What can I say about Bayside Pavers. They are awesome! It was a very professional project done right the first time. Ben, was exceptionally nice and not pushy at all about getting the work on this project. Also Ben is an exceptional Project Manager from the start to finish on this project, the job took about four days to complete. At first, i though I could do this job myself with a few friends (pay them in beer money) and save a few bucks but even the thought of just breaking the 50 year old pool area concrete (I'd definitely be in the hospital, just trying to break up the concrete) and I was sore just watching the Bayside Paver guys breaking up the old concrete) was just too much of a task and then I'd probably procrastinate another 10 more years. Heck, just walking on the "hurt footing" concrete was painful. I'm serious, every time I'd walk in that old pool area concrete it would hurt my feet. You'd think after 10 years that my feet would just adjust to the "hurt footing" concrete but they never did. I had a few bidders and a few pushy sales individuals but Ben was the the polar opposite and his bid was far more reasonable than the rest. A day before the project was to begin, I saw a "port o paddy" (for the crew) at the house. I was a little worried about the construction crew would have to come into the house to use the bathrooms(yuck), which was never an issue with Bayside Pavers. Plus, each day, the project crew, would clean up their mess (and there were mega messes) better than if I could ever do and I'm a perfectionist with my house, lawn and pool. So after the super nice pavers we're installed, I actually had more pool patio area (old concrete was slanted and crappy) which I don't quite understand (heck, there is a corner that they actually professionally moved one of my sprinkler heads). Plus, I added the night lights (absolutely you will want to have) and now my backyard looks like a resort living! --------------- Update --------------- After not hearing from them for nearly a month, Crystal finally called to apologize and then said that this will be 100% taken care of and that she will schedule someone to come out and inspect the issues. Someone (JR) finally did come out to inspect and eventually contractors will be scheduled to come out for the actual repairs. Now that the repairs are done, it looks great just how it was when it was originally installed. Thanks Bayside for taking care of the repairs, I really just wished that my 10+ calls were not blatantly ignored and that things were only resolved because of my original Yelp review --------------- Original review --------------- After roughly 8 months of the installation completed, some of the pavers started to sink and then created large gaps between the pavers. This must have been because the workers made a mistake in setting the foundation and so the pavers were not stable to begin with. It became a serious issue because this was in the front driveway and it poses a tripping hazard and I needed to resolve this as soon as possible I called them first about this on 9/11/23 and Crystal told me to email back with warranty claim form, which I did immediately I called for a status update on 9/25/23 and Crystal said she scheduled someone to come out to take a look that week. Nobody came that week I called for another status update on 10/16/23 and Crystal said she needed more pictures about of the issues, I texted them to her immediately I called on 10/23/23, no reply I called 4 times on 11/01/23, no reply I called 2 times on 11/02/23, no reply I called 2 times on 11/03/23, no reply At this point, they are just ignoring me which is absolutely garbage of customer service. If you don't want to help me with this issue just let me know so I can figure out a different solution. All I wanted to know was, what can be done and if/how much it would cost and I was professional and polite with them the whole time. read more

I had 6 quotes from different contractors to remodel my back yard with Calstone pavers. I didn't intend to get so many quotes but a few companies either didn't carry insurance or they weren't licensed. Bayside Pavers are licensed, bonded and insured which is 'square one' for me. Their quote wasn't the cheapest but it was competitive and by far they were the most detailed in the description of the scope of work and in their contract. Kris who was my initial contact was excellent, detailed and knowledgeable. He arrived on time, answered my calls and text and was very reliable which I appreciate. the job was executed quickly and flawlessly in my opinion and covered everything I asked for including removal of a tree and additional drainage. Very happy with Bayside. I got 4 quotes and decided to go with them as they were a very fair price. Kris and his crew demolished my 700sqft concrete driveway and replaced it with beautiful Belgard pavers. I was leaning toward a darker color but Kris's professional option made me chose differently and I'm so glad I did. His crew demolished the concrete, removed the debris, laid the base rock & geometric sand, professionally leveled and sloped it, layed the pavers and bonded them with the polymeric sand all within 48 hrs. They also installed an underground pipe beneath the pavers and tied it to my downspout. Other companies wanted an additional $1000 for that. They also did a great job cleaning up and not disturbing my landscaping. Looking forward to using them again for future projects. read more

Horrendous driver eastbound on the bay bridge today, around 3:30 in truck lic#09902A3 - not only did he zoom up on the right and try to use the offramp to "merge", accomplishing only the narrow insertion of one his headlights in a gap less than half a car-length, he proceeded to force his way in with no thought to his or anyone else's vehicle or well-being and would have damaged his company truck and my car had I not maneuvered around his utter incompetence and allowed him in.
