' is about. Good food, good drinks, sun and fun. Service is good. We sat at the downstairs area. They had great live music, great drinks and food. We didn't get a chance to take pictures but we had shrimp, lobster, nachos! All were very tasty.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely enjoyed the beautiful sunset view, live music and had their house specialty rum punch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They blow the conch horn at sunset which was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried conch fritters everywhere we went and found these to be the best. We also got a slice of their own in house made Key Lime pie. It was a dense cheesecake style that was different than others and so delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful tropical laid back vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely would recommend next time I am coming by boat!

I cannot believe this restaurant doesn't have more stars. Or better reviews. I could not find anything wrong. Neither the service or the food. Everything was SUPERB! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were able to sit wherever we wanted. We decided to sit in a table for four on the first floor, outdoor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not sure if the second level has inside seating but it was a perfect evening with a nice breeze. We definitely wanted outdoor seating plus the sun was setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband ordered for me a Key Lime Mojito and he had a MoTito. My first Mojito since I'm not an alcohol drinker but it was the perfect drink to relax & recharge. My batteries were fried...lol We also decided to order the Seafood Nachos and it was D E L I C I O U S! The nachos were regular chips. Good but the star of the show was the seafood of course! The fish, shrimp and scallops were seasoned to perfection. It was chef's kiss for real!! I honestly was full with the nachos but I was curious about the Seafood Enchiladas. My husband was still hungry and wanted to try the Ocean Bounty Bucket of fried fish, scallops, shrimp and potato wedges. Oh it also included Conch fritters and a side of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Every single bite of everything I tried in that "bucket" was bursting with flavor and fried to a nice crisp. The cocktail sauce (which is never my favorite) was sooo good. I don't know if it's homemade but it was the best I have ever tried. Tartar sauce was pretty good too. I almost didn't have room for dessert BUT I knew I couldn't leave without trying a slice of their homemade Key Lime pie. I figured if the food we ordered was great then I could only imagine what their desserts taste like. I was right. Key Lime Pie 10/10!!! Not too overpowering, very creamy with just the right amount of sweet & tangy. The crust was delicious too. I can't wait to go back and try more entrees and desserts! This place seriously exceeded my expectations and was a lot better than other popular spots in Key Largo!

Amazing ambiance and service. A lot of waitstaff. Gorgeous view and sunset. We sat upstairs and had a corner table near the women's bathroom. I didn't mind as the sun was already setting and most of our dining was when the sun went down. Started with yellowtail ceviche - strong on the citrus and coconut milk. Tasty but a little overwhelming. The Jamaican peel and eat shrimp were really good. Husband had the lobster pasta special. I got trio fish and they came w Mahi, yellowtail and triple tail mmmm. Side of rice and some seasoned squash. Delicious. Husband was very fond of the sunset margarita. The waitress Geo gave us this complimentary piece of key lime pie because our food took too long (not necessary but kind). We had just paid and were leaving. Geo stopped me and handed me a key lime pie slice and said it was for our food taking so long. We had not complained and I told her that was not expected but aww thank you. How sweet. Very great place to dine.

Restaurant is tucked down a small road shared with another establishment. ...keep driving down the back road, you will run right into it. This restaurant has a great view of the water, better as the sun is going down. The food is one of the best in town. The conch chowder was hearty and the jambalaya was outstanding. It seemed as if service was a little short on staff, but they worked hard to make sure you were taken care of. One of the best places on the island. I came to the Keys to see a pretty sunset, and we got dinner with a great view as well!

Incredible indoor, bayside lunch today! My family came here for lunch to enjoy the views on the water and was not disappointed! The restaurant was not busy at all so we got the best table overlooking the water. Our waiter was attentive the entire time. We ordered the coconut shrimp and Bayside Mahi Sandwich. Our food tasted so good, and I was planning to eat half my sandwich but ended up eating the entire thing. What a gem of a restaurant in Key Largo, a must go-to if staying here or passing through.

Not sure if it's because we are a large party 10 or more, or what? Our last visit was a Sunday evening in early July . We ate outside. Waiter was good at getting water out to everyone. But when it came to drink orders we must have waited 15-20 minutes for him to take our drink orders. I had to ask him to take my appetizer order. We had to ask several times for our drinks - soft drinks- not alcoholic. They were not good at cleaning our dirty appetizer plates away after delivering dinner leaving the table crowded. I think what I found most annoying was watching our server and another server standing around while we were waiting for drinks, for order taking, for refills, etc. There was just no attention being paid to us. Maybe the guy was new? Not sure. The restaurant wasn't very busy so that wasn't the excuse. I've heard it's difficult to get good help in the Keys. Cost a lot to live here. Most commute from Homestead. Anyway- good for the food - don't expect great service. Ironically I did over tip. I was a server in college so I try to be generous.

Having arrived at 4:30pm, we were immediately shown to a table and informed about the happy hour specials. Not normally ones to drink much on vacation, my wife and I instead opted to live in the moment and enjoy the island life, especially since it was 30 degrees when we left Ohio that morning. As such, we each ordered a rum punch (pictured), while my best friend ordered a Bulliet old fashioned and his wife a house margarita. With drink orders out of the way, Deja, our absolutely delightful waitress, took our food orders: sauteed seafood combo (for my wife), backyard BBQ burger with coleslaw (for me), burger and fries (for my BFF and his wife, who -unlike us- were smart enough to save room for dessert). While waiting for our meals, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, and wow was there a lot to take in! First off, we loved how the old Pizza Hut building had been repurposed and transformed into the embodiment of the tropical island lifestyle. From the display tables showcasing seashells and historic Florida Keys photos, to the license plate light fixtures, to the ceiling-mounted blue sky and clouds panels, to the fish hanging in front of each distinctively Pizza Hut trapezoidal window, we loved it all! When our food arrived, it looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife described her seafood combo as being excellent, with the Caribbean lobster "almost as good as the ones we get in Maine." Likewise, her fish was fresh and delicious, while the shrimp were succulent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was topped with expertly caramelized onions and bacon with just the right amount of crispness to it. My coleslaw side was also excellent, with the perfect balance of creaminess and zing. Our friends also said their burger and shoestring fries were fantastic. To round out our meal, each of the four of us ordered pieces of Key Lime Pie, which was some of the best I have ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of Key Lime Pies!)! Throughout our meal, Deja checked on us often without being overbearing, and kept the drinks flowing. All told, for 5 drinks, 3 entrées with sides, and 4 slices of Key Lime Pie, our bill before tax, tip, and credit card surcharge was $163.93. Considering the excellent food and outstanding service we received, the four of us universally agreed it was well worth the price! Pros: outstanding service, fantastic flavours, great atmosphere, and the 2-for-1 drinks during happy hour were a great deal! Cons: none! Overall we rate Mrs. Mac's Kitchen as being Excellent and cannot wait to go back!

We sat down at our table and then the place filled up. Talk about timing! I saw crab cake Benedict on the menu and knew I had to try it. I was also interested in the Lobster Benedict but they also had a lobster omelette so my husband agreed to get the omelette and we would share so we could try both their omelettes and the Benedict. He got their breakfast casserole for a $2 up charge and the waitress said "oh, good choice," so we were both excited to see what that was going to be like. I ordered the grits with cheese. Our food came out in a timely manner and we enjoyed our coffee while we waited. The staff were great about keeping our mugs filled at all times. The food was served and I really enjoyed the crab cakes Benedict. The grits were just ok. Even with the cheese and butter, salt and pepper I added it was just bland. My husband liked his omelette. We tried each others and I think my pick won out. I will say his breakfast casserole was delicious! It had so much flavor. Definitely worth paying the extra couple bucks for imo. My friends all commented they enjoyed their food. They had some breakfast sandwiches and egg meals. We liked that they brought our check with a seashell on top. One of my friends was hoping we could keep them. I thought it was a nice added touch. We won't run back here but certainly would eat there again if we were in the area.

I was disappointed though because the "hash browns" on the side were not the homemade kind, but a frozen deep fried cake. I was also disappointed to find that the "lobster" was actually a breaded deep fried mixture, like a crab cake. I intentionally did not order the crab cake Benedict because I don't like that kind of thing. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and Swiss cheese.
