Toured with our family and really liked some parts of the Castle pointe facility. However the sales person although friendly seemed overly aggressive and distracted. We also didn't get a good feel when she insisted our 88 year old dad would qualify for a special va benefit. She told us a lot of residents who lived there qualified and she did all the paperwork. Baywinde claims they are one of the premiere Assisted Living places in Rochester. However, they scam residents and their families. They bill for services on the last day of the month. They literally give you one, YES ONE, day to get payment in or they charge a $350 late fee. Some months they do not even bill. Plus, they serve the same entrees for a month.
