We previously used a budget blinds company in the area on our business' windows and those were okay but the Hunter Douglas blinds we got with this company have been top notch. The price here was the best we found for top-down/bottom-up blinds with the enclosed string, and we also had some rooms with the blackout style blinds because I work nightshift... They have all been great... But the real difference for us has been in the fact that the customer service over the years when the kids' broke a tab or string on the blinds has been amazing, and the response to get the blinds fixed and returned to us has been really fast. I originally was going to replace only two sets of hated vertical blinds...but Laurajean's selection caused me to "upgrade" to doing all of the windows in my town home (all of the other window treatments were builder's grade vinyl mini-blinds. There was a problem from the manufacturer with the width of a few of the blinds...and another manufacturer's problem with imperfections in the weave of one set of blinds for a patio slider. They make these custom, high quality window treatments in many beautiful fabrics.. NOT one size fits all. Our consultant, Daphne, was a great listener and thoughtfully evaluated our situation and concerns (light filtering vs black out for an upstairs guest room with high windows and skylights. Our concerns were insulation/energy for this project). She measured using a laser system which is fast and extremely accurate. She also brought her own ladders. We looked at my wall colors and she gave me her opinion as I was on the fence. Within a few days, Daphne sent a detailed quotation including several options as I wasn't sure which way to go. The quotation included information on the lifetime warranty, US-made product, and Costco Shop Card (which is truly awesome!) We made our decisions on color and styles and were able to pay/place order online. Daphne came back out as soon as the blinds were received and even managed to squeeze us in despite the busy holiday season. I should mention Daphne was personable, efficient, and extremely professional as I remembered her and her meticulous attention to detail when she installed blinds for several projects at our previous home. He arrived at the exact time specified and brought samples for me to review. During the initial consultation, he wasn't rushed and took the time to explain the different types of products and how the UV blocking technology worked and how it helped block light while still providing visibility. He also used a very cool laser guided measuring tool that was a lot more accurate than the old fashioned plastic tape measure. I like supporting locally owned businesses and companies that are family owned. Ante' has been installing and cleaning blinds for over twenty years and is a true pleasure to work with throughout the process. His pricing is fair and honest.
